Update: the company was proactive and called to salvage the situation. The manager was apologetic and offered to replace the power adapter. I've already went ahead to buy one but I hardly thought a SME would bother about a Google review. I'm glad they did and for them trying to make the situation right, I would change this to a 4 star rating.
To the manager, I have decided to leave the previous feedback there because it was really what I experienced. I think the process can be improved and hope it does.
Previous review: The guy who implemented my NAS based security cameras was great! But service support is so so so poor. One of the cameras failed and after troubleshooting myself, I realised its because the power adapter got fried. I sent both camera and adapter after a lot of back and forth with service support stating for them to check both camera and adapter. They said... Sorry, will take 6-8 weeks! Then suddenly they said I can get the stuff back. Upon trying to power up, realised they only checked the camera. Calling them up is like pulling teeth. They draw lines everywhere, saying they are only responsible for the camera... Even tho they provided the whole system. The solution would be... Of course to go buy an over priced adapter from them.
If you have a heart for supporting SMEs, go ahead... But pray you never need any kind of support help!!
