white-sand beach, beautiful coral rocks, there's some traditional resorts around the beach, about 2 hours driving from Yogyakarta city, quite far but really worth to visit.

Indrayanti beach
One from several beaches which lays on the south coast of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.
It is 44 km away from the city of Yogyakarta, or about 2 hours drive thru Wonosari, Gunung Kidul.
It has a beautiful sand and a clear water, although it is advised not safe for swimming, the beach offered beautiful spot for photography, local restaurants and small motels.
It is also located near to other famous beaches such as Baron, Krakap, Watu Kodok and many others.
Don’t forget to bring your sunscreen and local rupiah money, coz there are no money changer and atm around the place.

I always love this beach. So clean. We can take gorgeous photos from any angle. The beach is beautiful but has big waves so it is not recommended swimming for beginners. Typical of the sea in the southern part of Indonesia. But there are spots where children can play water comfortably.

Such a nice beach, good view from the hill, lot people come here, photo spots provided, and the brown-white of sand. You can choice this place from the rows of beaches in Gunung Kidul Regency.

It was a beautiful beach,
it's not too crowded, but you can see a bunch of families and groups of teens and people visiting,
great restaurants and food stalls as well as coconut drinks 😊🤩

Incredibly clean white sand and clear blue sky in Gunung Kidul Yogyakarta, absolutely recommended to visit even it's taken time for few hours, but never regretted at all, all our tired and bored activities could be healing here...No doubt and just go to feel the amazing atmosphere here...💙💙💙🎆🎆🇮🇩🇲🇨🇲🇨🏆🥇🙏🌟🌟🌟💯🆗🆒🆒🆒🆒

Good view, but too crowded in weekend. The restaurant needs improvement in service and cleaning. Visit in weekdays would be better.

This beach is located along the southern indonesian shoreline which means the wind is blowing HARSHLY over the beach, but IMHO this beach is worth visiting. I love the way locals keep the beach clean, I love the clear watee, BUT BE CAREFUL! SWIMMING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED HERE BECAUSE OF THE CURRENT, THEY ARE AO VIOLENT! Apart from that everything is fine

Beautiful beach with windy and warm atmosphere
You can stay and enjoy on the shore while watching the waves reach the tide
but you can also playing the sand too

Not too crowded as the location is pretty secluded. The sand is white, but it has many dead shells. If you want to take a walk on the beach better do it barefoot, else the dead shells sometimes will stuck on your slippers and it will hurt your feet. Mobile network reception is pretty bad.
