Not recommended for people who wants to see animals. This zoo is just too tiny with minim animal collections, I prefer going to Siantar Zoo over Simalingkar one. Nb: never visit this place when rain season, the smell is not good. Ticket price: IDR20K.

This place needs help. It has potential but not well managed. I felt pity for the animals. And by the way why is everybody smoking here? And why is everybody seems to try to sell something here?

Sorry to say, that it is not really good. I don't even recommend you to visit this. It is called zoo. But I just found some poor animals there. Oh... Very bad.
The management is not good. The entrance fee is quite cheap but it will bee useless coming there. You know. I went there for refreshing ma mind, but I am stuck to see the condition of the zoo, the poor animals. The animals look like hunger.

They don't actually have that vary of animals. They only have a few of them. And this zoo actually better be used as outbond place in Medan, North Sumatera. They are better in maintaining and performing the outbond thing. Again, if you want the zoo things, you better go to another city's zoo.

I was only stopping by in the parking area on weekdays. This zoo was too quiet at that time. Probably it was weekdays then this place was very quiet. But cozy enough to stay, because there were so many trees in the surrounding.
It was located near Perumnas Simalingkar, close to Kuala Bekala.

Very bad for a zoo. Not many animal varieties. So many people smoking there, smoking should really be prohibited in the zoo.

Banyak hewan koleksi yg kurang sehwt nampaknya. Kurang dirawat tempatnya. Tolong pak di tingkatkan lagi perawayan tempatnya. Karena zoo itu sangat penting until memperkenalkan anak2 kepada Alam Dan hewan.

The medan zoo located at Simalingkar regency, at weekend quitely fully visited by family around Medan City people or outside city coming to this zoo to look around various animal.

Riding on an elephant is the most exciting thing to do here. Place looks neglected. Very cheap entrance.

Jika kita kesini bkn kegembiraan yg ada, melainkan kesedihan melihat kondisi hewan dan kandang yg mayoritas tak diurus dgn baik, tak tega melihat hewan2 yg kelaparan serta gerakannya yg lemah seperti sakit, perlu perhatian dari unit terkait, serta pengawasan dari LSM atas pengelolaan tempat ini sebelum terjadi hal yg lbh memilukan lagi ;(

Tempat ini memiliki lahan yang cukup luas.
Namun koleksi satwa masih sangat minim.
Udara di tempat ini masih segar, karna banyak di tumbuhi pohon dan dekat dengan perkebunan warga.
Jika satwa di tempat ini lebih lengkap dan ditanami aneka jenis tanaman yang menarik.
Maka tempat ini menjadi objek wisata yang sempurna untuk mengenal dan mempelajari berbagai jenis flora dan fauna.

Nice. Tapi binatang dan keteribannya kurang. But this is awesome
