DON‘T STAY HERE!! The man called Diddy seems friendly but in real he is a bad man! The staff also stole from us when we were at the diving tour.. He also brought us a guy who sold us a diving tour included a dolphin tour, scooters and transport, but it was a real rip off because he promised us so many things and we got not even the half of them! After the tour we tried to find him but Diddy lied to us and said he can‘t find him.. he‘s a really bad man! By the way the rooms were also really dirty! Stay away from this place and especially from this guy!

Our driver brought us here and we decided to stay without much thought because it seemed old but clean, and the location was great. After reading other reviews about staff stealing from guests, I confronted the "head of security" and he assured me that would not happen to me and denied that any staff members ever stole from guests. Since he seemed in denial we decided to keep our valuables on us. After being gone all morning, nothing was taken from our room. The rooms were clean but old. The staff was very friendly with us. The breakfast (banana pancake) was very yummy! There is no wifi in the rooms, only in the lobby area. There is also a nice looking pool for guests to use.

Additionally, we booked a dolphin tour through our hotel and it was amazing! We were on the boat "Seawalker" and he did a wonderful job. We stayed out the entire time and saw many dolphins. You can walk right to the boat launch from the hotel.

Me and some friends been robbed by the workers. They knew we were on the dolphin tour, and they came to ours rooms and stole some money

Our planned hostel was full, and so a man we met on the street offered us this hotel rooms. They were enough for us and we decided to stay there, when a really intrusive man always came to our room, followed us to the beach and pushed us to book a dolphin tour. When we told him he should give us some space and we will contact him if we want to book, he got really angry and screamed at us. We didn't feel comfortable in the hotel anymore, and when we wanted to check out, we should pay the whole amount of the rooms, without even staying there. After a long discussion, we had to pay half of the price, bit still for nothing, just to be not followed again by the scary man.

The room was really dirty, especially bathroom. There were no sheets, and they don't wash or change the blankets between customers (we saw when they repaired our room for the next customers). The locks on the door are not proper ones. WiFi didn't work at all. The room was full of light coming from outside all night and the workers started loud garden jobs at eight in the morning.
You didn't know who where really staff there and who where not, because also not staff people made contracts with you and took your money.
We booked the dolphin trip through them, which was a mistake. We were promised that normally the length is 1.5 hours but we can be longer if we want. In the end, our boat driver arrived in the morning and then disappeared for 20 minutes, so we just waited there at six in the morning and missed part of the sunrise. When he came back, we were suddenly changed to another boat with many more people.
After one hour, the driver of the boat turned to go back to the hotel. We had to negotiate to get him turn around and give for us at least that 1.5 hours which is promised in every hotel's dolphin trip. Rest of the trip he mostly spoke on the phone with little interest to do his job.
When we gave feedback in the hotel about our stay in there and told we were not satisfied, they got mad at us.

Everything in this hotel seems old, used, not repaired and outdated. That being said, it's a very nice hotel, even beautiful. It has nice cottages with lovely flowers in between and a smaller swimming pool. Welcome drink is accompanied by selling overpriced diving and snorkeling trips which you can decline. Nice terrace and an interesting bathroom with stones in the shower and open roof shower. Fairly priced rooms. Free breakfast. Free WiFi at the reception is fast, but the signal doesn't reach the rooms.

Very bad address. Hot rooms, old mastress, insects biting into beds. To be avoided !!

Manager is very nice, price local standard but you can bargain, the rooms have enough space, a little bit dirty, the bathroom has a western toilet but the lid was loose, bathtub not for every taste, no hot water, but that's not necessary here, sink, no AC but fan, swimming pool relatively clean but no chloride, breakfast included (1 banana pancake or 1 toast with jam and a coffee or tea), they'll send someone from a tour agency after you check in which you can deny, locals asked or individually done are the tours cheaper you just have to inform yourself a bit

It's old, the room was clean, bathroom - not so much, pretty cheap. We were the only guests, pretty quiet. Probably fastest wifi on the island. Breakfast ok, just a pancake and a tea.

I started this review with three stars, while staying here:
We got picked up from a hotel worker after not checking in at another hotel (too expensive for us) and followed him to have a look at this hotel.
The bungalows looked nice on the first view and so we decided to stay. A guy called Rico gave us drinks and wanted to do the regular chit chat with us, but as we had a long self drive we friendly asked to skip everything and check in. Than he put a map of Lovina on the table and stared talking about diving with dolphins. Then we realized, that he didn't even work for the hotel. I just asked to talk about it tomorrow, even if we'd never do these animal disgraceful dives and he took of.
Than a hotel worker came and we started talking about the price. Two rooms, three people should be 300k a night. Suddenly the promised discount for staying a couple of nights was not possible anymore and hot water costs 50k extra per night per room.
For whatever reason we checked in anyways - bad mistake!

We were given one roll of toilet paper for three people and two rooms and it was a bit of a problem to get another one. No service within three days. No.service.at.all!
The bins are in front of the rooms, but were not emptied within the first three days, so we dumped our rubbish in the bins of the other, empty, bungalows - they got emptied right away.
Usually we deny to get fresh blankets everyday, but here we were not even asked. Never. No room service at all. No cleaning, neither inside, nor outside, not even fresh towels - at the third day we asked for it and it took a couple of times to get them, same as the toilet paper.

Of course we were not given the room we were brought to before checking in. Our rooms were dirty, had no fresh beddings, cigarette butts in the shower (I picked up seven, just from the top layer of stones) and a broken fan which a had to repair by myself.

There is free Wi-Fi in the 'lounge area' but in the evening the staff is sitting there, watching Indonesian YouTube with turned up speakers and you won't even think about relaxing.

Oh, and after checking in we were given the bill for our drinks AND the one the diving guy had! Also a bit overpriced for this county. Probably because we denied the dive..

And don't even bother asking to upgrade your fan-only room to one with ac - they don't want you to pay the price difference, instead you shall pay the full price for the new room.

Yes, it is cheap, but you get less than year you pay for.

Emilia Eckerlid (13/10/2016 12:31)
This hotel was cheap yes, but we were severely scammed by his diving friend, unfortunately. Just been driving for almost 3 h from Ubud, we were tired and everything was in a hurry, in with the bags, from one guy to the next, everybody needing an answer NOW. We were a bit insecure about it since it was so rushed and we did not think clearly with them demanding an answer on the spot. Confused and stressed we said yes and two days later when we checked the price we could have gotten the same experience for half the price about 145 USD instead of 300 USD. If they set you up for diving - do not say yes they will unfortunately try to trick you. We were too gullable, I hope you won't be!

The staff on the hotel on the other hand was very friendly to us! But the diver friend was nowhere to be found.

Комнаты убираются не после каждого клиента. Бельё на кровати серое.
Будьте готовы, если до рассвета уйдете на рыбалку, организованную менеджером отеля, что в вашей комнате побывают гости и проверят ваш достаток.

Dirtiest bathroom in our 3 month southeast asia backpacking trip. Staff has no clue about preparing a room or cleaning. We were very happy we only stayed for one night and left very early in the morning.
