The view from our room was amazing, the pool areas have been so beautifully designed. The place is so close to the beach that we did our water sport activities right in front of the hotel. The breakfast buffet is exquisite. Had a great experience.

the hotel is a little old but can not fault the staff and the grounds are just beautiful. Great location for water sports or to take photos of the sunrise

We absolutely loved this beautiful hotel. The gardens and pool area's were delightful. The staff could not of been more helpful and friendly . we felt very well looked after. Would highly recommend.

Overall great. The free breakfast could of been better as there wasn't much available. Pools are pretty small but nicely done. You can tell the building is in need of renovation as several sections are falling apart unfortunately. They have 24 hour food service which is good. Delivered promptly and good tasty food. Our room was nice but bathroom was old. Bed was very big but not perfectly flat it was lower in middle.

Great resort. Only had trouble with their speed of wifi unless you’re at the lobby, however, you need to unplug anyway while on holiday. Lots of local or continental food selections for breakfast. Staffs are good & friendly, quick check in & out. Overall had a great time while staying here

It is situated very close to the beach and hence you have access to all the water sports activities. Resort is very nice with the interior reflecting all the traditional flavor.
It is as well a modern with all the amenities like gym, swimming pool and spa.
The staff is very well behaved. For food they have a restaurant called 'Tao' across the street which offers thai food mainly.
They also have a pool bar.
Resort is very nice and you will definitely love it. It is as well fits in your budget.
Note : in the morning buffet breakfast (complementary) they also have an Indian food corner in case you miss indian food.

Old, run down hotel in need of a total renovation.
My room was dingy and smelly.
It’s not on a beach either.
A shuttle bus will take you to a much nicer place called Mengiat beach.
Breakfast was very basic but the only saving grace was the people. They are so nice and genuinely friendly.
Take my advice and stay elsewhere!!!

A lovely resort but seems a little run down. It's obviously been around for a while with lovely gardens which have grown over time but some of the rooms definitely need a lick of paint and the ventilation system for some of the rooms smells damp. They were renovating some of the rooms which we were there so there is work being done but with being aware before you book. The grounds are massive au be prepared to walk to your room. There are two pools - one within the grounds and one across the road next to their Thai restaurant Tao and just set back from the beach.

I had never experienced such high standards of hospitality ever in my life. U ask for moon and they will serve it to your room with a smile. They opened a restaurant late at night just so that we could eat, served breakfast full meal even after 30 minutes of closing time in my room. Not to forget the beautiful Tao restaurant with a beach ahead of it. Amazing experience

Nice clean rooms, with a nice view, awesome pool, average breakfast buffet with some good service, absolutely horrible service from front counter, my girlfriend is 7.5 months pregnant and we were allocated a room 3 stories high with no lifts, and an additional 500 m walk to the front desk, locked out of our room 4 times, due to a faulty card/lock and having to wait in the heat, especially a pregnant lady is completely unnaceptable, mind you to walk in 35 plus degree heat just to get another card not to work, poor service from “Manager on duty” having told us to walk to him to get a replacement key. Once we got into the room having to wait 15 mins outside just so he could use a machine to open the door, he said he would deliver the key himself but to our amazement he had someone else deliver the key for him, absolutely poor service, will not be coming to this place again, and I will not recommend any of my friends to this resort In the future, thank you for making our promised relaxation baby moon a very exhausting and tiring one, thanks.

Stayed a week here. No matress protector on the bed and sheets very thin could see pattern of mattress through the sheet. Bed Looked pretty clean🤔😕 bathroom had mould growing in shower. Staff lovely, hobest and reliable. Pool great.

Feni Sukmawati (01/11/2017 11:13)
Very unhappy with the staff in the front desk. Unfriendly, not helpful at all. I did a special request for double single bed they give me deluxe room with king bed without any confirmation. I walking all the way back to my room and found out they gave me the wrong room. Front desk makes me waiting in the lobby to get my room with no apologies at all. Wasn't friendly at all. Very disappointed!!!

Neelamegam Sundaresan (16/09/2017 06:50)
Located very closer to the beach in Tanjung Benoa area. Good place for stay away from hustle and bustle of the city. Wide spread buffet breakfast provided. Very close to the sea water sports activities area.

So we arrived on Saturday 1st July 2017. We checked in ok but it all went downhill from then.

1st- Arrived in room only to find that the glass door that leads onto the pool dont lock when outside amd you want it to leaving poor security.

2- went for swim in pool only to.find at least 200 broken tiles on the bottom of the pool just loose.

3- Atmosphere is pathetic. So bad are the alcohol and food prices at the pool that it is at least 10% more than homes prices. Example.
1 Club sandwich is 90,000IDR which equates to roughly $9.00, but you also need to add another 21% tax on top which takes it to approx $11.00 but given beer prices are approx $7.00 for a standard middy class no wonder guests wont have lunch or dinner or happy hour drinks. THEY NEED TO SORT THIS OUT.
Suggestion cheaper drinks =atmosphere and more revenue.

3- getting kids ready for bed and notice that there is a room full of bugs that have come from the curtains as they havent been cleaned properly before check in that day.

3- Called them back to sort item 3 out and get told that was the best they could do and here is flyspray. BASICALLY SORT THE ISSUE OUT YOURSELF.

4- You are at the arse of nowhere and have to walk 10 min minimum to change money.

5- since night one when we used the mugs they have left them on the desk and not replaced with clean ones since day 4 but only after i asked.

6- Asked staff to change sheets as we do not sleep with A/c on at night as it gives the kids stuffy heads but it means our bodies sweat at night. Sheets have not been changed even adter i asked them to clean room properly and need new sheets. Go to bed tonight same smelly sheets on still and one pissed off customer.

7- Probably some money spent on maintenance at hotel would be nice.

8- staff friendly for food.

Wont be back. Scoopon or full paying.

Dont waste your time and be happy.to.leave money in wallet.

Very unhappy consumers.

Absolutely love this place! Relaxing atmosphere and the service to second to none. The gardens are just beautiful, highly recommend a garden view room (we stayed in row of rooms 101-109). Buffet breakfast has a lot of choice and when I told a staff member Dewa upstairs that I was gluten free, they notified all 3 restaurants of the hotel and made note against my room number. I was surprised with gluten free breads in the morning at breakfast which was a lovely touch, and a more specific dinner menu just for me. Novi & Rara are two young girls that will bend over backwards to ensure your stay is the best possible. The pool was huge and had a little kids are with a cave. The swim up bar also has happy hour from 4pm for cocktails, they make a great piña colada by the way. The hotel driver Sang is great, highly recommend if you want to go for day tour, he will take you anywhere and he is very trustworthy. Our room was exactly as it's pictured online, I was very surprised by this as often hotels never look as they do in the pictures. The hotel owns the Tao restaurant across the street with has a pool on the beachfront, lovely of an afternoon and they have beautiful dinner dishes too. The entire resort was clean, well manicured and felt very private (I would avoid pool view rooms if you want privacy). While this is a big hotel (roughly 190 rooms) the majority of guests are Chinese. They come in swarms but they leave on buses for day trips every day roughly 8am-8pm so the resort if free roam basically the entire time. No having to race for a sun bed or book too far in advance for dinner or massage. The Chinese do tend to hang out by the pool from 8pm til late when they come back from their outings so another reason I recommend garden view room for privacy. Definitely intend to stay here again. Perfect break away for couples and families.

The strength of Tanjung Benoa Beach Resort is the staff. Very friendly and welcoming. Spa is wonderful and great service.

Sonya Tawfik (05/03/2017 06:23)
Staff are incredible, so friendly and willing to help no matter what you need.

On arrival we were meant to have a transfer waiting for us and i jad a confirmation from the resort. Lucky we were traveling with family who booked the exact same thing as when we got off the flighy there was no one waiting for us only the other family members. Got to the resort and there was no booking. PLEASE make sure you take your travel docs with you as this was the only way i was able to ensure i got my accommodation. Took a while for themto sort anything out but in the end it was all ok.

Its a beautiful resort however a bit dated. I originally purchased a villa in the resort and it was very dated and not very kid friendly. Was traveling with family and they were in a smaller room which was extremely more modern, cleaner and closer to the pool than the viller that i paid extra for. Spoke with Ridi and he was so friendly and understood. He was so kind to move us closer to our family members and in a stunning room.

We had breakfast included - again the staff were incredible however the variety was questionable. The lady who cooks fresh eggs sunday to friday is such a delight to see in the morning as was everyone else.

Pool bar was great and convenient the boys in there are just funny and willing to have a laugh for with you. There is a pool bar menu that you can order food from and on monday - saturday they hace a pool side food bar. As we had younger kids there is limited things you can feed them in a country where you have to be careful they will not get sick so their main dish was mararita pizza and chips which, one bowl of chips would be 10 aud and would be smaller than the quantity of the small chips at maccas. Around the pool is great huts we were lucky that there wasnt many ppl at the reaort when we were there, we were able to get the hut right outside our room so was very convenient expecially putting the kids down for a nap as it is very shady and cool out of the direct sun light.

The spa was a nice touch, we organised a massage and a mask for our last day. When we booked it they said we could choose the type of mask we wanted when we came back but when we came for or appointment they said that we needed to give notice so they can prepare a day in advance. Wasnt very impressed with that as i specifically asked when booking and they said i didnt have too. Lucky theywere able to organise something for it. We had a cucumber mask which was great. The massage was a bit different and at times you just need to let them know what are feeling to get it right. But again. Nice experience.

Over all, the resort and i will go back again just now woth an expectation of what its like.

Enjoy!

Not happy. Was told on arrival that we would get free breakfast with our room. On the second morning, we went to breakfast and were told that we would now have to pay for the breakfast.
This caused us significant embarrassment when a simple phone call would have made all the difference. Will never stay here again.

Wanna have fun?? Come here.. all sea sport is here

Pierre Nicolas (05/09/2016 23:01)
Great gardens pools and staff. Buildings need some repairs but overall very comfortable

Pierre-Laurent Audinos (28/07/2016 23:34)
Hotel room was a bit out of date. Room service was very good. Breakfast was ok. Drawbacks: airport is not far so you get airplane noise at 2am for example. Beach is ruined by all the activities offered like jetski, paragliding etc. Don't count to swim there.

Sarveshkumar Gupta (14/09/2016 08:22)
Wonderful Resort....great ambiance...

Jack Cheung (14/09/2016 07:30)
Nice place and atmosphere. However the decoration was little bit outdated.but consider the price and location. This is a great place for you to stay

Benny Herlanda (03/08/2016 03:34)
So, the best view of beach is front of the hotel. The room view is not beachfront.

koko dede (27/06/2016 08:50)

property is good. has mesmerising design. however, a big let down is maintensnce of this property. if this continues for a couple of years, this property will become unsuitable for stay. hope this message reaches the right authority and they take adequate steps to restore its beauty.
