Parkir luas.

I'm not sure if we were just lucky or we timed it well but we pretty much had these baths to ourselves. We got there at about 1:30 in the afternoon in the middle of a thunder storm which was perfect. Cold rain and warm baths is the perfect combination. Only 20k to get in, 3k for motorbike parking and 5k for locker hire. There are 3 pools, the top is the hottest and drains into the largest and coolest pool. Off to the side is a small pool with the best massage water. Tours seem to arrive at about 3pm and then it gets really busy!! Only downside is the change room smelt like a bath room and they make you pay to use the toilet. I thought they'd want to encourage people not to pee in the pools...

On Bali and not hot enough?
Try holy hot springs in the mountains in the north of Bali.
Entrance fee 20k idr.
Not very crowdy during my visit.
Can recommend.

It was more of a warm water spring than hot water spring. Nice area, with lots of greenery around. Facilities to shower and locker are available.

Highly recommended. Nice place to chill after long drive, specially in rainy weather would be nice to visit.

This should be named as โwarm springโ because the water really is not hot at all. Also the water is dirty looking in the pools. Only tourists visiting. The pools itself look authentic with the decorations etc. But unfortunately cannot recommend this place. If you want to experience the real hot springs with hot natural water go rather to the Banyuwedang Hot Spring.

I wondered about going to a hot springs in 80-90 degree weather. I was pleasantly surprised that it was a delightful experience. There are several pools to soak in but my favorite was the one with three spouts with streams of water falling down about 10 feet. What a great massage standing under one of the streams. There is also a lovely Temple above the Hot Springs.

A good site to relax and enjoy oneself. The parking space can be quite limited during busy periods, and you have to walk quite a distance to reach the place itself. The place offers some souvenir shops which sell clothing, wood carving, etc. The place is clean and there's a changing room available. There's also a restaurant.

Lovely hot springs with a pool to swim and 2 other areas to sit under falling water. Slightly sulphur smelling, but not too bad.

Was a little challenging to find, but rewarding after a long day riding and exploring Bali. It could use a little TLC and clean up of the surrounding grounds, but the hot pools themselves were good.

Amazing natural hot spring in the northern Bali, the panorama even is incredible, and the water is believed to heal any sickness...Restaurant and souvenirs shop are plenty enough to spoil our shopping of local products, Absolutely recommended to visit..๐๐๐๐๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฒ๐จ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฏ๐๐๐๐

More like a swimming pool in jungle. Don't be misguided by word "hot". Water is at room temperature.
Adam van de Kraats (28/09/2017 10:00)
Convenient lockers and changing rooms available for cheap. An interesting place to take a quick dip in the water. Be prepared because water is murky from springs and algae grows in it.

refreshing warm water here. enjoy it

Hot spring water with sulfuric water. A relaxing place on weekdays, not on the weekend.

I prefer this area and bath than the other close ubud..
There is a lot of people on weekend.

Love the place. Apparently a place where a lot of locals visit and hang out as a family. The walk in looks totally like a tourist trap and the scooter parking area is by donation. 10,000 IDR entrance fees for tourist. Seems "run down" or "dirty" but it looks like it's also effect of the minerals in the hot spring. Changing areas and outdoor water spouts for showers. Lockers are available at 5,000 IDR for a bit less than 1 cubic meter space with no time limit. Have to pay for toilets (3,000IDR) but if you eat at the restaurant, you get a free pass to the toilet. Decent, and free is you eat or drink, WIFI at the restaurant too and good seatings to watch people in the pools as it is situated on the second floor. Food is simply ok though.
For cheaper food, there is a smaller shop on the other end of the pools that sells simpler stuff but not much seating and slightly off from the pools.

Such a beutifull place. Relax in the warm pools. Ticket: IDR 10K - Locker: IDR 5K - Toilett: IDR 3K Many stores are on the way.
Joram Zimmermann (11/06/2017 05:55)
For sure a little bit more touristic than other places. Many shops around selling cloths and handmade bracelets and people are eager to sell their products. The hot springs itself is a bit rundown, has 3 rather small basins, a cold shower is provided. Very green surrounding, a restaurant with friendly staff serves local and western food quite cheap. There is an entrance fee of IDR 10k per person, locker cost IDR 5k. Price / value is very OK.

We came here early in the morning (7.30am) and be the first persons to take bath. Tickets cost 10k idr for local adults. Yup thats cheap. The water is not very amusing color but hey its natural hotspring.
They have pools, one is deep and one is 1m tall. Water is quite hot. If you need a place to stay near the hotspring you can try Pondok Grya Sari, its 100m before the hotspring.

Problems with parking. Simple but good
Valentin Shvets (23/03/2017 03:48)
Absolutely amazing. Even if there's a school group bathing, they ll leave soon. Not many tourists
Tonny Setiawan (22/01/2017 11:25)
It's okay to visit just for once. In the past the pool was so nice and the water looks amazing, but now I don't know how clean the water, didn't have the courage to try. But overall the environment is nice, surrounding by the nature and fresh breeze.
Soak on the top pool, because the water flow from the top to the pool below.....
Just give a try....

Nice hot springs for a affordable price. If you come early you will be almost alone. Open from 8am to 8pm ...
Maximilian Mende (03/12/2016 01:50)
A nice location to relax some hours! It is really great to jump into the holy hot springs! The price is very cheap 10000 IDR per Adult!

Beautiful setting in a tropical garden...cheap entrance ticket, 10.000 rupiah...changing room and lockers available...there is an on-site restaurant too
Yang Xiu Zhen (19/09/2016 15:48)
It's a huge hot spring pool. But never visit this place in local holiday season. The pool will be full of people, too crowded to enjoy the pool. In the end, i was paying tickets without a chance to enjoy the spring.

รoklu kฤฑsa spring water
Banjar Air Panas
Another beautiful spot in northern Bali, the Banjar hot springs are a series of stone pools filled with naturally heated spring water that pours out of the mouths of stone nagas (snake-like dragons) carved into the walls of the pools. The hot springs are surrounded by beautiful tropical flowers and foliage and there is a restaurant overlooking the pools that serves tasty Indonesian fare, an area with changing rooms, showers and lockers, and even a rustic resort set on the jungle-clad slopes behind the springs.
Spring in Bali No. 2 โ Banjar Hot Spring Bali Indonesia (Air Panas Banjar Bali)
The Hot Spring with a kids's pool - Highly recommended to families travelling with children
Banjar Hot Spring Bali, one of the โcolderโ Hot Springs in Bali, is located in the north of the island, about 10 minutes away from Lovina or about 3 hours from Kuta and consists of 1 โhotโ pool, 2 larger lukewarm pools and a private pool, which are all surrounded by beautiful gardens in the middle of the jungle.
Banjar Hot Spring Bali is a very peaceful place where plenty of locals come for relaxation as well. If you want to experience a bath with some actual Balinese people, this is the Hot Spring to go to. In case you are looking for privacy, check out the other Hot Springs we have listed in this category.
One of the pools can be described as a kidโs pool and if you are travelling with the whole family, you can splash around with your children here. The upper pool can be described as the massage pool and naturally you will stay in there for a very long time. The water gushes from the mouths of 8 stone carved Nagas (mystical dragon like creatures) which will simply pamper your senses.
The toilets are clean, well maintained and lockers are available, a definite bonus that Banjar Hot Spring Bali offers. Towels and shampoo are provided and changing cabins are available.
A local Restaurant provides basic food and cold drinks. Some smaller souvenir shops are waiting for you to bargain with them.
All in all, this place is well worth the visit and a family with two kids wonโt spend any more than 20 USD/AUD for a visit including food and drinks.
Opening Hours: daily from 8.00 am โ 6.00 pm
Tip: If you would like to combine the visit of Banjar Hot Spring Bali with a little walk, just stop at Banjar Village. The distance from the village to Air Panas Banjart is about 1 kilometer.

What I like about this is that you are not going to pay more because you are not local. It's a very touristic place thought and any other thing inside will be overpriced; restaurants, lockers, drinks...
The water is warm and the atmosphere is relaxing. I need to say that it was not crowded when I was there.
I recommend this hit spring rather that any other one in the island
Marcel Heiniger (05/02/2016 16:46)
The spiritual hot springs "Air Panas" of Banjar are embedded in the midst of the jungle in a wonderfully designed tropical garden.
The sulfuric water seam looking dirty but this is pure spring water, the 3 pools are emptied every evening and during the day its always new spring water that is running out of the 8 nagas (Dragon Statue)
The best Moment is in the morning before the arrival of the tourists and locals
Benny Herlanda (26/12/2015 02:36)
Relaxing place to have nature's massage by hot water fountain. Feel the warm spring pool that sacred for Balinese
Michael Niklas (15/10/2015 15:30)
Some very nice small pools with warm water. Mostly local people go bathing there. Only negative thing is the quite dirty water, however showers are available.
Entrance is 5k with changing rooms, lockers are additional 3k.
Enjoy the massage of the hot water springs!
