This waterfall is good to visit because it is natural. I love crossing the river to reach it because the water is green (ensure you visit here with appropriate weather/season). I love seeing natural scenary like this!

Even google maps can't guide us to this magnificent place. Not that the waterfall is undiscovered, but there are poor GPRS signal.

Sri Gethuk Waterfall is one of nature attraction located in Playen Subdistrict, Gunungkidul Regency, Yogyakarta. This waterfall is on the banks of the River Oyo so to enjoy it should be rushing the river with a raft. Along the way will be treated to a view of limestone cliffs on the left-right and dense trees.

During fasting month for ramadhan (june july), this place has fewer visitors and u can really enjoy the pristine nature of waterfal and clean river surrounded with cliffs.....damn it was amazing outdoor activities. U can join the tour for about rp12k for adult and just dive into the water or maybe u can jump into it from 5m edge along the river. Love it to the max!!!

another beautiful place, you can wait for long queue before see the waterfall. You can swim here also. But in the holidays, you must hard to find space for park.

Waterfalls were okay. Not that wow, but if you have spare time, it's quite nice to be there. But sometimes it' crowded with people. You will have difficulty to take pictures of the falls.
We went with the raft, and I think the view was more beautiful along the few minutes journey.
And garbage were everywhere, too...

You should come here when it's not rainy season because if you come here in rainy season the water not clear. You also can do rafting here.
