Great Balinese food with great atmosphere. Little on the expensive side but worth getting out of your resort and trying their delicious dishes!

The food was fantastic and generous portions. Staff were very friendly. We went with 2 babies that needed high chairs which was no problem. I recommend the sate campur.

This has the best food in the area but it's also pricey in comparison.
Each dish comes with rice, sauces, shredded chicken salad and pickles.
Everything is quite tasty and portions are a decent size. There's not loads of space for kids to run around, and some water features to watch out for. You get a nice flower on your ear upon arrival and there's a car service back to the hotel.
For a luxury meal come here, for a more budget meal with seating on the beach, go to Mr Bob next door.

We had the set lunch last week and it was probably the best food we had in Bali. The service was great too. Highly recommended.

Great find - after eating a couple of days at the hotel we wanted something different. This place had so many good reviews (number and rating). Not disappointed. The food is very good, it’s BYO, and the service is super friendly. Spent 800k between 2, 5k for byo per bottle. They even have a free taxi service to your hotel. Will definitely come back. Make sure you book in advance.

Nice atmosphere with Live music and traditional dance. Food presentation is 8.5. I like Sate yakitori style. Sate source 7.9. no spicy source TT. maybe separate order. Pork rib is average tasty with small charcoal grill. a bit fatty tasty. a bit pricy.

My first time visit here.. we are so surprised with the food presentation, its looks amazing.. the staff all friendly, great restaurant with great taste.. the price also good.. i think this one is a must visit restaurant when in Bali, especially when you were in Nusa Dua area..

Brilliant... can order take away! Mie Goreng was spicy & tasty... the satay sauce is made from scratch and is delicious. The staff were friendly & welcoming (for a take away order). The restaurant has an authentic atmosphere..... impressed!

Brilliant. Not what the other people are on about. The food was fantastic. It was like a party in my mouth. We had the mixed sate and the chicken curry. I would have done the cooking class if we had more time. Maybe next trip. Would definitely go back. Prices were excellent and fair. Best food we had in Bali.

Nice environment with steep tourist prices. The service was good and quick and food presentation is very nice. Sadly however the food was extremely bland and had very little flavour. There are many places that are much better in terms of food quality and provide an overall better value for money.

One of the best restaurants in the area for great Balinese food. People are very friendly and welcoming with the facilities very clean. Not a place for westernised food or fancy drinking. Well priced

Amazing food and very friendly staff. Beware, food can be very spicy but delicious! 😉😎 Compared to the Nusa Dua Hotel Restaurants the pricing is very fair for the quality of food and service offered here!

Amazing!!! Beautiful restaurant, great staff and the most amazingly prepared delicious food and such generous portions.
We had the VEGETARIAN RIJSTTAFEL which was meant to be for one person, we shared and it was more than enough for us both, so much so that we got the dessert as a carry away.
Bumbu is a beautiful dining experience and a must try! The hotel pickup/drop off is a nice touch. Thank you Bumbu!

One of the best places to eat at in Bali, definitely earned it's certification from swiss! The food is magnificent and cooked so well I've never tasted anything like it. A well varied menu accompanied with the very comfortable environment of the restaurant. Nasi campur is a definite must try here. The coconut was very tender and sweet as well. Going to Bali would've been a waste if we didn't eat at this restaurant! Prices are a bit pricey, but definitely worth it. Must go to place for authentic Balinese cuisine. A perfect representative for Indonesian cuisine. staff was so polite, friendly and well informed.

I came here with a friend without a reservation for dinner and we're lucky they were able to accommodate us.
Food was delicious - they serve a good bowl of oxtail soup - and service was friendly and attentive.
The food fare served here is mainly Balinese with a few Indonesian dishes I'm familiar with.
Most of the special dishes like Bebek Bertutu takes a day to prepare so better call a day in advance if you have a hankering.
Dinner is also accompanied by live gamelan music and traditional Balinese dance. Twas a great experience for my friend and me. We'd love coming back again.

The best place to eat in Bali! We ate in different places during our stay but kept coming back every other day for one meal to Bumbu. The restaurant is always busy and other places almost empty so imagine how amazing food is in here. Excellent service, very good prices, heavelny experience. Must try!

Food is absolutely delicious, very well-priced and the service is outstanding. They ordered us a taxi to our resort with no additional costs and only by asking us where we stay. The chef himself said goodbye to us, it was a great experience, 100% recommended!

Food is delicious and lots of different variety. Loved the outdoor atmosphere with some gazebo seating too. Staff are very friendly. The waiter said we had ordered too much food and should consider cancelling the rice/noodles dishes as the curries came with white and brown rice. they also provide free hotel drop off. One less star for the hair in our food!

The food at Bumbu Bali was the best I had during this holiday. My wife and I loved it so much that we ate there two nights in a row. It's not cheap, but it is worth paying for. On the first night we had a chicken curry, papaya salad and pork ribs. See photo attached.

Possibly the best Balinese cuisines I've had. If you want to experience the local cuisine then this place is a must. However a wise warning, have your hotel make a booking - I've never seen a restaurant in Bali actually turning away people - and we went during off peak season.

Food was superb and well matched with the drinks. A feast to delight the young and old. My kids loved the chicken satay and we shared the BALINESE RIJSTTAFEL. Greatly paired for adults with a nice Arak Madu. Great feast. Will definitely visit again.

I usually don't do any restaurant reviews but this restaurant is superb!! Great vegetarian food and local drinks, homemade tempé and ice cream, open kitchen, beautiful presentation and ambiance and service beyond expectation! They even give you a free ride back to your hotel. I'm gonna miss this place!

Had an amazing time here, I'm vegetarian so I ordered the Veg Indonesian curry, and it was one of the best meals I've ever eaten. What enhanced the food was the way it was served (lots of extra sauces/salads/dips). Amazing place with great ambience, tasty food and extremely polite staff.

Very good balinese restaurant. Foods are great, always deliver to my expectation. Highly recommended place for balinese food. Price is little pricier, but worth the taste.

Greeted by an all staff welcome when you walk in the door, the service is very friendly. Cool courtyard venue with great local atmosphere. Food and presentation were outstanding and very reasonably priced. Transportation provided to some resorts.

Great food and atmosphere. We found the prices higher than average for Bali, but that is true for Nusa Dua in general. We tried satay here our first night in Bali and it was great.

Amazing local Indonesian food, very friendly staff. Relatively expensive but but over priced. We were fairly disappointed with a lot of restaurants in Nusa Dua but this place really was great. Thank you!

Great experience! Nice location and friendly staff. Was recommended by a native to us. Offer quite a few dishes no other restaurant offers. Took a while until served, but waiting was worth it. Extremely delicious food at a very reasonable price. Paid 250k Rupiah for starters, main course an drinks for 2 pax. Simply awesome and definitely recommendable!

Balinese food served the way as it is prepared in Balinese homes.
Great food, great atmosphere, overall a very pleasant experience despite how hot it was outdoor.

I have visited this place for quite a number of times, but every single time, they do not fail to impress me. Every single bite I take, it burst with flavours and the smell of spices.
With soft music and chillax ambiance around the restaurant, it is one of the best restaurant I have ever visited!

try to make reservation before coming for dinner to avoid disappointments :)
