this is an old hotel, with a very unique toraja building, they also have new rooms (bungalows) of course in toraja house style, or you can even choose to stay in a room which is an authentic toraja house made by woods that already builded for many years.if you wish to exercise they have swimming pools, tenis court or just jogging exploring this huge area of the hotel. for me I love to sit in the gazebo, see the beautiful lime stone hill at the back of the hotel, with birds chirping in the trees surround you

I love the experience here. It's a good place with good lodging. Good and friendly service. They have a nice hat for the rain. The garden is very beautiful. But they have lots of mosquito, ants, and many different kinds of bugs. Good shower and they also have hot water (thank God). But overall, this place is very good for retreat activities and those who wants to have holidays

Good hotel. They have to pay attention for the water. It is too hot for shower.

the view is stunning, the food is okay, but there is no air-conditioner and tv shows (there is a tv but it shows nothing)

Good service, strategically located
I booked two rooms for two nights for my family. We intended to book two Tongkonan Suite, hoping to get experience living in traditional house of Toraja. But I only got one such suite, because all other such suites were booked already. So I booked one more room of another type.
We arrived at the hotel, welcomed by the hospitable hotel officer Mr. Samuel Pali. He assured us to check the suite first, before we stay at the booked room/suite. We checked the Tongkonan Suite, and while it seemed interesting to stay in such a suite, it would bring difficulties for elders in my family. So we chose two ordinary rooms. Pak Samuel was a soft-spoken man, carefully explained everything he thought we need to know.
The service of the hotel staffs were really nice. The breakfast was good and delicious. The hotel was beautifully designed even it was vast. It was full of gardens.
The hotel was strategically located. It was just a few kilometers south of Rantepao. Many of the tourist destinations were under 30 minutes drive from the hotel.

If I return to Toraja, I will come back here. The hotel has a pleasant relaxed feel to it and the rooms are well maintained and comfortable. There wasn't any AC on the basic room option, but to be fair, you don't really need it in Toraja.

I actually like the hotel. I got a room with a view to the Toraja houses. The room was clean, breakfast was also good. The gardens are also very neat. I wasn't expecting too much for a local hotel but they did their very best and I would want to appreciate this. The front office guys was awesome and helpful. The young F&B servants was also trying very best to give the most professional services. Keep up the good service!

An old hotel that should be renovated or demolished a decade ago. Expensive ($55 in 2017) compared to newer hotels, with broken WC, AC, and no Wi-Fi in the guestrooms. We can hear passersby talking outside our room. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Old-school and traditional resort. Clean, but expensive. The worst is the water inside bathroom. It flows very slow and small current. Be careful if you run warm water to shower (hot & fresh together), then someone open valve the basin or closet, fresh water in the shower will significantly decrease that hot water will hit your body directly. Danger situation...

The hotel is a really charming hotel with beautiful local wood decoration. It is in style with the surroundings. The garden is all in colourful flowers. There is a positive energy. Especially nice is to walk among the rooms and read the sayings from the Bible written on the rocks. It creates really positive and high energetic vibration. They have big pool and confectionary. The sweets are delicious. And the breakfast is fantastic. The hotel is about 3 km far from the city center but this is ok because of the loud traffic in the center. It has perfect location to start explore Tana Toraja from here. Recommend.

Used to love it. But when I came back early May 2016, it was not well maintained. Lots of ants in our room, dirty tables, it was a pretty bad one :(
