Its suffering from too few guests. Needs some maintenance, no lifts, lots of stairs. Lots of the noted amenities just didn't exist.
No spa
No gym
Bar list a great exaggeration and only open a few hours
Rooms dated and in need of modernisation. My room had a 1 meter long gap in the wall where the wooden panels didn't quite fit any more. The gap around the balcony door was quite noticeable.
I'm slightly disabled and the first room they offered was up 3 flights of stairs. The second was still up a steep flight of stairs. There were vacant rooms on ground level, but they were never offered.
The noise from venues off property at night was quite loud. This would only effect rooms near forefront gate.
Staff great, but let down by poor knowledge.
It was a great hotel about 10 years ago.
Restaurant is ok. Food too bland. I was the only guest last night.
Pool great.

- The best hotel located in Rantepao, North Toraja
- 10 minutes to reach Kete Kesu
- 20 to 30 minutes to reach Lolai, it depend on the traffict and the time you start...pls start early morning at 04.30 to get parking in Lolai.
- Nice room with Tongkonan style room
- AC is not available
- Good swimming pool..for kid and adult. Free towel available
- Big restaurant..would be better to improve the variety of the food.

Hotel with a high class served. Located in the south east of Rantepao town, it takes aproximately 5 minutes from the centre of Rantepao. Located in a quite place, but it makes the guest to reach the famous traditional village, Ke'te' Kesu'.

The traditional home of Toraja or tongkonan is used as the design of some hotel's cottages which are so gorgeous n offers a unique experience to stay in a hotel. The staff are friendly n the breakfast is amazingly good for a small town...the amenities are good for taking photos or selfies...

Nice and vast room with Toraja-styled decoration! Nice location, good for birders who happen to visit Toraja.

The place is novel as you stay in traditional boat shaped houses, breakfast was quite good with croissants and other western stuff. The water never got hot enough to take a bath, just a warm shower, our blind was broken too. Not good value for money as it needs to be kept better.

Hotel with nice environtment and helpfull/polite staff. But poor service quality due to less knowledgeable and unskilled staff. Need to improve staff skills/knowledge.

Is pity about this Hotel, is poorly managed. From the front office, concierge and restaurant is totally far from good service. When I was stay there, some tourist from Europe in group was complaining because food's (buffet) not enough, and the quality of food not up to standard

Cozy place to enjoy Toraja highlands, but a bit expensive for local pockets

We stayed for one night last week at Toraja Heritage Hotel, so lucky we can do very early check-in, free of charge yeaaay, since our bus arrived at 5 AM. Fresh air all the way, room with Tongkonan custom house is really nice, really enjoy our coffee time on the balcony. We managed to took a picture under the bright stars :-).
Need fix on some of facilities though.
Thank you, very recommended, yes I have check other hotels in Rantepao, this is the best place.
