This is a popular hawker market with many local specialty food such as opor, lontong tahu telur, pindang, and soto. Probably scored a 'D' for cleanliness but this is a typical hawker centers in Central Java. For Pindang go to Solichin as this is the most popular one.

Just city center, a lot foodstall, but none of them re hygenic. If you're westerners avoid to eat here, indonesian and other 3rd world commoners will be fine

Like an ordinary "alun-alun" but I love this place because we can sit on the grass. I can't do this on another field (alun-alun) I've visited before. But, the parking ticket is so expensive.
