Global Village is great place to have a few cold drinks, or hot ones, and relax in the unique garden setting. A good variety of meals are also available. Music videos are played on the big screen at night time to add to the atmosphere. There is a large assortment of locally produced products for sale ranging from herbs and spices to wood carvings and many things you won't find anywhere else. Its a non profit place that supports the local needy. The staff are very friendly and helpful and everything is well priced. Well worth dropping in for a look while in Lovina.

Really great cafe/restaurant/bar, came here 3 times during our few day stay in Lovina. Happy to see nonprofit that supports the poor/disabled/education for those in need in Bali.

The atmosphere is wonderful and the place is very cozy. Prices are very reasonable (plus happy hour for drinks 4-7.30pm), and all the profits go for the NGO work. Food is excellent and if you have western food carvings then this is the right place. Can highly recommend the tomato soup, chicken with mashed potato and chilli chicken burger.

The menu has a great selection of foods from all around the world. Our meals were delicious. Service was great and everything was reasonable priced. We also purchased some bracelets from the goods for sale. It was great to know it's a non profit restaurant helping get kids to school and helping those with a disability that prevents them from working. We also had the opportunity to make a donation. Please go and support this great initiative.

C’mon sisters and brothers — If you’re going to spend your hard-earned money on a delicious meal or a fine coffee, give it with all your blessings to this wonderful place full of wonderful people.

Everything about this cafe is aligned with its mission to serve the underprivileged people in Bali. Health care isn’t free here; school isn’t either. Global Village helps put kids in school, as many as WE can afford, and helps keep them safe and their families healthy.

What’s more, when you dine here, you get to eat your karma — the tastiest of dishes — lovingly prepared, joyfully served and reasonably priced. The extensive menu is a compendium of great recipes from around the world.

I’ve come here every day I’ve been in Lovina since first discovering it. Food here is much more than just food. Know what I mean?

Nice selection of fair trade crafts items, bath products... something for everyone on your gift list.

Please treat yourself and stop by. They stay open late!

Huge selection of food. I tried the chicken balti. Delicious. Really good value and decent happy hour prices on beer.

Hmm.. i ordered carbonara, And what i got is not what i expected. Their cat has many furry and he sat in the table where people use that table for earing! The decoration is okay but too much for me.

We will definitely return.

Good atmosphere and nice food at ok price. Great that the profits go to supporting disabled in Bali. Portions a little small though.

Niki Moylan (05/08/2017 12:23)

Neat intimate space away from road. Lovely staff, great menu and crafts for sale in a non pushy way. I highly recommend Vanilla shake!

Excellent price-quality, although the (balinese) dishes where not more than standard.
Hippy-kind of place!
Friendly service and very attentive too kids.
The place might need a small cleanup.
+ for the local involvement

What a colourful and individual little find ... My wife said as we walked in. Very welcoming with a great menu and profits to the local community ... Can't see why you would go anywhere else for lunch

Great place to chill, have a drink and some food.
The juices are tasty, especially the lemon and ginger juice (ask for honey instead of sugar!).
The Indonesian food is very tasty but portions are a bit small. I have the idea smaller portions are typical for this area?
Coffee is good and even was temped to try the crepe with nutella and banana which was nice.
Friendly staff.
Happy hour starts at 4pm and wifi is free.
Cheers

Super nice place and very good affordable food!! Had the shakshuka and it was awesome! Only downside: Pretty loud as it's located at the main road

It is a hiding cafe, with good food and drinks, cool musics and cozy atmosphere. The staffs are helpful and nice. You can buy some local products and art and craft stuffs here, donate to support local.

Great not for profit cafe assisting to educate and house very poor families and children. Great fresh organic food and juices. Good coffee and cold beer. Buy a T-Shirt and some hand made things and support a great cause.

Florian Neumann (27/10/2016 02:16)
We never eat great food so cheap and still support local people. If you can go there and enjoy your dinner/lunch. And later give the same amount of your bill for charity and it's still cheap.

Winnie Sham (09/10/2016 23:15)
Went twice in a day. Their food was simple and delicious, and with great Balinese flavours. The atmosphere was friendly, busier at night.

Supposed to be a non-profit organisation supporting local initiatives such as basic access to education and healthcare, with a free book exchange and small corner selling local handicraft. Supporting a good cause. Visited in October 2016.

Alice Shevchenko (15/10/2016 11:16)
Good atmosphere but bad cousin. And staff cheat with wine quantity in glasses.

Andrea Krueger (29/09/2016 06:16)

Good food for a great cause. Cool, laid back setting. This is a nice place.

Stefi Bozhilova (12/09/2015 02:54)
We really loved the place although the light is unsuffient inside and it's way too dark by my opinion.
The waitress was really nice, the food came fast and the portions were huge! We couldn't eat everything and took the rest for home.
We ordered vegetarian pizza (amazing!) and Egyptian koshari. This + 1 beer was only 84 thousand ruppees. Very cheap place. Totally worth going!

Yu Bonnie (08/08/2015 04:41)
Beautifully designed cafe off the main road provides a shaded break from the sun. Flowering trees provide a shaded canopy over tables while plants and vines surround you. Reasonably priced food and drinks with a good selection of international foods. There is a 'handicraft gallery' that sells spices, hand-made soaps, lotions, body scrubs and shampoos. Very much worth a visit.
