Nice place and enjoyable water fall area. One bad thing is no way to swim or play with kids. Just come see, take photograph and leave.

Another spectacular waterfall Balinese style. The usual nominal entrance fee and vendors abound. Not too many tourists as with some of the more popular spots. If you are a waterfall junky, definitely stop by. Perhaps 500m from parking, not a ridiculous number of steps, clean and well kept. Don’t be tempted to take your scooter down as the locals may, it may cost you a trip to the medical facilities... :)

The waterfalls of Munduk are maybe one of the hidden pearls of Bali. As most tourist visit one of the many temples in the country, it is often heared that tourist want something different. If dont mind a little hike into the forest on this hill side the waterfall forms a great alternative. Hidden at this average roadside building is a muddy path into the forest. After somewhat like 100m the road contieus as a concrete path downhill. At the end of the path away from traffic about 500m into the forest you will hear the signs of running water nearby. A couple of other tourist will be already staring and taking pictures of something you would soon discover a remarkeble beautiful place. This is a perfect place the amaze yourself about natures beauty. Something else and far more quite but certainly more interesting than the millions of temples in Bali. Try to discover this hidden pearl.

The waterfall was intense! So massive and majestic! So worth the trek!

Beautiful scenery. Not far from the road. Not too difficult to access. You have to pay to get to the waterfall.

Not much to do but a nice view, though the water wasn't clear. Toilets could be cleaner. The 20.000 IDR entry fee was overpriced for the location.

History repeated itself when the Dutch expanded their colonial empire from Java to Bali. They too reached South Bali through the Village of Munduk, and subsequently used it as a mountain retreat from the administrative capital of Singaraja. The first guest house for Dutch officers was opened at Munduk in 1908. The Dutch brought colonial architecture to Munduk Village, along with traditional export commodities such as coffee, cocoa, cloves and vanilla.

It costs about 30 IDR for two people to see this waterfall but definitely worth it! The photo should say it all! It can get a little slippery getting down to the falls, wear good shoes. The hike down isn’t longer than 10 minutes.

Beautiful waterfall, and the routes that lead to them. Not too many tourists. And there is no entrance fee like the otherone in the area.

Lovely waterfall. It's a bit of a steep walk back up, but quiet worth it. Go see it if in the area.

Nice place. Beautiful waterfalls. Can be crowded on weekends or holidays. Fun and not too long hike. Worth the walk.

Relatively easy hike down to waterfall. 20mins or so on paved path. Small entrance fee required.
Recommended if you want an easy hike and still get to enjoy a waterfall.

Peaceful spot to spend an hour. It is a bit of a walk down to the waterfall (and back up after). Good photo opportunity, we enjoyed our visit.

Nice waterfalls at the end of an easy path through the forest. You can start from the temple on top of Taman Sari hotel, and follow the trail along the canal.

I have visited this waterfall in last may,is so cold becouse there was raining,but...we kept going on...hehhehe
Frank Nusteling (20/07/2016 11:08)
Try to visit when your close; The walk to it takes 5-10m on a small path through, what looks like the heart of the forest, and when you get there it will be great, you can feel all the rain drops touch your face, which is actually quite cold, but all in all a fun little experience in the big journey you are on.

The best waterfall view in Bali with a natural situation and not so touristic place. You should be here....!!!!

Nice walk to a beautiful waterfall. There is a fairly easy (if steep) path, but I'd recommend getting a guide for a more interesting walk and detail on the local flora.
Rasmus Toome (06/04/2016 08:07)
One of many waterfalls in Bali. Not as awesome is Sekumpul but there's few more around Munduk waterfall so fair enough

Best attraction in Melanting village, Munduk. Take you to the right nature, authentic and fresh your brain

Very nice waterfall. Entrance is 5000rp, easy to find and easy to walk.
In rush hour time many people.
