We have been spending our honeymoon here. Only one day left and we have been here for 5 days already, really dont want to leave and go back to London. Absolutely love this place and we will remember it for the rest of our lives. Its seems like our own little heaven on earth. The staff are amazing here, every single one if them they will do whatever it takes to make your stay more enjoyable. A special shout out to Adi our personal assistant who hooked us up with whatever we wanted to do and had a great time with when going on excursions. We were always greated with a genuine smile and when we got back from days out and they welcome you home...you wish it was really was your home. Thank you everyone for looking after me and my wife here and we would love to come back here again. If we did ever come back to bali we would definately stay here again.

One of the best place that I have stayed ever! Personel is very friendly, helpful. Always with smile. Rooms are very clean, everything works perfect (maybe beside WiFi, but there was only minor problems- sometimes signal was little to week ). Location is quite, 3km from center of Ubud but it is not a problem because they have shuttle bus there. Saying that this hotel is excellent is not enough.

Probably one of the most wonderful boutique resorts I’ve ever stayed at! At Purana you’ll experience some truly Balinese hospitality. The staff did everything to make our stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Always running an extra mile to make sure we had everything we need. Each morning we had (probably the best breakfast I’ve ever had in Bali) served on our private veranda by the pool.
Purana also offers their guest free shuttle service to central Ubud (Coco Market, close to Monkey Forest and Yoga barn) and yoga sessions in the morning + rice field trekking. A great way to start the day!

Cannot say enough good things about this place. We were upgraded to the villa with a private pool instead of the villa with the sharing pool and could not have been more content. If we were to come back we would definitely pay a bit more to stay in the private pool villa, the intimacy it offers is definitely worth it. As with other people, we were blown away by the hospitality and friendliness of the staff, super accommodating and kind. It's hard to believe this resort is only a year and a half old, they all seem like seasoned professionals (they may well be)! The rooms are great, the bed is comfortable, the pool is very nice, the breakfast is great and the price is amazing considering what you get (although we were there in the low season). Very much recommended.

Great Balinese hospitality. Probably have the nicest people working there. Provide shuttle to the market and restaurants. Even the suites are like villas. Room service is good as well as the breakfast. They do offer tours at a discounted rate along with several other activities.

Most wonderful boutique resort we have ever stayed at! The staff were all incredibly friendly and always eager to help. August is amazing, he would offer suggestions on what to do and ensured our stay was as relaxing as possible.
The resort has plenty of free activities, such as yoga and morning trekking, as well as some chargeable ones, such as the cooking class.
We stayed in a stunning one bedroom pool villa, the pool area was completely private and very beautiful. Breakfast was served by the pool on our deck each morning, and you could opt to have other meals by the pool or in the restaurant if you wanted to eat here.
I would highly recommend Purana, if you're looking to go out and explore Ubud or just unwind by the pool, it was just perfect.

Wow, what an awesome stay!
The private pool villas are amazing. Full privacy at all times, but big enough space not to feel cramped.
The service here was fantastic. We basically had a private butler. They will cater to your every need.
The food from the restaurant was really good too. A very large local selection, but all served with a flourish and slightly modern twist. All meals can be served in your villa as well.
There are a handful of other restaurants nearby too.
The romantic candle light dinner is highly recommended!
Full spa options available. They bring their own massage beds and set up on the veranda - nothing could be easier.
Free shuttle to and from Ubud every two hours. Or a USD4 Uber away. You can walk too if your up to it (4.5km to centre).
Scooter rental and bike rental available from resort as well.
Tours on offer can be tailored and are done by the resort staff (not a 3rd party). Groups are small (normally only 2 people).
We were really treated like royalty and will definitely visit again!

This is truly the best hotel I have ever had the luxury of staying at. The staff are absolutely incredible. Some of the kindest, most welcoming people I have ever met. The rooms are absolutely stunning and the pool is beautiful. Everything is so well designed and high quality. We stayed 3 nights and was incredibly sad to leave. Thank you Purana for such an incredible experience in Ubud!

I don't know if I've ever had a better experience. Beautiful setting, incredible and friendly staff that will go out of their way. They also offer a free shuttle into/out of ubud. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Spent 4 days in Purana for my Honeymoon in the private villa. Such an amazing experience. Everyone is nice and their service is 5-star. Breakfast is delicious! It's around a rice field, not too far from attractions. There are local restaurants close by. Monkey forest is a must-visit.

Most beautiful experience in Ubud Bali, highly recommended. I felt like a baby living there, every staff member pampered me alot.
Plus, all the staff member wear the most beautiful smile I have seen in Bali.
I am so grateful to meet each beautiful soul as staff members at purana.
Loved the pool, breakfast was very very yummy. Peaceful location.

Fantastic service and clean spacious room.
Limited rooms in the resort, so service staffs are very approachable and you are treated like a VIP.
Morning breakfast in room is served professionally and another unique experience we had during the stay.
Shuttle service to ubud which is very convenient for us. Even though they have fixed shuttle service schedule but they are flexible if they are available.
Will definitely stay there again when I am back to Ubud, Bali. Thanks again to the staffs and management that served us during our stay..

I originally booked the 1BR villa w/ pool for 3 days but I decided to stay for 6nights instead because I was just so comfortable. The staff here is AMAZING! So kind and helpful and willing to do anything in their power to make your stay more enjoyable. Take the cooking class if you stay here!! The breakfast is GREAT too! A ton of options so you'll never have to have the same bfast twice! They also have a free shuttle to go back and forth to central ubud, which is super convenient. I highly recommend staying here!!
