Old room with extra minimum lighting. Only 2 socket available for charging handphone, at the corner of the room ,very difficult to find, not easy to reach . Old toilet. Room is very spacious though. No WiFi. Water kettle is dirty

The hotel has a great location for hikers looking to climb Mt. Sibayak and Mt. Sinabung as it is close to all the starting trails. What we found lacking was that there were no air conditioning units nor fans in the hotel room that we were given. The weather is cool but the rooms get insulated so we had to open the windows. And there were no mosquito nets so we were getting bitten the whole night and had difficulties sleeping. We also requested for a hair dryer that never arrived and upon a second request they told us they did not have any. The only saving grace would be the friendly and polite the staff. Unfortunately requires better facilities and amenities to live up to the 4-star rating it has and expensive rates.

I've been there for so many times, warm and smiling staff. Delicious Food, clean room and good price. But the building need for renovation.

Tried to get in touch with the hotel on whether if there is a possible free cancellation or partial refund weeks before my stay. Even if you're not able to do so, at least REPLY to my email. How do you expect us travelers to trust on your service when you can't even reply your customers?
It has been almost 2 weeks. I'm seriously doubting about the 4-star rating.

Paid 600k for an overnight stay in a cottage and that's probably the worst decision of my entire trip to Medan. The room was dated and shabby, hot water wasn't working properly, the curtains were dirty and the sockets were loose. If the room was priced at 200k I might have closed an eye.
Hotel staff did arrange a take away breakfast consisting nasi goreng and some cut fruits when I went out for a morning trek to Gunung Sibayak. The breakfast was decent so that helped redeem a star.
I'm sure there are better establishments out there in Berastagi. Passed by the Grand Mutiara and that looked so much more appealing.

Air was cooling despite the lack of any fans or air conditioner. The seats in the room are blocked off by the beds but worry not as there are still seats outside the room. The bathing facilitie includes a bath tub but nothing to stop the water from being drained so it ends up as a normal standing shower.

No Aircon. Shower head was broken. No kettle, or hairdryer. WiFi did not work in the rooms. Pretty basic.

Friendly staffs, food is good. The room is OK though it could be cleaner. Had to adapt with 3 headers outlet to plugged in my laptop charger. One of the meeting room is large enough to accomodate many people. Stayed September 2016.

Northern Sumatra Island is generally humid and hot but the hotel is on a mountain, keeping humidity down and temperatures at comfortable levels. Hotel facilities are clean and well maintained and staff are friendly.

Located close to the town centre, I found this place to be nice and cosy. Good service as well as any request did not take more than 10 minutes to be done (sent hot water on under 10 minutes).

Chalet concept of rooms are appreciable yet they were outdated and the cleanliness could be improved. You might forget them meanwhile enjoying the climate.

Love the tropical space. And the bedroom was good.
But for the food, i think they have to improve the spicy in their recipe.
