Doesn't really look like in the picture but it's fine. The waves are quite big and some places in the shore are quite steep so be careful when you stand near the sea! There's this beautiful hill that requires you to do hiking a bit (not so much so don't worry) and you can take breathtaking pictures there since the view is amazing! But you have to pay 2000 rupiah to hike the hill, which is cheap so it's fine. But it has no fences, it's a cliff, so you have to be extra careful

The best beach in Gunungkidul. The view is superb. The water is blue, the sand is white. It's also great spot to enjoy sun set. We can swim and surf here. I always visit this beach when I go home (mudik).

I remember, when I was here I got overwhelmed with the view. The reason why I loved being here because there weren't too many people so you see how beautiful this beach. One of underrated beach In Yogyakarta.

Such a beautiful view. Typical south ocean. Emerald-coloured sea, with clear blue sky. Do come here with your family.

worth the miles, breath taking view, the lagoon so beautiful and pretty safe for swimming, underwater view was amazing. this place should be explore on and on.

What a great and also calm beach. I hope they will keep this beach clean and won't build any unnecessary hotel there. A little far away from the city, but the journey was worth it.
