Bandara kualanamu international Medan yang berada Di kawasan pantai labu utara kabupaten deli serdang merupakan bandara baru Di ibukota Sumatera utara setelah Bandara polonia. Saat ini bandara hanya memiliki 1 terminal dan 1 landasan. Merupakan gerbang barat Indonesia menjadikan Bandara ini selalu sibuk setiap harinya. Bersih, terang menjadikan Bandara ini nyaman tapi kurangnya tumbuhan hijau menjadikan Bandara ini tidak asri tidak alami. Beroperasi belum 24 jam hanya sekitar 20 jam memiliki 4 pulau meja layanan pelanggan untuk melakukan check-in. Juga ada 8 mesin layanan check-in mandiri untuk penumpang pesawat yang tidak meletakkan tas Di bagasi pesawat.

The wifi is so slow. And why there is must be a security check (x-ray) at international departure after the immigration checkpoint? It's not efficient at all.
After all, for the services and infrastructures, Kualanamu is one of the best airports in Indonesia. Hope soon to be better, especially the officers must rid off every careless smokers, build more smoking areas. If they did it, the atmosphere would be better.

First time here, dan wow..still amazes me. It is trully an international airport, huge and magnificent. It's located in Deli Serdang, so you need to take another ride to travel to Medan. It has buses, train, large parking lot. With city bus directly to Medan, you'll have to pay 20 thousand rupiahs, air conditioned bus, one and a half hour ride. With train, you'll have to pay 100thousand rupiahs, but 30 minutes ride to Medan, and with sophisticated train.

Fantastic Airport...I have no idea that it's gonna be this good..
I noticed that the AirCon doesn't work properly, even for me, that doesn't really care about freezing aircon, still too hot!

One of the best airports in Indonesia. If you want to go to Nias Island. This Airport brings you. Many other destinations connected by Kualanamu International Airport. Come and enjoy at North Sumatra.

Good airport, not quite big but it cover all facilities. An accident happen when arrived here, a child leg was confined in the escalator. The airport staff hurry help the mom. Need to have clear warning not to let children under age 5 to walk by their self.

This airport is surely one of the most clean and futuristic airport in Indonesia. Takes few hours from here to Medan. The architecture is great. Good place to take some picture.

So far great modern airport at Indonesia. A lot of F&B outlets, fashion stores, mini market, good transportation connectivity especially rail service to the city. WiFi quality is not bad but need to be improved. Clean toilet. Green environment. The operator needs to increase the service quality and facilities to be able to compete with other international airport at the region

The first airport is equipped with Railink System in terms of facilitating efficent time in travel to and from airport itself. The Kuala Namu Airport is named as international standard airport, great experience of food lover and located in Deli Serdang regency. There are many choices for land transportation to go anywhere nearby.

But quite good enough for Indonesia People. The first airport that have Airport Railink to Medan. It's Exclusive just from Medan to KNO or KNO to Medan

One of the best airport in indonesia! It’s HUGE, got so many shops and restaurant. The integrated transportation is superb too! The toilet is clean, and the check-in counter is enormous. The interior design is great, modern with indonesian touch!

One of the Best International Airport in Indonesia. its New and Modern. also it is the first Indonesia Airport that has been integrated with RailLink (Airport Train) so you can easily reach Downtown just by taking this train. And, one of the most important thing is, this is the prides airport for North Sumatra Community. it need 30 minutes by train to go to this airport, and less then 1 hour if you go by car or via the public road.

From my point of view, this airport should be considered as the 2nd biggest and modern airport in Indonesia after new terminal 3 ultimate in Jakarta. One of the Indonesian development. Clean, Comfortable and modern.

Very nice international airport, clean, big area, full of public facilities that needed by customer. They also have integrated public transportation (train) if we want to go to city center.

Large modern airport with all facilities in place. Enough to do if you need to wait during transfers. The areas are clean and have sufficient place to sit back.

Nice airport facilities. Such as
Free wifi. Free Rest area allow u to lying down.
Cons:
1. It is about 1+hours from Medan city.
2. Don't buy sim inside the airport building when u arrived. Just walk out, u can find stall selling same brand with much cheaper rate!

Yes, it is one of the best airports in Indonesia, but Ngurah Rai Airport on Bali is more nice. I like the train to airport, because the traffic in Medan is always very heavy and crazy. There could be chargers directly at waiting chairs. At international departure terminal aren't cheap indonesian restaurants, so when your flight is delayed you cannot to go to eat somewhere out.

Staff is rude. They asked for my student card that is stupid, the last time i check student card is not required when traveling with parents plus it is not a legal document. Airport is very small. Waiting rooms are insufficient and tiles has a stupid colour. Restrooms look like a gas station Restrooms. Honestly I prefer Soekarno Hatta Airport.

Modern airport around 40km outside of Medan. You can either take a train (100k IDR), Bus (around 25k IDR) or a Taxi (100k-150k IDR) to get to the city center.

This is my first time here. The security check is a bit strict. I need to take off my jacket while only using undershirt beneath. A bit show off my killer body. Lol. Overall, it's a nice airport.

Place itself is neat and tidy, there's a bit about it that reminds you of Singapore's Changi Airport. However it's really far from the city, in which traveling by car takes about an hour (going roughly 70mph/120kmh). Highway to the airport is pretty scary, as there's no street lights. There's also train service to and from the town center, costing IDR 100.000,- per seat.

Great airport especially on the departure side. The arrival side are average in my opinion. They have railink train service to bring you to Medan downtown with 100k++/person. But if you travell in 2-4 people, the Blue bird taxi are good choice for 200k IDR++.

The best international airport in Indonesia in my opinion. The toilets are clean and so is the airport, the temperature is cool, and the wifi is good. So recommended for you who would like to travel to North Sumatera.

This airport clean and have good standard. If you come to Medan for visit Lake Toba and samosir island thats need 4hours heading. Just go to taxi counter named "nice taxi" the cost is 80k

A modern, clean airport. This airport is suitable sized for the current number of travelers. The wifi coverage is excellent and so is the wifi speed.
