Clean. Good air conditioning. Free drinking water. Provide towels, hair dryer, shampoo & shower cream. Nice staff. No breakfast.

The Adler Hostel is in a great location on South Bridge Road, right in Chinatown. It's walking distance to fabulous eateries, temples, mosques and shopping. The budget bunks are small but comfortable - all you need for a short stay. The downstairs areas however are stylish and spacious - far more opulent than I expected for the price! The staff are wonderfully helpful and gracious. Good hot showers, clean facilities, and no rowdy backpackers (not while I was there anyway!) Very civilised. Recommended.

Love this place. Nicely decorated, place is clean. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Great location in Chinatown. There are great restaurants around and close to a subway station + tourist attractions. The bed is really comfortable. You really get your money’s worth.

This is okay place. There was a stain on he sheet, lock didn’t work and toilet door can’t be closed properly hence bad showering experience.
Good location and great to explore nearby. Free coffee for visitors and common area to hang out. Fast internet and free use of steam iron.

The temperature is very hot. They have 4 AC in my room(40 persons) but the staff turned on only one. I stay here 3 nights. The first night, I asked her to turn on more AC but she just forgot. The second night, I told another staff again but he is also forgot. The locker is out of order, The staff said that she will come back with the key but she forgot. The key card is out of order. The fan in bathroom is out of order(very hot). No any lite breakfast in this hostel. I am speechless.

I stayed at Adler Hostel from 18-21/4/2018. The impression of the hostel was very good. Classical style dinning room and toilet. Clean and quiet bedroom with cool air-conditioning. The location is perfect that it is opposite Chinatown, near Maxwell Hawker's centre. Will come back again if i travalled alone.

Nice accommodation at a nice spot in the middle of singapore. Clean and comfy beds and pretty space. Will come again.

Amazing shared spaces. Quite possibly the finest downstairs space of any hostel going. Alas the rooms with up to 20 people can get a bit anonymous. The shower / toilet combo units are also a bit small. If you can get a good price this is for sure a place to check out.

Amazing hostel !! I switched after having a terrible experience at River City Inn, and I couldn't be happier. Nice staff, extremely clean, private beds with curtains, large storage lockers and free towels provided. Highly recommend!!

This hostel is really good. I would love to stay here if I visit Singapore again. It's good for sole stays as well as in group. Ambience is peaceful with coffee and tea available 24 hrs. There is Hindu temple nearby too. The site is amazing. Just opposite to this building, there is China Town where you can get very tasty street food. Night time is wonderful.

Good value for money, splendid location, comfortable and clean rooms with much needed privacy.
Stayed here for three (3) nights total in the vault room.
First night was difficult as everything and everyone was unfamiliar. It was made a little easier thanks to the friendly and helpful staff (Rozy) who pointed out the best places to eat etc.
Staff are here 24hrs, and even when I woke up sneezing at 4am I was able to get their help in adjusting the air conditioning. Overall, my stay here has been agreeable and I've even made a friend or two.
Would definitely consider a second stay.

Stayed in king suite cabin. Space is big for a capsule hostel. Being placed in the buildings 2 shops house away from the reception. No lift. Stayed in 4th floor. The cabin can feel bit warm after climbing up 4 flight of stairs. Toilet is small. Location of the hotel is great.

Application of no activities of unpacking between 10pm to morning really helps to prevent certain unwanted noise. Location wise, perfect (near MRT Chinatown). Clean and there is toilet for ladies at the Female-only Bunk. During my check in, The receptionist handle one this fussy customer from Middle east professionally and calm. The bunk bed pretty impressive and spacious, and there is your own locker if you are at the top bunk bed. Will definitely recommend this to anyone.

The staffs are friendly and professional. It is near center city, chinatown food street with delicious dishes and acceptable price, especially for Vietnamese 😉

I stayed over the weekend for foo fighters during August 2017. There are 2 buildings and the reception is the one facing the road. The people are friendly and the decor is a mix of faux victorian chairs and furniture. So the hostel cubicles have 3 tiers and I stayed on the highest tier. If you have a fear of heights or rolling and falling over (the bunks are side entry) then ask them to change. Towels are provided but there is no place to hang except the hanger at the side. In the bunk itself, the lamp switch is on the bed head but the 3 pin plug is at the foot of the bed; so if you like to play with your devices as you sleep then you better have a longer charging cable. I find that with the 3 tier bunks there is so many people in there and if you get a violent snorer, you are in for some restless nights so bring ear plugs. The toilets are small, yes but I did not expect a luxurious toilet. The location is good and really near everything else, with that said what else is there to expect? Happy travels.

Lovely hostel in a brilliant location. Staff were very friendly and the common areas are relaxing and interesting places to relax. Bathrooms and dormitories are clean. Would definitely recommend

Excellent experience.
I arrived tired and sick. There was an issue with there system causing a double booking, within 10 minutes I was upgraded to a better room than paid for.
Very helpful and happy staff.
Best breakfast I've had in a hostel. Buffet - eggs, sossages, fruit, toast cereal.
This is my first google review, but thought it worth the effort as I want to help good businesses like these guys stay in business.
Thanks for a great experience!

Clean, good location and comfortable dorms. Bathrooms are also spacious enough. Front desk staff are also friendly and willing to help out

Probably the best hostel I've stayed in. Very modern and comfortable. The cubicles feel like a private room with plenty of storage room. The location is perfect too
Ahmed Chishti (26/04/2017 09:04)
The rates were justified. Super fast Wifi is provided. It is locarted just 2-3 meters away from bus stop. Main attractions including Merlion are on walking distance

The best poshtel I've stayed in. The air-conditioning is always on full blast to beat the Singapore heat and if it gets too cold the blankets are thick and fluffy. Great place to stay in SG.

Stayed here for 4 nights on my back from backpacking in Europe, and it has to be the best hostel I have ever stayed at!
Rooms were clean and well presented, VERY affordable price, comfortable beds, hotel like shared bathrooms, and top it off free breakfast!
The location is great as Club Street is directly behind the hostel (I never heard any noise from the bars or pubs at night apart from general traffic) and Chinatown is across the road.
Will definitely be staying here again.

Fair prices for drinks, solid internet, power plugs, quiet music. Overall a great place to work!
Matt Cosic (18/02/2017 06:57)
Ridiculously overpriced!!!
The place is nicely designed, but after all I slept in a 16 bed dorm with lots of noise. Earplugs were displayed on the pillow and also a bottle of water. Bathrooms are quite dark. Worst part was the breakfast experience. Considering the amount of 60SG$ they use mainly one way plastic bowls, spoons and cups.No knives, no napkins. When I asked why I should leave the wax paper on the plate the waitress responded that they were short staffed and have to save time on the washing up of the plastic plates. I stay now around the corner for 17$ with a similar breakfast with 6 people in an AC cooled room that is even quieter. I cannot understand the positive reviews about this place.

Great location. Near mrt, maxwell food court, walk to all central Singapore areas. Generally a good place to stay on a budget and if you don't mind hostel vibe. Clean, simple, smart. Stayed about 6 times already

Feels like a hotel when you check in and at breakfast with the nice amenities. The bed was comfortable and nice having the locker inside your bed space. I slept well. Staff were friendly and helpful. Watch out for 5% surcharge when paying by card...

Good location, nice fancy hostel. Double bed room great if your able to snag it for cheaper then usual $100. Showers/bathroom bit on the small side. Easy for dry clothes to get drenched. Great small selection of free breakfast goodies/tea/coffee in morning to get you started for the day before attacking local cuisine.
Bryan Surya Lumadjeng (20/07/2016 21:56)
The room was very clean, location is close to chinatown MRT and the service was perfect.

Singapore's first luxury hostel. Affordable accommodation in the heart of china town. The staff were super friendly and the beds were comfy. The air-con in the room was a refreshing blast coming home everytime after a hot a humid Singapore day out.

Superb "poshtel" for "flashpackers." More expensive than most hostels, but cheaper than a hotel room.
The cabin bunk concept is well done & makes for a comfortable stay. Best breakfast I've had at any hostel.
