Mt Bisbis or Mt Lempuyang has one of the oldest Hindu temple in Bali. It can be reached from Tribuana Village, Abang District, Kr Asem. Pura Luhur Lempuyang which sits on the summit of this mountain, is one of the popular destination for religious pilgrimage destination. However, the Pura Penataran Agung Lempuyang situated at the foot of the mountain is more picturesque and better known for tourism location. You have to wear a sarong to enter this sacred compound which has 6 temples totally. The trail path is good (although quite dirty and unmanaged) and the view from top is walled up by vegetation. From top, you can see the Karang Asem district and Lombok Strait. To rent sarong, it costs IDR 10k plus a donation.
