They have healthy breakfast, but they could prepare with more love ❤️.
But the breakfast was very good and the staff friendly 👍🏼recommendation
All other food is so great, especially all kind of cakes and the green lasagne, and the sweet potatoes are phantastic.
Try it out!

I had high hopes for this places but I'm really disappointed. I've eaten here a few times but didn't really like any of the meals. Do they even taste their own food? A lot of improvements could be made with a qualified chef. I ordered their choco smoothie bowl today which is supposed to come out cold but is was really just a blended up warm banana with fruit on top. Pancakes are horrible, no flavour, bland and soggy.
The tofu scramble, surprisingly, is really good.
Staff are warm and very friendly. The only let down is the food.

Food is great and really healthy. But it's the slowest service of all time..prepare to wait at least half an hour for your breakfast. Don't go if you are already starving as you might be waiting a long time!

The food here is amazing! The kitchen is all vegan, which has been hard to find in Canggu - most 'healthy' cafes serve meat/dairy with some vegan options. Friendly staff and good prices.

This is a super fun and healthy restaurant. The staff are friendly and the food was super. I have spice allergies and the staff were very helpful in keeping me safe. The salads, soups and deserts are all non guilty pleasures!

The lasagna and salads were good. The Apple crumble had a smidgen of ice cream so that could improve. And the staff is nice. What soured my experience is Celine Dion. They played the same goddamn song for over an hour and I will no longer have my coffee there after my yoga class.

Their "sugar free" items are not sugar free at all, what a load of s***. They use honey, coconut milk, fruit, and all kinds of ingredients that contain SUGAR, therefore your desserts are not sugar free. Just because you are not adding sugar to the recipe doesn't make it sugar free, and you could end up really messing people up who can't intake sugar.
UPDATE: Had another bad experience here yet again due to mis-labeling of the ingredients...
I'm allergic to raisins, which was not listed as an ingredient in the carrot and nut cake and had a bad reaction to it. When I asked they told me raisins were used. What the f*** is wrong with this place? The name is "Alkaline Restaurant" which promotes healthy good, yet they can't even properly label ingredients. I will never return here again!

Very nice staff. They try their best to make your stay as nice as possible. The food is delicious and it is clearly marked which meals are gluten free, vegan etc.
The sitting area can be best described as casual: you can sit at simple wooden tables, on beanbags or floor-level couches. The athmosphere is relaxed.

SUPER DISAPPOINTED!
When we found this place I was so happy to finally find raw vegan food, where (quote of the restaurant)"food is your medicine".
I ordered a coconut nice cream, which was labeled sugar free, but just to be sure, I asked the staff and they said "yes, sugar free - just coconut and coconut milk". When I tasted it, it tasted sweet, so I asked AGAIN and got the same answer.
Then I gave it to my baby and one of the staff came over to tell me, that there is actually sugar in it. LIKE WHAT? Are you kidding me???
Couldn't believe it. Asked to speak to the manager, waited 20 min for him without being offered anything while we wait.
The manager apologized, but that's it. He didn't even offer us anything to make up for this ridiculous mistake.
Never experienced such disappointed anywhere. Not only have the staff there no idea about the ingredients, they just tell your whatever. And the lack of customer service is insane. What kind of raw alkaline vegan restaurant is this?????

The place sounds appealing as is their menu. They have raw vegan coconut ice cream where the label on the box said sugar free. My wife even asked twice if its really sugar free and the staff said yes. She orders and eats one portion and even gives some to our baby, and then another waitress comes and tells us there is actually palm sugar inside! Like what?!

The staff at alkaline is ok friendly
I needed some water but had forgotten money. They would not give me any even though I go there almost every 2nd day.... I guess at the minimum water would have been nice. Luckily a guest decided to help me out.

The food is good, & inexpensive, & in good portions. However, if you're more Greg than Dharma you might be put off a bit by the hippie vibe. While eating my meal, a three-pawed dog, clearly used to being fed based on sympathy, kept following me around. That could be tolerable, but its constant scratching & biting at itself made me worried about fleas or mange, which is not at all conducive to enjoying a meal. However, if you're looking for gluten-free or vegan options, you're limited to this place within the near vicinity.

alkaline restaurant is really ecofriendly and healthy... close to the beach in the serenity area... tiramisu is yummy, green lasagne is yummy, choco cake vanilla ice yummy, apple crumble is good but not the same as what we have in germany as apple crumble - here its more like apple granola, the gado gado could be good but they put sth on it (i think tempeh) and its nowhere written but i really dont like the taste of it. The prices are affordable and really good for healthy vegan and ecofriendly food, staff is really nice BUT even its so healthy you are allowed to smoke outside and the best places to sit are outside... there is also a space inside to smoke what makes no sense for me cause it smells everywhere...

Fresh food, ample portions and great prices. Friendliest of staff. Very laid back and right off the beach. Great wifi. I came here everyday at least once while on vacation. Thank you!

the food is really average. juices with water.
better to go to other place.
the tea made with teabags
they put honey and writing no sugar added to juices
the portions are really small so need to take more
