Lovely staff, nice pool. That's it. It seems that describing this hotel as 'traditional Balinese' is just an excuse to not renovate the rooms. The bathrooms and baths are disgusting; the beds are comfortable and clean enough but the bedroom itself is grubby and scruffy; I had to be moved from my first room following rat-sightings on the veranda and a cockroach invasion in the middle of the night.
Breakfast was of poor quality. I didn't try anything else because of that, and if you want alcohol it's beer or nothing.
Fortunately, I was only there for the two nights (as part of a tour group) and I shan't be going back

A great value Ubud accommodation option right in the middle of everything. Very friendly service from Katut and his team we were made to feel very welcome. Very nice simple traditional rooms a great Balinese experience. However its the gardens that I loved most about this location. Despite being on a main Ubud street, Artini 2 has immaculate gardens that transport you far away. Beautiful sculptures and hanging plants down the rock face next to the pool so pretty.

Great location in Ubud, 10 minutes walk to Ubud palace and Ubud market Seem like little forest in city center, you can hear frog sound and water flowing i the adjacent rice terrace at night
Air conditioner not cool enough Poor signal free wifi No private car parking, you have to park by the street that almost full all day long

Great Staff. A steep climb to the cottage (Stairs) on the first floor.

Very quiet as it is away from the street in its own little valley. The hotel is a bit dated but that gives it its own charm. Lots of birds singing in the gardens. The pool is nice and a welcome refreshment after a day on the road.

Too many steps. No good for people that have difficulty with mobility. The staff are super helpful.

Nice rooms but the hotel grounds is what makes this place special.
Beautiful plants and flowers around the entire property. Feels secluded despite being in busy area.
We booked two rooms and one had a outdated bathroom, other was new. Very mild damp smell in rooms.

Great quiet accommodation in the centre of Ubud. Well landscaped. Didn't make 4 stars because the bathroom, although functional, wasn't very nice.

Perfect location in centre of Ubud. Thanks to its set up leading away from the Hanuman street all you hear is birds chirping and rain drops falling on the leaves of the palms in the property.

Beautiful gardens, friendly staff, close to action but quiet, spacious rooms and refreshing pool - air conditioning is an extra charge at $20/night

Great location. Nice and quiet. A bit aged but that's part of the charm.
