" Bali Rafting at Telaga Waja river is an incredible beautiful trip. You want to go through nature, enjoy waterfalls, canyons and enjoy fresh air? This is the trip to take. Although it is called extreme for Bali, it is not extreme nor dangerous. We were a party of three: 55 (male), 53 and 14 yr old (both ladies) and although we have rafted several times before, we are not overly 'experienced'. This river is almost a constant (at times rapid) stream so peddling (when needed) is mostly about steering the boat. You get wet but that is fun in this climate (we are from North Europe). The trip lasted about 3 hrs, including a stop where you can buy a drink and take great pictures at a waterfall. The guide was really taking care about safety and well being. Tip 1: if possible bring watershoes instead of slippers. You can buy them at start point. There are times you need to get out the boat and shoes gives you more stability. Tip 2: hire a photographer like we did. He will join you on the trip in a seperate canoe and take great pictures whilst peddling through nature and rapids. He provides a CD with lots of pictures whilst you enjoy a lunch at the end of the trip.

" This is not rafting, you will be going down a small and narrow stream with just a lot of boulders. After 5 minutes you will just be frustrated as you won't pick up any speed. They say the raft will go be for around 1,5 hours, in reality it's 40 minutes. And afterwards you will have a pretty bad lunch and not fresh at all!

The only nice about it is the scenery, but then do a trek instead!This is just a rip-off and false advertising, I would never recommend anyone to do this! "

" Experience rafting with dramatic scenery! Rafting was 2 hours long followed by free lunch. Our driver told us this is the best rafting place in Baki and it didn’t disappoint us. Besakih temple is quite close to this place you can plan both together. "

We stopped at a beautiful waterfall, snapped some awesome photos and enjoyed some drinks! Would absolutely do it again! "

" We booked through an agent from the street for 600k IDR for both of us including pick up from the hotel and drop which was an hour and half away ride. You have an option to have a morning raft at 8 or 12 afternoon. We picked the afternoon and it was AMAZING. I recommend two in a boat rather than 4 or 3. It's much more comfort and makes it easy . We had "maadi" or " mehdi" he has been doing this everyday twice for 7 years without a day off. He knows each and every stone . We never got stuck and we didn't have to paddle. Lovely jungle experience and nature . It was my first time and I was scared but it tinted our to be really fun and not scary "

We were a bit naive and got scammed . It was a good learning experience dealing with scammers you'll meet across activities around the island. One cannot expect honesty from this establishment. I'd recommend finding other rafting organizers for this extraordinary adventure. "

" We booked our rafting trip from Seminyak. I would not recommend booking this trip from Seminyak because you spend most of your time in the car. We were driving for 4 1/2 hours. Also, do not go during dry season, since there is not enough water in the river.
06 June 2017When the seller recommended it, my husband said that he had heard that rafting was not good in the dry season because there was not enough water. The seller said that was not true and we were ignorant enough to believe him. He did give us a decent price (450,000 Rp per person), although we found out that some people in our group paid less. They seem to base the pricing on your nationality!
The water is truly low, almost feels like you're floating in a bathtub with big rocks and the raft gets stuck every 20 seconds. OK for the first 90 minutes, but very frustrating after 3 hours. The views are nice, but the river itself is quite dirty and trashy.
Changing room was tiny and crowded. Lunch was low-quality and did not taste fresh.
Tour said we would be picked up by 8- 8:30 and dropped off at 3 pm. We were picked up late (almost 9) and not dropped off until 5:30 pm. It took up basically an entire day, and we were left feeling disappointed. "
