Amazing fairytale place! Hidden gem, not crowded, peaceful, well taken care off with fantastic details, architecture, great location, nature and scenery. Beautiful cows walking around and a friendly curious goose! Fun huge swing with the ocean view! Recommended cocoa products and cosmetics!

Very cute place, real hot chocolate and cute swings to take pictures with.

Not worth the drive. Dirty unkept and drab. Very unlike other must see places. Unfriendly staff and I doubt they make anything there. Soap shop appalling.

To find the location you have to be carefull. Please use google map if need guideline.

Not recomended to go to this place. Nothing to see and enjoy. Just beach with black sand. No sell food, just sell chocolate in cup with price Rp. 35.000,-/cup.

Definitely not worth it, very disappointing.. gravel road to get there and the place was drab, and looked unkept, however each to their own.

Spent a really happy day there. The swing and the goose make this a special place. The owner is nice to talk to as well. Of course, they have amazing chocolate there

Not worth it at all. Nothing interesting here. Very nice beach, a lot of palm trees, blue water, but don't expect too much from the "factory"

Dirt street's wellcoming your way to go there. But, the view is very nice n you paying only idr 10k

It's a place for enjoying moments with family or close friends and group. Complete with outdoor activities and selfie of course or just chit chat and enjoying your chocolate drinks.

Its not really comfort because the accesway is so bad, small n its a landroad .. hard to find the direction.. Sedan car doesnt recommend to pass this road.. there are not much activities we can see and doing there... so far from my expectation.

Not so good ignored and no chocolate. Go to uforia, they gave us a nice tour and we were able to buy loads of chocolate.
Antok Frans (16/04/2017 07:36)
...small scale 'chocolate' factory, bad road access (from main road), and small sign.
If you use Charlys Chocolate in Google Maps, you will follow the wrong direction and ended in some villas just located in the east of the "factory" ;-((...

Its name is Chocolate Factory, but nothing to see here but the sea and coconut trees. There are 3 giant swings, a ship-shape building, and some empty buildings. Not worth going, but the view is beautiful.
Eliza Jinata (17/01/2017 16:34)
The road to the "factory" was a dirt road and flooded in rainy days. It's difficult to find and most visitors would end up going to the wrong, nicer road which ends up at a beach.
If you plan to visit, follow the direction to "Charlie Chocolate Factory" and follow hand written signs from there on dirt road. You have to pay expensive parking fee too.
Visitors are forced to buy 10k soap bar to enter the facility which has nothing. There were only 3 swings and some empty buildings under construction. There was no food, no drinks, no chocolate at all. The staff didn't try to show us anything or offer any menu. The only time they approached us was when we had to buy the soap. Not worth going.

The swings by the beach were great fun, and we loved the organic dark chocolate, especially the Bali version of nutella. Yum. 🌴👍😃

A beach, shady coconut trees, a wooden boat, some swings, chocolate drinks... a very tropical vibes. But it couldn't live up the hype I saw from internet. The place was surprisingly small. The chocolate factory presentation were also lacking. Should be better in the future.
