+ Lovely Staff
+ AMAZING swimming pools
- overpriced drinks compared to elsewhere
- terrible WiFi access
- poor water pressure in the shower (worse I’ve experienced in South East Asia!)
Probably would stay somewhere else if I came back.

Amazing swimming pool, very good small villas! However very bad apartment rooms. Make sure u choose the villa selection or else change the hotel.

The location is calm since it is far from big road. The issue is they have one way road for entrance that difficult for two cars.

Nice place to stay however, the rooms are starting to show their age a little bit (paint is slightly discoloured and the bathroom fixtures at a little worn). Both of the pools are well maintained and are a good option if you want to stay out of downtown Ubud. All things being equal we could stay here again.

Let's start with the good: amazing views and the 2 sweaming pools, on the bad side: moldy rooms, disgusting restaurant with high prices, sleepy and unheplful staff. Don't book this place the rooms our from the 80's and all broken.

Clean rooms. Very friendly and service minded staff. Good food. Pools are Clean and have a fantastic view over the jungle.

We stayed for 6 nights in the villa with (maybe) the best view of them all. 210.
Everyone is really polite and nice, absolutely a pleasure to meet them.
Third day, the manager came to us to ask if we are happy. Very impressed about this. Very rare to see the manager wanted to discuss as much as possible with the clients to see directly their opinions.
Food is good, prices are decent.
We had a broken light bulb outside on the terrace, in less than an hour after we've told to the reception about this was already sorted out.
The view is incredible, worth all the money.
----------
On the minus side:
A double mattress instead of two single ones will be better.
Some more light outside during the night, especially on the steps because they are so many...
Washing more often the mosquito nets next to the bed or the curtains will be a big plus ;) + replacing the silicone from the bathroom glass more often
And the main road in front of the hotel needs to be repaired (but this issue is for the council to sort it)

The staffs are friendly & pool is beautiful. The rooms have poor insulation & ac is not powerful enough. So it's too hot in the room.
Booked a one bedroom villa expecting the nice valley views from balcony (like shown in picture while booking). But my balcony(room 212)was facing some building.
Breakfast have limited options & it's not a buffet. Requested for a 1hr late checkout but it was denied. But while checking in we had to wait till nearly 3 to get the room(for which we didn't complain)

Stayed in a nice villa/cabin. Helpful staff. No issue with mosquitoes. Both pool areas are nice when the sun is out. Great club sandwich!

We had an absolutely amazing time at Pertiwi Bisma 1! Located a bit away from all the action, but there is a convenient shortcut thru another Pertiwi Bisma hotel to JI Monkey Forest if you love walking.
The staff was very accommodating and service was great! Cannot wait to be back!

Embedded in the nature and heart of Ubud. Choice for room (excellent and cheap) or private villa. 2 amazing pools!

Fantastic location but that's where it stops. The pools which were the main reason we booked the place were cloudy, I imagine algae was to be blamed. The pillows and mattress smell musty. We had to move from the first room cause the bathroom wasn't clean and the sheets were stained. The breakfast was pretty dire. The menu is fixed which is not a big deal apart from the fact that all the bakery is consistently burnt every single day and the only thing warm is the eggs. Everything else including the sausages and bacon is ice cold. The staff buckle under pressure and have to be repeatedly reminded to get the most simple of requests fulfilled. Balinese people are some of the nicest people we have come across but reliability and accountability at this hotel is questionable. We emailed them to notify our flight details as we were landing in the middle of the night but never heard back. The internet is also pretty poor. You have to keep logging in and even then it barely works. We landed up getting a local sim which was much more reliable. Sadly the AC in the room wasn't powerful enough too. You can't fault the location but we won't be coming back in a rush.

Great place. Quiet, surrounded by nature, but still in the heart of Ubud. I stayed in a wooden cottage, it was really comfortable, bathroom is huge, the cottage is literally surrounded by forest.
Setareh Alabbas (16/11/2016 07:03)
The service at the poolside and the room maintenance and service is terrible! Everytime you call for something it is totally ignored and forgotten about. When we complained to them that we are angry for not getting the service we deserved they once again ignore as if we are talking to the wall! Not coming back thats for sure!

Beautiful villa with the most spectacular view of Ubud's forest/jungle. Close to the Main Street, but far enough to feel a world away.
Facilities are all of high standard and service from the staff is fantastic.
I would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend to others travelling to Ubud. If you can, book a valley villa to get the best views of the forest!

amazing, real paradise. were staying in a villa. verry romantic. altough its pretty hot during the day. but he! who want's to stay inside when u have such a beautyfull pool with jungle view. ubud centrum is not far away. but there is a shutlle bus that go's to ubud centrum 5 times a day. one way btw. to go back by taxi u pay like 40 to 50k rupiah. thats like 3a 4 dollar. You can also take a shortcut trough the big pertiwi resort on monkeyroad, takes 10min. to get at the road near the hotel.
Craig Stephen Mcdonald (15/07/2015 02:17)
It's a long way from the main action make sure you have transport. Rooms poorly insulated so always hot.
Good breakfast. Safe and clean.
There are better places at better rates.
Geoff Hood (07/04/2015 04:21)
Absolutely perfect spot. The villa rooms to which they kindly upgraded me are amazing.
