Good. Efficient purchase system. Though limited seating area

Nice laksa, but portion is rather small for the price and laksa soup can be hotter.

This is an outpost of the famed mother ship in Katong. Just as good and without the hassle of having to find parking in a crowded Katong side streets. The usual suspects are on all on the menu here, and I recommend a bowl of laksa with red cockles with a side of two thick slices of fish otah. Slurping is encouraged, let your eyes roll back into your head, enjoy your moment of nirvana and slowly return to reality. Then pick yourself up stroll next door for a Tai Cheong egg tart and you'll see why perhaps being alive in Singapore is the best thing in the world!

What a place! Great food! great service! The Laksa is almost as good as the one I ate on my trip to Penang last year, where I helped for a few charities here and there which were aiming to raise money for poor families. The main money raiser was a triathlon, in which I managed to scrape second place. Great food and great place for a good evening with the boys.

(Pardon the cliche but) It can't beat the original, in Katong itself. It's a decent bowl of laksa nonetheless, just that you might find cheaper elsewhere. Tends to be a little crowded during weekday lunch.
