This airport is the most beautiful I've ever seen in Indonesia. Its design is eco-friendly, neat, and beautiful. Not only neat its also clean and the staff are nice and helpful. Love it! May the authority can keep up the good work.

It's a small and still developing airport. It designed to not using air conditioner, except for the boarding room. Unique design for its building, makes it a unique airport in Indonesia. It has clean restrooms. Banyuwangi still developing their tourism potential

Clean and simple. It has a good smoking area which is in terrace with fresh air and in the side of fishes pool.

Small new airport with minimalist design and clean restrooms. If you’re arrive or depart from this airport, as a bonus you can get nice panoramic views

Local Gov restructure and improve airport better than before. Flight from Jakarta can be directly to Banyuwangi now. New airport building was good.

The airport with eco-building concept. It takes less energy without any AC on the building. But don't worry!! You won't feel hot here, the wind could come through till the inside part of the airport. I believe it will become one of the best airport in Indonesia on the future.

Infrastructure wise, lots of rooms for improvement, maybe I should come and see when new terminal is ready, not bad for a start though. I guess more sitting area and proper toilet would be beneficial for the time being.

The smallest airport I've ever visited 😅 but it's a good start for Banyuwangi tho. I had my direct flight to Jakarta by Nam air. The flight itself was over my expectation as I was expecting a complete small cabin, but it's not. Quite enjoyable flight and enough space.
Since the airport is small, it took quite some time for the check in because they only opened 3 check in counters (1 counter specific for Garuda passangers and 2 for others), So please expect the queue made in front of the gate because sometimes they need to control number of people inside the room 😅
And if you got luggage, you just need to hand it to the crew helping in the check in counter to weigh and carry your luggage. No conveyors.
For the access from the city to this airport, not sure if they have shuttle yet, but I had Gocar to take me to the airport.

Eco green airport concept, polite and helpful airport staff, it is going to be great airport, boarding process still not good we have to walk from terminal building to airplane, if raining i don't know, only umbrella available, no bus to get airplane, it has pilot school, direct flight from Banyuwangi to Jakarta by NAM air, Banyuwangi to Surabaya by Garuda and Wings Air 3 times a day.

Transit airport from juanda to banyuwangi, star the ijen crater, kalipait landscape n waterfall, cantimor homestaycarea with mini niagara waterfall, etc adventure to this lovely place, ..

Cleanliness is important. When it comes to public place, keeping the place clean is priority number one. This airport is relatively new and small, so it's suppose to be manageable.
An adequate waiting room that's comfortable and filled with facilities shall also be well thought of. Although it's currently only temporary terminal due to low frequency in airlines schedule, they should focus on making each passenger to have a pleasant journey.
Currently we are on a 5 hours delay caused by Wings Air of Lion Group, being stuck in an airport with minimal facility is making things uneasy.

Finally Banyuwangi is connected with flight services. Need to have good infrastructure development (board, loding and transportation facilities) to support tourism.
