A very big and beautiful international airport . It has so many duty free shops and great restaurants to eat. Need to change money? Don't worry; you can change money as soon as you come out of the airport and so many drivers waiting outside to take you to your resorts if you haven't already arranged for a ride.
Relax in many restaurants before your boarding time is due at the departures level.

Nice, busy and large airport. Neat and clean. Lot of shops are there in both international and domestic terminal.
Arrival immigration takes long time as you will find long ques there. Although departure immigration takes less time but make sure you have enough time in hand before boarding.
Washrooms and other facilities are adequate. It will be better to use Grab or Uber on arrival because taxi asks for five to six times higher rent from here. And do not buy mobile phone SIM card at airport. We bought SIM from outside at half of the price asked at airport outlets.

Very large and Very beautiful International Airport.
Very long terminal and beautiful view from glass Walls. Though terminal bay is very long, full of escalators so you will tired to roam or walk till gates.
Terminal full of glass Walls which enables beautiful view of Runways, flights and Ocean so you will love to walk till gates.
Massive spacious terminal gates lobby for waiting area and beautiful view and many shopping options.
Very friendly staff and hospitality, many restroom and drinking water options throughout the terminal. Loved It :-)

love the ambience despite of its crowd. we can clearly see the sea outside and feel the warmth of the sun when it's dry season. love the view :D so authentic. they have many great options of food&beverage outlet. you also can find some souvenirs and snacks around the lounge.

This airport is pretty organized and easy to navigate. If you're flying from the international airport, there are free and clean showers for you to use after the secured areas. This means, if you've been out exploring all day in Bali and you're trying to catch a flight later on in the day, just make sure you have a towel and some clean clothes in your carry on and at the very least, you can rinse! There were at least 5 showers in the females shower room and all have locks with a toilet. Clean and no need to pay! They are located behind the food area, just follow the big signs!
The International side is enclosed and with air conditioning, so it is quite comfortable.They are using the body scanners in the security procedures, so it is quick!

Has improved vastly over the years. However, on arrival do not get ripped off by the taxi counter, they no longer have the prices on show and quote really high prices! Do your research, or walk out on the street and hail a bluebird taxi, or jump in one upstairs at the drop off point. They are still a little backwards with security. Your bags get scanned twice, and then at the departure gate officers search you again! What did they miss the first 2 times??? You are not allowed to bring bottled water or drinks on to the aircraft, so I'm confused as to why there are water fountains in front of the gate. You cannot even bring unopened drinks , it's all very odd.

Great staff. I forgot my phone in the restroom after washing my hands this morning because we were rushing to go to our designated boarding gate. I went back to the said restroom after realizing that I didn't have my phone with me. The staff-on-duty happily assisted me and pointed me to an office where I can claim it. I got my phone after the necessary confirmatory procedures. Way to go!

Not too big but clean with nice Balinese decoration. The porter was kind and polite. My baggage is arrive safely. It has wheelchair service so it's perfect for my grandmother. Like the butterfly street though. It's my second time visit this airport and my third time visit Bali. Welcome to the paradise! 😎😆😃

After continents hopping ,thrill in me never gets less whenever I land up in a new destination. DPS airports arrival points are quite ,well managed, huge to cater to the global rush, that is very much evident as Bali is getting increasingly in demand for outside world. On the contrary the departures portion of the airport are huge, very clean,neat, well managed and the best part is the people over here. Duty free shops have small spread but than also got perfumes and Buddha statutes for back home. Overall design and architecture is quite good too. Just we need few more supper counters such that in leisure time after duty free time , good food is required.
Come visit and enjoy the country.

A very well maintained place with excellent ambience, for a place where it is throbbing with tourists from all over the world... So requires more immigration counters. Don't know why the hell this place doesn't provide public drinking water unlike other places. When u arrive at the departure just exchange only that much is required for the taxi. Taxi drivers try to cheat. So ride only the metered ones . Happy holidaying....!!👍

The most beautiful airport I’ve been to. The orchids everywhere are beautiful. The entrance to the airport right off the plane made us go back just to get pictures. The airport is amazing!

The staff at the airport were exceptional. My wife who has a disability was offered a wheel chair and the staff then assisted her through the check in, immigration and right to the aircraft door. The service was well above what was expected and the staff were cheerful and helpful throughout.

Immigration control took 2 hours. Officers are talking to each other instead of doing their job.
As on the streets, many people cut the line to be faster. They've got a bad karma. Hopefully this doesn't revenge.
Taxi drivers on the outside are harassing. I recommend using an uber, much cheaper, more friendly and cleaner than taxi. Conviction by quality!

One of a Cleanest and beautiful International Airport in the world. Really amazing. Washrooms and airport well maintained and well cleaned. Sometimes its rush on seasonal periods. Overall its OK. Surrounding of the airport is unbelievable and nice architecture design concept. Its a Greenish + Rainy + Blueish Airport,

Pretty impressed with the airport in Bali. They have people on call 24/7 to clean up after every surge of travelers. Bathrooms weren't the USA style of hold your breath and go as fast as you can. Super clean. For the amount of traffic these guys deal with it was run pretty smoothly.

Needs professional management. After waiting 1.5 hours for our bags while flying in business class we were then allowed to sit in airport traffic for another 40 minutes to pay the few cents in car entrance fees. At least change to be like all other airports in the world where you only pay to park your vehicle. Make the parking fees higher and therefor free entry for just dropping and picking up passengers. Overall the passengers will have a much better arrival experience and the airport will not lose any revenue.

Only problem here are the taxis harassing you... But this new terminal was quite well thought in general. I've been coming here almost every month for the past 3 years and find that it improved over time. It's not up there with Singapore Changi Airport but it's definitely one of the best in the region

Nice airport. Very busy. Taxi's are great, fast service. Nice clean airport, could do with more seats inside. As we checked in, everyone was everywhere on the floor, not enough seats. But overall nice airport. The food inside very expensive, quiet shocked to be honest.

Friendly staff and fast immigration are one of the airport's main advantages. The approach over water is spectacular since some parts of the runway has been build over the sea.
The airport withnessed considerable improvements over the past decades as it becomes one of the busiest ports in Indonesia.

Points to note... exit immigration is after security, security is fast but the long slow immigration (all nationalities together of after) which you can't see to judge the time can make you late.
There is lots of free water fountains on the way to the gates so no need to buy bring empty bottle. First one is at gate 2 on the left.
Air Asia weight hand luggage here at 7kg max. We had to wear lots of things, put camera around neck and things in pockets!!
Uber can drop off at airport - much cheaper than airport taxi transfers.

Very fast immigration & friendly officers. Staff at the information was very helpful and made some calls for us :) nice! When you walk in the arrival hall you definitely need a shirt written 'Thank you - I don't need a taxi' on it. Every 5 m there is a helpful taxi-driver :)
Very big, clean and nice open-air smoking area next to departure gates.

Even though the area is relatively small, but it doesn't make the airport stopping its development. For the last 4 years, the airport has significant improvements in every aspects, such as on its cleanliness, its visitor flow, its traffic, and so on. Also the best thing if you take off or landing at this airport, you can see a breathtaking view of the sea of Bali strait. Yes, because the airport is located in the sea side.

This airport is amazing for a 3rd world country. The staff are nice and the design is very unique (Traditional on the outside, and modern on the inside). The only thing that would make me give this airport a 4 star review instead of a higher review is because I vomited due to the food I had at the airport, and the poor maintenance. Other than that, this airport is great.

The airport recently was renovated and it shows as a much more modern one. There are many shops and restaurants oast immigration. However be aware the between security and the immigration there are no shops or restaurants at all.
So if you come too early and you cannot drop off your luggage at the airline it's better to wait before security in case you want to eat or drink something before you can pass.

If you are an American stay away!! You WILL be targeted and subjected to very unpleasant searches (You can guess why they target US)

I stayed for 5 hours and left due to that alone
*men are very aggressive so keep your rape whistle if you are brave enough to stay here
*taxis are a rip off
*you will be targeted
*you may be robbed
The taxi drivers kept following me I felt in danger and when I started making noise and told the longest most aggressive one *touching my arm, bags and asking how much money I had* to go away for the 30th time he ran off

The airport apparently was recently refreshed, sadly with the clear focus on pressing money from passengers and not providing convenience. Half of the escalators don't work which is great when you arrive with luggage (something not so uncommon at an airport). There are no business/first/status class privileges at security and immigration and both have super long and slow queues. After you finally pass it there is a long and mandatory walk through duty free until one reaches the gates. Between entrance and security there are two redundant and completely useless boarding pass checks. Definitely one of Asias worse airports.

Much better than before i came.
Clear sign and the staff are friendly.
lot of improvement in system and modernized in everywhere.
Very organized but don't know if it in the peak season

pretty surprised that this airport would be so well furnished. the airport looks really modern and has a lot of shopping and dining options. The layout is really great because going to your gate will bring you around most of the stores there.
One bad thing that happened though is the constant 2 second blackout which occurred during my time there. This caused the wifi to cut out for about 15 min each time.

Had compliment tickets from Malaysian Airlines for the lounge due to some delays and overbooking. Nice and big place. The down part was on arrival the taxi drivers are harassing you to go with them in the taxi the competition is big among the drivers. Bali is an amazing place worth visiting from 2 weeks and more it's ideal. Enjoy!

Nice building .... but the checkin queue is a mess ... can't even managed a proper first-in-first-out queue.... get you acts together !
Taxi counter is a ripoff too .... Wanted 200 k for a ride to Nusa Dua. Normal fare should be under 150k

what i love about the airport is, as soon as you in there you will feel balinese vibe. what i dont like is the shops is way too much this is airport not a mall, and i hate walking zig zag from check in counter to boarding lounge
