The fine dining of desserts - the price is not for the faint hearted. If you do not have a sweet tooth, you will experience the same satisfaction in other less expensive establishments. As a big fan of desserts however, this place is a must try.

Janice combines various rare ingredients to bring out the best flavour of the desserts. We ordered Cacao Forest and the Brie Gorgonzola Cheese Cake. Both did not disappoint in terms of taste and presentation.

Service was excellent but that was due to us occupying the whole place. Therefore, we could easily get the attention of the waitresses.

TLDR 2am:dessertbar brings the mix of ingredients and taste of desserts a level above the other usual dessert eateries. The price would deter one from visiting.

I love this place.. It is very out of box.. They serve experimental desserts that you cannot find anywhere else.. Chef Janice Wong is extremely talented 👌🏻 Highly recommended

Innovative desserts that taste great on their own, but brought to another level by their alcohol pairing! Their all time favourite is their chocolate tart with sorbet (they tried to take it off the menu a few times but always brought back by popular demand). Savoury/tapas options are more limited but really expect to come here and be blown away by the dessert options

We were greeted with a "no slippers" policy and reminded of the minimum spend upon arrival. My wife was turned away despite wearing a full length dress covering her feet. Poor customer service to match the stale ambience.

Dessert wasn't especially stunning, but the price was still high. I find the green tea dessert wasn't that great, however my friends enjoyed their dessert, so the tiramisu might be pretty good. Drinks are really expensive, so I think just go here for the desserts.
Overall, decent place with quite nice ambiance, but I find my dessert wasn't that great.

Lovely and inspiring desserts even for the price. For chocolate lovers the chocolate H2O is a must. Very cozy with sofa seating

Beautiful and delicious desserts. Each dessert on the menu has a recommended wine pairing that you can opt for. Wait staff was very sweet to give us a complementary plate with a candle and some chocolates etc when she heard that it was my birthday.

This place is perfect for late night catch-ups with some friends. I love the fact that the servers would always explain what the dish is all about once they serve it to you. Everything that I have tried on the menu so far did not disappoint. Highly recommended.

It was a lovely place with a nice ambience and wonderful service. Perfect for date nights and celebrating that special occasion. I had the Chocolate Tart with Salted Caramel and Blood Orange Sorbet. Good mix of flavours and went extremely went with the recommended choice of wine. That's another thing about this place. They provide drink pairings which can save time deciding on a dessert and a drink.

If you like desserts, and alcohol, and you're in Singapore, you MUST go to this dessert bar. True to its name, and unlike a lot of places in Singapore, open till 2 am.

Nice place to chill with friends. They serve good drinks and the open till quite late too.

Fun concept, not great execution. Good spot to drink late though.

2am dessert bar has definitely gone down in its allure. It is a shame really as it was one of the finest dessert restaurants in Singapore. I have been going to the dessert place since 2008 and it has been a landmark, occupying the same place it did for all these years. Today, I went to the restaurant and had its boozy hot chocolate and a summer spread of lime ice cream, lime jelly and gin foam which came pretty poorly presented and tasted rather dismal. The ice cream was frozen. The jelly was a round sheet of rubbery mass laid on top of the ice cream and the gin foam tasted of mosquito repellent. The hot chocolate for which the restaurant was known for, almost tasted like dish water. It was a huge let down from what used to be an experience to remember back in 08.

Nice ambience. Cool desserts and an awesome place altogether. Definitely worth a trip down for that late night cravings for churros.

A great place for fancy dessert. A little on the expensive side but it's worth it for the interesting desserts and paired cocktails. It can be busy on weekend nights so, call ahead.

Come here with an open mind about their dessert. The individual components taste amazing by themselves, but im sure they're not meant to be mixed together. Very novel experience but it didnt make me want to come back again.

Arjun Rao (15/06/2017 16:16)
Janice Wong is a legend amongst us mere mortals. And Endrea, who manages the restaurant is an absolute gem. The best desserts this part of the world in my opinion.

Nishant Nair (08/06/2017 11:57)
Nice place for interesting dessert options after dinner. A bit pricy but really nice desserts!

TheGal Travels (26/05/2017 16:51)
If you like art this is the place to go. Great looking desserts though for what you pay you could have a proper meal. Thought the chocolate tart was nice.

The dessert hit the spot! Absolutely loved it! Best of all? It satisfy your sweet cravings until 2am!

Shades of Green is a must try! Love the place and ambience too. Would give 5 stars if the staff can be a little more friendly.

Shannon Er (03/04/2017 09:19)
Good customer service but two of what we wanted were sold out by 10pm, which was pretty disappointing. The staff was polite and helpful. Quite pricey and the standard was OK. Some combinations of flavour just didn't work out for me. Good to visit once and probably that's it.

Colin Kwan (26/03/2017 14:37)
Dont believe the hype!!! Pretentious, Expensive and didnt taste very good. The desserts here are just molecular for the sake of being cool and fancy. The cocktails here are awful and taste like medicine!

Sanjeev Gupta (15/03/2017 14:19)
Nice place, not too loud. Good service. Shout out to Sarah behind the bar, thank you.

Dirk-Jan van Veen (03/03/2017 19:43)
Don't take the citrus cube. feel cheated paying 23 dollars for 5 spoons worth of food. Taste original but not impressive. Ambiance quite nice.

PS C (30/01/2017 15:29)
Tried the cacao forest. Mousse was half frozen, corn was not fresh. Coffee was good.

Brenda Tan (20/01/2017 07:36)
Love the desserts with nice plating! Great for late night decent dessert hunting place! Innovative table made of colourful chocolate.

Evanezer Cedric (10/09/2016 15:29)
our local queen of desserts. the desserts here are a whole new class of its own. delicately arranged and thoughtfully created. each individual components are placed to compliment and elevate the entire dish. definitely worth a try if you're in the area.

Too expensive for the quality / taste of food served. The staffs were quite rude too. Liked their selection of wine and neat ambience.

Beng Keong Chew (19/09/2016 17:08)
Nice combo of dessert, finger food and alcohol! Tiramisu and popcorn chicken are musr tries.

I am a huge lover of desserts, and coming from the UK we have a colossal range of very good ice creams, cakes, chocolates, sweets, so I'm spoilt.

I wanted something similar, but in the Singapore style (and not traditional desserts like ice kachang etc). I am very happy to have found 2am Dessert Bar.

A lot of love has gone into the presentation of the desserts and cocktails ad both taste very good. The quality of the ingredients is top notch, but as a lover of virtually anything sweet, I have tried much. While I did enjoy what I ordered, it somehow didn't hit the spot. the flavours (desserts) just didn't have as much depth or richness that I wanted. I'd describe them as not too dynamic on the palate.

The cocktails were great, though I'd had better at the same price. Price - I feel the desserts are too costly for what you receive. While good, they aren't fine dining desserts, though I believe (could be wrong?) that these are among the best in Singapore. The price would stop me coming back unless it was a special day. I would like to give this place a 3.5 (which isn't possible on google) but can't award a 4 solely because of the price (which is the equivalent of 8/10). So, unfortunately will have to settle for a 3.

Very refined desserts and well thought out and executed dining concepts! Definitely worth a second visit...

Ferry Gondo (12/04/2016 15:20)
Had a very long wait. I thought it was going to be the best dessert of my life. The cassis plum was so sour though, and the chocolate cake was average. A quite fun place to throw away dollar if the moment is suffice, otherwise better save it for other alternatives.

Ali Chua (13/03/2016 01:26)
Pros are that the place is extremely cozy and the things they serve are of decently high quality. The many different flavors across various offerings make it very accomodating. The servers are also very patient in explaining the various palettes that you're supposed to be experiencing, albeit they mumble very quickly and can afford to slow down.

Cons, however, would perhaps be the price point for desserts. Each plate ranges upwards of $15, and if you intend to order multiple plates to try, plus wines, plus tax, your bill can amount to quite a sum, just for desserts.

Mei Eng (01/02/2016 02:06)
By celebrity chef Janice wong. Tasty :) price range frm $15 for a plate of dessert. Ps: pls improve your toilet, its such a nice dessert restaurant dont let the toilet ruin it.

Yeow Jianhao (08/01/2016 01:29)
Very cozy dessert placed that was opened by an award winning dessert chef Janice. They sell very specially crafted desserts and pair them with hand-picked wines. You can have just the dessert, that's fine. But to get a more immersive experience, you could just trust the chefs there to send you on a tour of your taste buds. The waiters also explain what each dish is made of, what you can expect, and how you should proceed with eating first. Very detail oriented and definitely worth pointing out.

Ambience is very fine dining / romantic and err more on the upscale end, but can definitely be used to hold corporate events or gatherings. Will be relatively pricey even though it may just be desserts.
