One of the beaches in Jogja with beautiful panoramic view is Sundak Beach. Located in the Village Sidoharjo, District Tepus, Kab. Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta, this beach has a stretch of white sand with sea waves are quite large compared with other beaches in Jogja.
On the right and left side of this beach there are large rocks that form a separation between Sundak beach with other beaches. The best way to enjoy the charm of Sundak beach is by camping, enjoying the evening while baking the fish along with the companions.

beautiful view, many diner around the beach, you should try to visit other beach along the south coast (located after Sundak beach if you drive from Yogyakarta city)

There really nothing here. Only a view for photos. and stores. You pay for everything, the toilet, the mattres for sitting. You cannot swim here

I visited on weekdays and there's only a few people here, so it's quite nice with a beautiful scene of horizon. recommended!!!

Out of the way beach, some good look out cliff with view of beach and water.
Parking : 4/5 plenty of parking
Cleanliness : 2/5 not so clean
Facilities : 2/5 as is, no table / chairs, there are plenty of shower facilities, some restaurants
Safety : 1/5 no lifeguard
Beach : 2/5 Better in the morning before the tide comes in. The waves and tides don't make it too safe.

One Best spot among long coastal line on Gunung Kidul. Its white sand beach with calm wave and shady tress canopy for resting. There is small restaurant provides good food with reasonable price

Very nice for children. The waves are light and not dangerous. Best visited after two pm.

Pantai Sundak dan teman-temannya di kiri kanan (pantai Krakal, Pantai Indrayanti). pantai dengan pasir putih bersih, air bening cenderung hijau (efek ganggang hijau), ombak kategori sedang dan cocok buat escape sejenak dari hiruk pikuk kota..
Di sekeliling banyak tempat makan mudah terjangkau, kamar mandi umum dan beberapa penginapan (example : omah sundak). Jarak dari stasiun ke area pantai (arah Gunung Kidul) sekitar 1 jam 50 menit menggunakan sepeda motor
Monggo datang kesini, mumpung masih bersih dan nyaman, sebelum banyak yang tahu (baca : sebelum rame dan banyak sampah) :p

Di Pantai ini kita bisa berenang dengan melihat begitu banyak ikan hias tanpa harus menyelam begitu dalam.
