A local hot spring which has a quite nice view. Unfortunately, this place is too crowded on holiday season and makes it more of a public bath rather than a mind-relaxing hot spring. There are also attractions, outbound activities, villas, and camping grounds in this place. 4/5 from me. 👌👌👌

A really great place for fun,adventure and relaxing for a day with friends, family or couple. Suitable for young and older people to have a good time there.On top of the place it has a beautiful panorama view. The ticket price is okay. Directionssign showing the way of interest. A must go place if you are on a trip in Semarang.

Really beautiful,, but the access is so neat and hard to place,, you should be careful when you travel with your family and drive car

Great view of landscape. Nice breathing of air. Don't come here on rainy season. You can spend the night here at Pondok Wisata, or Villas. Site seeing the landscape at Pondok Panorama. Having Java coffee at Pondok Kopi. Having outbound games and swimming on the natural swimming pool at the Umbul.

It is a good place to spend your weekend. Don't forget to bring extra clothes because it has winderful swimming pool. In addition, it has a challenging outbond area.

Swimming pool opened at 8, but this place open 24 hours. I had went here at 2 AM for looking the sunrise. Very cold I feel and minimum light so make sure your vehicle light serviceable. But if u don't want go here early morning, u can camp at the camp area. This place also has a hiking way.

The road to umbul sidomukti is quite unpleasant with a steep road going uphill and it fits exactly two cars. But for you youngbloods out there this isn't a problem.
I don't recommend umbul sidomukti for young couple or families with small children but its perfect for big families or a group of friends due to it's large rooms.
The cheapest rooms are priced at 700K IDR or around 52 USD which is the standard room. It is a single-storey room that accommodates 4 person with either 4 single beds or 2 queen beds, 1 bathroom with 2 showers. This room is facing the main building.
If you have an extra 200K IDR, you can upgrade into the deluxe rooms at precisely 900K IDR or about 59 USD. With the extra cash, you get a better view of the mountain ranges, mount Merbabu and all its glory. It is a two-storey building which accommodate 4 persons with either a 2 single beds on top and on the bottom or 1 queen beds on top and on the bottom, one bathroom with one shower and you sacrifice a bit of space for the great view. And also you have an area to sit around and enjoy the view directly infront of your room although it's a public space.
If you have a larger family or with a larger group of friends, there is always the family rooms at 1.6 million IDR or 119 USD. It's a two-storey building, accommodates 8 persons with either a 4 single beds at the top and at the bottom floor or 2 queen beds at the top and botom floor. Unfortunately i haven't experience these rooms first-hand thus I'm unable to give any information. But i think it's basically a larger deluxe room.
Other facilities include a swimming pool, a pony ride for 75K IDR or 5 USD, outbound area in which you're charge for a single attraction, and a lounge but you'd have to drive further up.
And if this particular accommodation doesn't suit you, there are others up above.
Just be prepare to go up and down stairs because there a lot of them

When I get there, the weather wasn't good, it was rain and wet.
You can rent an umbrella for 10k so you didn't soak in rain.
Umbul Sidomukti located in the top of the mountain. You can see Ambarawa City from this place while you drink some hot choco or coffee.
You can reach it by rent a car or motorcycle. Umbul Sidomukti also offers you an adrenaline sport like flying fox, etc.

I went to this place several times. You could find relatively varied tourist attraction around here beside the pool itself, e.g. outbound games, botanical park, natural cave, etc. The panoramic scene also great. But sometimes this place too crowded, especially in weekend and holiday. The other problem is you must figure it out how to get here because no public transport that directly reach here .

A place not everyone know in central Java, great view of the mountains and the city.. Cool atmosphere and cozy place.. Wonderful place to relax and have fun with families and friends :)
