I took the PADI freediver course here. Very personalized training going at your pace. Really helped me to master the basics. Sam was able to break down the different aspects of freediving into simple easy to practice portions and then from there combine them into the full experience. A really great experience.

Freediving with Fathom is shifting limits with pleasure and fun.
Truly professional approach, no hassle, well organized. What makes this experience unique and very special is that with Sam you never have this feeling of commercial mass production. With Fathom you aren't just customer, you are friend, part of a family.
Sam is a great instructor in all aspects: coaching, encouraging, he makes you develop your confidence and reveal and develop your hidden abilities. He focuses not only on physics, but also on ability to control mind, which is a paramount in freediving.
The place is great - clean and warm water, wrecks and environment truly for diving fans. Freediving is not just sport - full mind control, peaceful environment and connection with ocean can shift paradigm of your personality and help you to look at world from different perspective. Very strong experience with good people and great professionals. We will be back to go deeper in ocean and in our thought.

I booked a last minute trip from Australia to Bali to complete my level 2 and 3 courses. Over 7 days working in a small class with only one other student I was able to break 36m. Later in the week when I was doing my level 3 it was just solo with my instructor. I really didn't expect to be so lucky. Not only did Fathom help my improve my overall time under water but also smash some targets i never thought of possible. On our last day of level 2 we did statics, I was able to break my old record by 20 seconds with coming up at 4:20. Then on our last day of level 3 we returned to statics, I was able to do 5:40. I have to thank my instructor for providing the right temperament and instruction to allow such large gains in performance.
My only words of advice is if you want to focus on depth do not book levels 2 and 3 back to back. I found that on day 5 I was struggling with fatigue, still breaking PBs but really had to make sure I kept a strict routine of dive, eat, sleep, repeat.
If you want a personal experience in a great location dive with Fathom.
