We booked the 2 bedroom villa and it was totally worth it. Enjoy the swimming pool and whirlpool all day long and you can also choose to sit and enjoy the lake. Fishing is available at an extra price.
The main bedroom has a bathub which overlooks the swimming pool and whirlpool. Although it's a 2 bedroom villa it can actually hold a whole family party as there are a lot of sofa's provided.
Don't be surprised when they knock your door at night, it's a nice evening snack from the hotel :).

This hotel's venue and landscape is very beautiful. The view is so lovely. The pools are nicely designed on the cliff backyard with view to the ponds full with white ducks and small boat. There are gazebos rooms around the ponds that look so lovely for honeymooners.
Children also love being here for the wide running area, children room, vast gardens, swimming pools and bike ride near the pond.
The rooms are also nice.
But when i visited with my office colleagues for an event that allowed us to bring family, the room and key allocation were so poorly managed.
We needed to wait until 4 pm to get a room (we arrived at 10 to 2 pm) and we only got 1 key card instead of 2. The standard in all 4 stars hotel is usually 2 and added by our family's different agendas; 2 cards would definitely be preferable.
When we complained, the hotel management was also not positively responding although eventually they gave all of us late checkout hour until 1.30 pm.
This is such a nice hotel to visit, please manage it better.

overprice for such experience. lack of beautiful view, dirty bathroom and bad service in the restaurant.
we had breakfast and asked if we could eat in the outdoor area. staff said we could however staff did not really care, we must get our cutlery and coffee/tea cup ourselves. table was not really clean as well, we need to clean as the staff only 3 people and they were inside. we were hoping to get a nice breakfast with fresh air, unfortunately service wasn't good.
- (many) ants were on the table
- bathroom : shower area was not clean, dusty and there were small worms in the corner
we came in with 3 months old baby, those things we didn't expect as we think that Aston is a 5stars hotel.

Superb place, just beautiful, nice scenery. There is a playing ground for children. very good for jog and morning/afternoon walk

Kamar sangat nyaman dan bersih. Staff ramah ramah. Breakfastnya super yummy dan banyak variasinya. Recommended banget deh. Superrrr

Everything good only check in process was so slow. I suggest hotel has special line for suite and vila check in counter. Or the guest who booked at villa or suite, they can check in directly in the room.

Aston Sentul is one of the best place to do short escape from a city crowd, very reachable ftom Jakarta or Bogor area, this place offers a solution to just refresh your mind. The hotel is exquisite, beautiful view, nice rooms, the restaurant offers various menu (seriously, they have 12 different sambals!!) And they tasted really good. They have a nice view swimming pool near the restaurant.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
But, the room rate is pricey for their class. This hotel is almost always fully booked on the weekend.

Been here twice for wedding. Nice ambience, beautiful view and scenery. Food taste average though. The place is very secluded, a bit far to reach from and to main road. A bit difficult to get on line transportation also from the premise.

Rooms a not great but the breakfast and dinner is very very good. the barbecue at night is tasty and the servers and host very beautiful. I don't know if there is a correlation there, but again I was happy here for my meeting which took 3 days, I did not have anything to complain about ad i am a smoker and the smoking section was humongous and sheltered , important as it rains a lot here. I would imagine it would be fun to bring your kids here as there seems to be a lot of fun things to do and explore.

I love spending time here in the weekend. They have great choices for breakfast. The view are great. The pool and the kids playground are my kid's favorite.

Pleasant to stay here for a few days. Unfortunately the lake was under maintenance so the view is a bit lack, but thanks to the green forest behind the villa it overwhelmed the focus.
Also the receptionist mistook the key to my room, so i got a room which had been equipped for others. I think this function needs to be improved as i heard this isn't the first time happened.

nice place nice building and delicious buffet. unfortunately the lake was drained when i was there, and i got the bad smell room. I still wondered how can the room was hot when i was there. i have adjusted the air controller to the lowest level and it was still hotter compared to non AC room :(

It's a new hotel. The food is great. Complete selection for your breakfast and lunch. There is a nice pool here but the gym is not so complete. Modest one. Just be careful with the parking lot, it's a bit tricky.

The room is not well prepared (no towel, no amenities) and air condition doesn't work as should be (the hallway in front of our room is much cooler). Don't expect too much with the services, most of them are trainees. If you stay on 1st floor, strange connection from the lobby which the lobby is on 6th floor. So you actually need to go to 3rd floor then change the escalator to 1st floor and you need to go thru the gym. The bathroom is even strange, the cold and hot water control is misplaced.

Comfortable short weekend trip for family. Weather is cooling and food is good. Room is reasonably priced. May go back again next time.

Room is clean and comfortable. Location is a bit off the main road. Food is reasonably priced. They serve a sumptious local breakfast and dinner buffet. There is a convnience store to get things that you may have forgotten to bring. Very suitable for a family weekend getaway. Weather is cool, we enjoyed the stay.

Great view and many good spot to take pictures. My daughter so happy to have a cotton candy by the time we arrived there. Many activities for the children also : coloring, fish catching , a small trampoline , very fun. Love the swimming pool area, our room has a pool access and close to breakfast area which has an outdoor dine tables near by the swimming pool.

Wonderful time staying here, nice view, neat rooms, have balcony, plenty activity options for kids, they have separate bungalow near the small lake, and BEST of all..the food! Delicious local cuisine ever!

Cozy. Fresh air. 5 minutes to The Jungle Land recreational park. Friendly. Parking building not equipped with ease-of-access and narrow lanes/ramps. Distant from nearest supermarket.

The staff is very friendly with warm smile. The service is above standard, and the buffet offers wide array of Indonesian food. The building is nice with view of golf course, however some corner looks not well maintained. Since it is located in the entrance, it does not make a good first impression. Parking area have small room for maneuver, but when I look outside my window, there is a wide parking area outside. What's the deal with that?

Sebagai tempat bersantai, sangat tepat rasanya memilih hotel ini untuk menghindari kota Jakarta. Namun, jangan salah justru saat weekend hotel ini cukup ramai, sehingga niat bersantai bisa jadi tidak terpenuhi.
Saya datang saat long weekend Lebaran, suasananya kurang nyaman. Baru sekali saya menginap di hotel dan untuk sarapan saja saya tidak mendapatkan piring, gelas, dan sendok. Akhirnya saya inisiatif mencuci sendiri peralatan makan bekas orang agar bisa saya gunakan. Respon staf restoran kala itu sangat lama, bisa dimengerti karena libur Lebaran mungkin mereka kekurangan staf, sementara tamunya membludak.
Kamarnya saya sangat suka, desainnya edgy dan luas. Kasurnya juga empuk dan sangat nyaman untuk ditiduri. Nampaknya ini menjadi hotel keluarga saat weekend. So far makanannya lumayan enak, pilihan menunya jg cukup beragam.
Lokasinya di dekat Taman Budaya, lumayan dekat ke Junge Land.

I stayed at Aston Sentul Lake Villa and it was such a great experience.
The villa is really neat and clean. I got snack every night during my stay.
There are jacuzzi and private pool inside the villa, a lot of kids activities at the hotel.
The staffs are nice and really helpful
Overall i would like to go back to Aston Sentul Lake for my family vacation

Nice place to stay. They have unique building design on each corner, including the balcony at the hotel room. Also, they provide much variety of food on breakfast, lunch, and dinner time, most of the food tasted good.

Room is very nice and I feel so comfort here, with a big flat TV looks so cool.
There is a "backyard riverside" look-a-like with some gooses. Nice view ;)
The swimming pool is divided by 3 depth: for babies, children, and adults.
There is a good-tasted food also.
The cons is only about the price which is quite high compared to the competitor :)

I booked for 2 rooms (connecting), 2 days before arrival I cancelled 1 room, and told the reservation 3 times to cancel the twin room & keep the king size with baby cod in the room. But when I arrived the front desk said the king rooms was cancelled by reservation & keep the twin room, and the king room was not available, after long arguing finally I got the King bed, but it took forever to deliver the baby cod to my room. In room dining service was excellent

One of the best hotel in Bogor. Located in a hill, displaying a green lush panoramic view. It has a man-made lake and types of room to indulge your sense.

PLUS:
1. Nice location and view from rooms.
2. Fancy hotel lobby with a great view.
3. Foods are good-average.
4. Nice room with great view from the balcony.
MINUS:
1. Bad experience during check in. My room key somehow did not work. I have to go to receptionist back and forth twice to reactivate the key!! I checked in at 12.30 PM and there was no bell boy helping me brought the baggage & bags. Maybe some of staffs were having an afternoon breaks but there should not be excuses for this. It's so exhausting since I had a meeting to attend in this hotel at the same time.
2. Unstable mobile phone signal (especially for telkomsel).
3. Hotel concept is good actually..but the layout is confusing especially for the guest who visit this hotel for the first time. It will be better if there were more signs or map in the hotel.
4. Coffee served in this hotel was soo bad. It taste like an instant coffee. You have to ask "premium coffee" when you're having a breakfast if you want the "real coffe". But during the meeting, we didn't have any choice since they only served that bad coffee. You have to buy/pay more for the "real coffee"...quite cheap though..only 18K...but, again, it still looks strange to me.
5. Kids above 5 years old have to pay 50% for the breakfast. Many other hotels don't give additional charge for kids under 12 years old to have breakfast. Again..strange hotel policy 🤔
6. When I was having a breakfast, there was a staff approaching me and asked for hotel reviews and feedbacks. I told her my good and bad reviews. But surprisingly, she asked me to post only the good feedbacks in tripadvisor at that time. I refused it and said I will post not only the good feedbacks, but also bad feedbacks in tripadvisor. Bad feedbacks are good for them actually, coz it will improve their performances in the future!! What a silly experince 🤔

Great place, good ambience, and nice view..but the service is not excellent,look lazy and so many reason. I think Aston management must check the standart of service excellence of their staff especially marketing.

Good place, good mountain view but not as my expectation. Lake is not the natural lake. We can said this is man made pond. The water level also drop alot and you can see dried part. If this man made pond, at least they should maintain the water quality to bring good view instead yellow colour water.

Staying on 11 July 2016 which is first Monday after one week-long national holiday.
- Long queue for checking in
- Got a deluxe room on 10th floor. Broken room key cylinder (lockcase). Key card wasnt set properly so we need to go back to reception desk, all the way on 6th floor to reset. Found the room was dusty.
- Spent a nice afternoon dip at the pool, kids pool is available too
- Dinner was horrible. They have along list of menu, but in fact only few is available for order. Spent about 40 minutes only for simple orders (fried noodle, fish & chips ~ which apparently did not come with chips!, fried banana). There were only 3 tables occupied at the restaurant when we had our dinner. It also took long time for bill to come, even more patience was needed because one menu was missed and got to wait for the revised one
- Friendly staff anyway
We complained to the staff and got a clarification that they currently is still soft-opening. Some facilities might not be functioning properly. Many dishes unavailable at the restaurant is due to lack of supply from the vendors after a long holiday.
Overall: 3/10

New Hotel. Very nice place for relaxing. It is close to Taman Budaya Sentul where you can have your kids to have outbound games or cultural activity.

It has nice rooms but they don't have enough staff which made me dislike it as it made me wait for 1 hour after my check in time.
