This is the worst experience of White water rafting we have ever had. After it being recommended to us through an agent the experience is nothing like it was supposed to be.
It started with the pick up from our hotel, we had booked for 8 people , the transport that arrived late was only for 7 and we had to squash the group into the vehicle, for half an hour before we were loaded into separate vans.
We arrived at the location and without a word of a lie as soon as we arrived our guide was already apologising for the experience. He told us that river was not the same due to the volcano, at no stage this was told to us prior and instead we were treated to a makeshift river rafting experience where the guide was out of the boat pushing more than in the boat. An experience that was supposed to last 2 hours went for no more than 45 minutes. Before we left for the raftng we were asked about lunch, many of us order chicken and one ordered duck. The duck was dry and inedible, whereas the chicken looked good on the outside but was under cooked and pink on the inside.
To top it all off, they went to great lengths to take photo's along the rafting experience and were looking forward to seeing them and potentially buying them, only to be told that their data stick wasn't working.
All I can say is what a disaster, for anyone wanting to go rafting with this group, think again. They know very well the experience is not up to scratch but continue to charge full price!!!!! ALAM..........more like ALARMING

Literally the highlight of my Bali trip. We rowed down a winding path on a rainy morning and saw a beautiful side to the country. After an exhilarating ride down the river, we climbed up steep steps - easily the most I've worked out all year - and dug into a deliciously simple meal. I'd come back to Bali again and again for this wonderful experience.

Had a great experience with Alam. Booked from kuta streert. The bus picked us from the hotel. Once we arrived we changed our cloth in the changing cabins and kept our clean cloth in the bus and our valuable items were kept in a waterproof bag and secured to the tube. Once we finished with rafting the guide was at the other side in the restaurent and he had our clean cloth and provided a towel as well.

I booked this trip through agent on Kuta area. The rafting trip was running fantastic. We had amazing on the river with our friendly rafting guide. Passed some waterfall and last action we jump on 3 meters dam which exciting. Really recommended

Very clean waters, but the hight of the waterfall is only 4 mtrs. high.

Probably the best rafting in Bali and Sidemen, They offer breakfast, option for flying fox, big buffet with many food western and indonesian. The staff is pro and friendly.

River becomes dirtier the further you go. Rafts are poorly maintained. Lack of professionalism by most guides. Rest stop for guests after an hour did not include free refreshments. Guides tried to overcharge for libations. Food at the end was good and plentiful.

The rafting today was great since we had good rain last night. The scenery along the way was amazing. Our guide on the raft was superb. The food at the end was also great, a good variety and delicious.
A huge disapointment though was that there were not a single photo of our raft, as was promised in the advertisement and by our tour agent, MBA. All the other rafts received their photos. Even though we had to wait almost an hour before we started, we were told by the staff that we were the last boat and they did not take any photos of us.

Was a great expierence. It was not so exciting how i imagine it, but also not boring and the nature was more then words can say. Stuff was very friendly and helpful with english skills
