We came in big group and stayed in Singa & Madu.
Singa is a trackmark of Sumberkima , can fit 11pax. Big, clean pool which u can spend whole day in the villa. The restaurant just next to Singa.
Those villas is own by different owners, u may have different amenities. Example Singa have water dispenser but Madu not.
Madu can fit 6pax, also have private pool.
The open concept of toilet is amazing.
At least 2-3 night here, u will find the beauty of Sumberkima.

Quiet hotel on the hill with stunning view. Very spacious room with big terrace. The pool is nice too with beautiful sea view. The food at the restaurant is delicious and it's the only option if you dont have a transport as the hotel is far from the town. The downside is only the bed is squeaky. And it takes 15 min by scooter to go to the sea for snorkeling.

Had an absolutely incredible stay at Sumberkima Hill in the Luhwih 3 room for 6 nights. The location and view was spectacular. The room was spacious, clean and well designed. (Seems all the rooms & all the villas are very well done). Food at the restaurant was delicious. The staff and the owners all so nice - this place truly is a hidden gem! And for the rates it is a steal. Highly recommended and look forward to returning in the future

Stayed at Sumberkima Hill for four nights. Was a gorgeous place to stay, lovely views, very nice facilities. The staff were the highlight, very friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend and want to go back

I've been staying at Sumberkima hill retreat for about a week and it has been an absolutely delightful stay! My initial plan was to stay two days but I ended up spending a week there since I liked it so much! If you're looking for a place away from the busy south of Bali, where you can relax and take it easy, this is the place to be! As soon as I arrived I was welcomed by Bernard and his wife Jane who manage the accommodation, I immediately felt comfortable since they are very friendly and helpful. The villa's are amazing and so are the views of the surrounding area. I'd been staying in the busy south for a while and was very keen to find some rest in a more quiet area surrounded by nature. I was apprehensive at first since places like these are hard to find on touristy Bali, regardless I decided to give it a go and I couldn't have picked a better place, it had what I was looking for. The beaches are a few minutes away from the resort and are nice to spend some time, especially if you like snorkeling. There are some amazing snorkeling spots at the near beaches and they provide Boat excursions to the reefs that are a little more out, absolutely worth paying a visit! I had a really good time snorkeling and diving in the area.
In the restaurant they offer a variety of local and western cuisine, I had both and it was delicious! The fruit bowl for breakfast was exceptionally good!
Summarized I can say that my stay at the Sumberkima Hill Retreat has been amazing! The perfect place to relax but at the same time there is a lot of entertainment if you want to do something and Bernard and Jane can help and provide you with any activity you would like to do in the area! I can't think of any complaints so therefore a definite 5 star rating and a place I will return to in the future for sure!! I rarely place reviews on tripadvisor unless a place really deserves it!
Can't wait to go back !

At Sumberkima we were pleasently surprised by the stunning views of the landscape surrounding the retreat. The view of the bay immediately there while waking up in one of the Luwih's (even from the shower) or the hills from Julielele.
I especially appreciated the contemporary simplicity of Luwih! Everything fresh including the comfortable beds.
And there's a good restaurant too.
All in all I would definitely recommend a stay here even for one or two nights, if within your budget.

Wonderful place in nowhere land.. so quite, 5 minutes to sea by bike, good cuisine and very gently staff. Clean rooms. For me one of the best in Bali!!

We just held our Yoga retreat at Sumberkima over 7 days with a group of 9 people and WOW! My review covers 2 things - taking a group here or using it for your own personal holiday. Either way, you're in paradise with a hands-on owner, friendly & efficient staff & management, & wide range of activities to choose from including very special local experiences (should you be looking for this). This area of Bali is magnificent but Sumberkima Hill is positioned against the hills to make the most of the unspoiled tropical forest &coastline views, even of the mountains of Java. This makes every sunset & sunrise a personal heaven, as if the world is holding its breath - our Yoga classes were held at this time from their beautifully custom-built Yoga platform. Bernard & his wife appreciate this area so much that it's completely natural for them to want to open it up for your experience - right down to a private island BBQ (where we did our first sunset yoga class), something that has to be planned around the tides for when the island exists! The villas are beautiful, each with a beautiful pool & relaxation space. Great restaurant food is very well priced & so are the spa treatments. With views & accommodation like this, you could decide to do nothing but look out over the land all day & you'll still reach nirvana!

Quiet and relaxing place in the nature. Our villa was fantastic, loved our pool and the interior design. The restaurant has a beautiful view and delicious food for fair prices. I would recommend this place to everyone who wants to escape from the crowded South when you are in Bali!

Wonderful place! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They have the best English out of all the hotels we've been to so far. Gorgeous villas with beautiful views and the food is not expensive! The owners are personable and will give you detailed information about all of the attractions. There's lots to do in the area.
We also loved Erna the yoga instructor. She also spoke great English and came to our villa to give us private lessons. Would definitely recommend this place!

Far away from hustle/bustle. Prayers from the Sumberkima mosque still audible though. Great to chill and relax.

Outstanding atmosphere and facilities. It's fantastic. But they are not ready to be perfact. I was not satisfied with details like amenities, dishes(not clean) and etc. But still so great. It's gonna be 5 star private villa soon.

Best place we stayed at during our holidays in Bali and Java! Amazing villa with a great view and a spectacular pool. They arranged a private snorkeling trip for us and the staff went out of there way to make our stay memorable. I would definitely recommend one of their villas to anyone looking for a nice peaceful stay in Bali.
