Just arrived after scuba this morning. Lunch first then the grounds.Editing after the fact. Have some comments but better left unsaid? The reviews are pretty good. I have a typical issues about pricing and service, which I need to work on a bit or sort out more.

Beautiful and big water garden. You can rest, take a boat ride or rent a cycling raft, admire the flowers, arcades and fountains. There are a lot of stairs if you want to reach the upper part... entrance fee was 50000 idr per person in 2018. See the pics:

An interesting place to stop along the coast as you make your way around. Organized, friendly, well kept. It was statues in a pond and nice gardens, what can I say.

One of my favourite places in Bali. Nice big park with palaces and pagodas, tranquility place, calm and relax. Local usually use the park for running, but as tourist you can also buy the swan-boat and ride the lake around.
If you are willing to have excellent view from top of the hill, climb several steps and you will get breathtaking view of surrounded area. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place worth a visit. Parking is 2000,- and entrance is 15000,- (if I remember correctly). There is a large garden with remarkable art and two large ponds with lots of fish. The palace is small but has some interesting art inside. The higher lookout is beautiful

Big garden with big pools and old buildings and staircases. It's pretty beautiful, IMHO not very special. It's just a big garden. The ticket is 50k, which is pretty high in Bali, and from what I heard they will also charge extra 50k for DSLR, that is just greedy. Can anyone confirms? This is my first time knowing a tourist attraction site in Bali charge for bringing a camera. I advise to visit the garden in the morning or afternoon.

Nice place to see, nice gardens, very clean, nice view from the top. I would recommend to go there and see it. Only this duck-boats on main pond where strange and those not fit into this place, it is Royal Palace after all.

In old times, if you want to monitor and control Lombok, this is a key point. You will experience a different and more western construction style here. Local people like the place and sometimes you will see a group of local students having party near the water. Enjoy. Oh, you need buy a ticket, which is a bit more expensive than locals. That's all right :)

the park area is available with a lot of space, please tip the parking boy around Rp 5.000 for car. there is an entrance ticket but I forgot how much. prepare an umbrella in case of a sudden rain. go circle the lake and hike the stairs, enjoy the view and keep polite during your visit. do climb the wall or gate, please behave. and read the history inside the building, best photo spot is in uphill and the bridge by the building. love this place! worth to stop by

If you are on this side of the island, this place was unbelievably beautiful! I highly recommend stopping by. the photos were great, with beautiful architecture, plants and history.
Liberty Bev (01/10/2017 15:12)
Its far from other tourist spots. Drive 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic to reach this place. If you like architectural places with water effect and huge and spacious gardens, youll like ujung.
Peter Williams (09/09/2017 12:21)
Nice water palace that you can explore in your own time. Can hire a pedal boat out to feed the fish in one section. 50k IDR entry fee but worth it for the views and tranquility.

Well this place have a very good view and some historical knowledge. But nothing else to do beside taking pictures.
Note: they will charge you for camera, so better just bring your smartphone
Andrew Petrie (23/07/2017 04:58)
An historic palace in beautiful well kept grounds, much less busy than sites in the centre off the island.
This place is a photographers dream with the reflective pools and backdrops.
Aldwin NI (06/07/2017 15:43)
really wonderful place.
• Huge walk and jogging park, hardly crowded
• a well-maintened and litterless area
• Maintened grasses and lake
• Fishes and unique land-birds(?)
• Provide fishes food for a reasonable cheap price
• You may feed the fishes until they get fat!
• Good way to boost your happiness and for couples!
• There is no annoying locals targeting tourists
• Well-elevated area for sightseeing the place
• Surprisingly worth it as you can spend hours here relaxing if you wanted to

Nice palace to visit in eastern Bali from Candidasa.you can stroll along the nice paths inside the park.A large waterbody is inside and a beautiful palace is there just at the middle of waterbody.many view towers are there surrounding the waterbody from where a great view of the surrounding mountains can be seen.
thepatrashand limanpatra (02/07/2017 07:24)
Good historic place. Many things to learn but not much else to do. It's far from the airport and I suggest anyone willing to visit this place to also arrange the trip to several tourism spot around it or on the same direction to it.
Arne Theuerkauf (17/06/2017 10:57)
Nice place for having a relxing walk and let the environment disconnect your mind. Entrance fee is IDR 50000.
You can get some food outside as well, but don't expect something too impressive.
Ardian A (05/06/2017 07:50)
Large ponds surrounding the palace. Kids love the fishes and fountains. I like the walkway in the middle of a pond.
anik tini (21/04/2017 12:02)
Really very nice place
I love its
Quiet and natural view
Some ppl used that place for pre wedding
Coz the building is still natural from king of karangasem
Herry Sucahya (18/04/2017 12:44)
A clean, well maintained historical palace. The atmosphere was quite relaxing. Just beware if you carry a DSLR Camera, they will give an extra charge around 50k or more. Even for a professional photoshoot session will cost a whopping 1 million rupiahs or more here.
G Friedman (15/03/2017 10:53)

Long time ago I was here, and still the old ruins, today they already renovate and become a very famous place to take a photos, usually local people have a pre wedding here, good spot and really beautiful scene....
Going here now much easier via the bypass road.
I don't know if the renovation is real like old days from history or they just make it out from their fantasy. But after all everything is pretty good, when I come there's local people put a carpet on the grass field and have a lunch from their food storage, what a mess.....
I suggest you visit this place early in the morning or afternoon, because at 11am to 02pm it's quite hot. Pay 15.000,- rupiah per person for ticket entrance

Taman Ujung, a place from which you can see the blue ocean of east Bali as well as the majestic Mount Agung and the surrounding rice terraces and expansive lush rolling hills.
Shu Foster (02/10/2016 11:40)
This palace was quiet and an easy wander. We were taken to there by a local taxi, a unexpected visit really, we enjoyed sitting in the pergola situated in the middle of one of the lacks. There was a small range of the old kingdom's pictures on the wall, it was interesting to see the old living.

A very gorgeous park, with some pool and lake, with the beach view. This is actually a historical palace back then. The ticket is very cheap. Although it's a bit far from Denpasar, but worth visiting.
