Been here several times for recreational purpose and for hiking. Both were unforgettable. Well the main entrance was so crowded with souvenirs sellers, but once you get into the forest, you won't be able to hear anything but the sound of the nature. If you come for recreation, make sure to see the waterfalls, its cold and really refreshing. and if you come for the top of the mountain, then don't forget to enjoy the warm waterfall in the middle of your hike.

Definitely a recommended hike for beginner. This is my second time hiking and it was quite doable. Just make sure you check the weather forecast before coming. The pathways could be pretty nasty during hard rain.

Worth to do in the weekend. For me best route will be Putri to Cibodas. Never try Selabintana.

You should be here!!! Foreigner entry permit for 2 Day 1 night is 470000rupiah. I visit here for 3d2n so I paid 940000rupiah.
It is worth to have such a weekend escape.
Hotspring and waterfall.
Blue crater lake.
Please train yourself well before visit here, the stair step is big gap and drain out most of your energy if you do not train.
