" Secluded, picturesque white sandy beach. Probably the best on the isle of Bali. A must see. Challenging to get to, old tourist charm with a beach bar and a few shacks that serve up local dishes. "

" Excellent spot. Many snorkelling spots around here. A true gem spot and a must visit in Padangbai! Great local food stalls. Fresh fish. Friendly staff and wonderful tanning spots. "

" A great beach on the SE coast of Bali. Not crowded, beautiful sand, local vendors to keep you nourished, white sand for tender feet, turquoise water much like the Caribbean. A perhaps 200m path with descent which is about typical in Bali. If I would say anything negative, I’d mention the garbage washing up on shore and behind the vendor stalls, but not so bad that it bothered us. Vendors will rent you beds, loungers, chez, gear, and provide cold Bintang and typical beach meals etc. Great times! "

" Bias Tugel Beach is a small bay with a 130 meter stretch of white sand just south of the busy Padangbai Harbour. The bay offers a tranquil scene that is made possible by a long and narrow headland that obscures it from the hubbub of the nearby port. You can easily reach the beach via a short trek past the cape from the main road. A beautiful seascape with calm blue waves, rock pools and golden sand with streaks of volcanic black awaits. There are also local vendors selling snacks, cold beers and parasols along this stretch of the coast. "

" This is named "white sand beach".
When you go there, be ready to walk down from jungle like place.
Once you here the waves, you'll know you're nearly there.

The place is simple and beautiful.
The sand is so fine and white.
The water is clean and clear.
And, waves are really strong.

There's no business establishments around but there's a local store selling drinks and meals.
You should bring your own towel for sunbathing if you don't want to rent a bench.

Entrance is Rp20 for each person.

I love the place.

P.s please don't bring plastics and leave it there. The place is beautiful. Help preserve it as it is now. "

" There are some people guarding a boom gate at the top who charge you for access, we paid 10,000 for 2 people on one motorbike. The beach is pretty nice and you can snorkel off the sand and around the rocks where you will see plenty of fish. Swim out into the deep if you are avoid enough swimmer and there is some nice reef. If you are hungry you can eat at one of the many small beach restaurants "

" This is actually Bias Tugel beach but it's sign posted as White Sand Beach, and is duplicated on Google maps as "Secret Beach".

Lovely beach, wasn't busy when we went in March, there was plenty of space. It's picturesque, and access is walking only. There is a pair of tracks which go through the hills to the beach, both have steep stepped sections.

There area pair of Warungs offering beach gear and loungers for rent, drinks, food etc.

When we were there, the water was calm, small waves only, great for swimming. Snorkeling is great, tons of colourful fish and some coral, even close to shore.

There was a fair bit of rubbish sunken in the water, and on the sides of the tracks to the beach, but that's typical of Bali beaches sadly. "

" A truly secret beach. You have to walk for 10 minutes to get there. Several places to relax on the beach and get a foot massage or a beer 🍺. Beach is a little dirty because of the people, water is cristal clear with luck and some snorkel you can dive and see several fish 🐠, we found a dragon 🐉 fish. "

" Pristine white sand without any resorts. The access there was not as developed as those in Nusa Dua but the terrain was smoother. 50k for lounge rent. "

" Super nice beach with a sand seabed. The waves are very strong at points literally putting you down. The restaurants here are very good, especially the last one (can't remember the name) - had an amazing curry there! "

" Best Hidden beach ! Blue ocean, white sand and very private. Beware of big waves while you're swimming. Not much of visitor here but that what makes it the best :) not too crowded like other. "

" Legend has it that it jinx when you come with your partner :) Getting here can be quite challenging, not recommended if you have weak knees. Parking too is a bit of a problem with cars. Magnificent white sandy beach. "

" Nice and relaxing. Cool little walk off to the right side before you go left to the beach. Takes you down some crazy stairs to a small hidden beach under the mountain. "

" Away from the tourist areas, great local food (BBQ fish is excellent) at very reasonable prices. There's an entrance/parking fee but 10000 IDR.(60p) is pretty good for all day! Beautiful sand, great for snorkelling once you get past the waves. It's a shallow beach (1-2m depth) for about 30m with rocks and a sandy bed. Quite a few fish around and the occasional turtle too. "

" Bias Tugel means piece of beach, because this beach is not so big, surrounding by a rock hills and somewhat difficult to access.

Just drive your car to Padang Bai harbor, and at the end of the entrance gate to the ferry (to Lembar, Lombok), you'll see a road on the right, drive through that road, and at the junction ask people there, or take left, narrow road reach to the end of the beach entrance. Remember, if you use car, then when you reach the end of the road, you can't turn your car, because there's structure building wall at the left and right of the road, so you must backtrack until you reach the building with a black paint on the gate, then you can turn around your car......

There's ticket entrance but very cheap, organized by local people. They'll tell you to follow the path. This beach is not popular beach, but real worth to enjoy. Follow the path, it's very quiet, maybe only a few people come here everyday. Walk until you see the sign that said "Bias Tugel" with an arrow point you to the left, you'll see a abandon gate...

If you don't want to turn left, then just go straight, walk in the small path of the back of building structure until you reach the dead end, you'll see damage stairs down to the ocean, full of rock, not recommended for elder people, it's dangerous because if something goes wrong, maybe nobody will hear you scream, it's so lonely....don't go there when it tide.....

Back to the damaged entrance gate before, go to through the entrance and you'll walk in the small path that will lead you down to the white sand beach of Bias Tugel. Beware of the path, it's slippery with sand, pretty tiring for old people, so I don't suggest for them. The beach very beautiful, you can relax on the beach, there's daybed you can rent, or just swim as long as you want.......watch the ferry from the beach, some fishing boat, nice......

Go there before some greedy company take over all the attraction, it can be predict because there are concrete wall with structure everywhere, even it's like abandon for ages.... "

" Nice enough beach about 30 minute walk from waterfront at Padangbai.
A couple of challenging hills made special by Indonesian children on their day off and a couple of random requests for photos and an interview.
We were at the beach before 8 and it was clean water and beach is about 250 metres long. Did not swim so cannot attest to the water conditions but other reviewers have said it has strong currents.
Well worth the walk to meet the kids and chat to the locals "

" The nicest Beach I've seen in Bali. Long, nice sand, great color of the water, completely clean. However, big waves. I've seen a turtle in the afternoon.
Access to the beach is not easy and if you come by road they'll even request 10k entrance fee. If you walk here, take the shortcut from the main road, there's a sign.
There are plenty of restaurants with reasonable prices so no need to bring food.
Warning! Please be very careful if you're planning to snorkel or swim here. During my stay a guy went snorkeling and didn't come back. So sad. "

" Beautiful beach, though access tough but it is worth it. For snorkeling I recommend Blue Lagoon beach, not so much current and more corals. "

" Beach looks ok, has several warungs, but the water is full of garbage.
The trail is slippery so have good shoes in order to get here. Also don't trust the google to navigate you outside the main road. "

" A quiet and bit hidden white sand beach. Decently clean. Not the best spot for snorkeling as the waves can get pretty big and you have to go a ways out for any spot the fish could be living. But good for playing in the waves and laying on the beach.

If you come from the parking lot and go down the stairs take the metal door you'll pass on the left to get to the beach. If you continue down the stairs you'll end up in a cove. Pretty nice but not your destination!

An out house/bathroom is available for 5000 IDR. "

" Nice beach, but be wary of very strong riptides. Can get rough, enough to sweep you off your feet and drag you along the shore! Lots of fun if you are careful :-) "

" Lots of rubbish from the moment you turn off the road to walk around 400m to the beach. The beach itself is fairly nice and relatively clean considering how close it is to the harbour. "
