I love this place. If it's your first time for hiking. Don't worry this is suitable for you. But be careful with wild boar in pondok saladah, you should hang the foods on the tree for safety if you don't want wild boar coma into your tent. But there are a lot of dogs here, it will save you from wild boar. The scenery is so wonderful. I like seeing the stars at night, dead forest is awesome too for taking picture. Last, be careful with water flow otherwise you will fall like me😅

Mount Papandayan has a beautiful view. mount papandayan is the right mountain for you all beginner climber. At the beginning of the climb through the camp david you will directly face the rocky terrain. Afterwards about 15 - 20 minutes drive you will find crater papandayan. To find the best campsite you have to walk 1-2 hours climbing to Pondok Salada. From Pondok Salada you can walk to the Dead Forest, the best place where you can enjoy the sunrise. Mount papandayan in certain seasons is very cold. So make sure you prepare your climb well.

a very nice mountain to climb with, sometimes you may find so many facilities right there. keep in mind, you gotta check the weather at the very first time before you visit this mountain

Papandayan is a perfect mountain for beginners. The wind is very extreme, though, so you better bring both blanket and sleeping bag. Beware of wild boar. The magnificent one is the dead forest. Dead forest is a perfect place to take wedding photos. Almost forgot, bring a masker to protect your self from extremely stink sulfur.

Wonderful Papandayan. You'll never regret to come here. This place has amazing view. Great facility, you can find toilet in every shelter and they have humble security.

Gunung yang indah, tidak terlalu tinggi. salah satu ladang edelweis terluas di indonesia. Dengan hutan mati yang unik.

It is a good mountain for beginner. Have good view and there are already many "pondok makan", camping area and toilet.
