An Art Café, milk Black tea, wisdom words, mountain, mists, marketplace
I fall for this place. I certainly will go back.
A Serendipity. Unintentionally find this place while walk around Merta Sari traditional market and taking pictures of a ruin of a former Irish bar. An orange café in the corner, at the back end of the market. An art café, a souvenir, arts, and
paintings shop café, a quiet and comfortable place, a very clean and decent place, view to the traditional market, village, mountain and the mist. Look around the place while waiting for my warm milk black tea and toast bread to be ready, reading a lot wisdom words on poster or painted on wood, which deeply, reflective, contemplative, inspiring, funny, but also can bring sadness for things that may be true in our lives written all over the place on this mountain café.
Watching the Balinese people in the crowded marketplace from the window on the second floor, seeing how the
mountain people live their lives daily. Seeing the locals outside the touristy place is interesting, getting local and looking behind the stage.
And in the afternoon, the mists start to come down, everything turns misty. Stores start to turn on the lights.
At six, most shops are closed. I heard sounds of motorbikes and headlights, the people rush to go home. And I myself has
to go back to Enjung Beji too before it becomes too dark. I bought some inspiring postcards then thinking how lovely this place.
I must go back.
