Best hotel in Blitar..its very clean..the staffs are very friendly..the food is very delicious..you can choose variety of local food when you have a breakfast..definitely worth it..

Unique place. Location is in the middle of town, closed to everywhere. You can walking to reach everything such as taman pecut blitar, alun2 blitar n etc. Hotel tugu blitar is cozy place to go in dream. All of stufff are authentic and unique. Also this hotel had a history of first president, IR.SOEKARNO. the colony restaurant, has western and Indonesian menu's. This hotel also have a package leisure, honeymoon, candles night dinner n etc. I did candlle night dinner to celebrate our 1st anniversary with my lovely husband.

Been here 2 times. I love the ambiance of the hotel. The entrance is lovely. They maintance their small garden. Tea time is 4-6 pm. You get 4 options for breakfast. Staff is professional and friendly. Will definitely stay here if i visit blitar.

Best place to stay around Blitar. have a lot of trip advisor certificate of excellence but little bit creepy with that old antique

Amazing hotel!!! Can not get enough of all the antique, traditional, and vintage javanese decor.
The hotel room needs some upgrade. More light either in the bedroom, bathroom and the outside. Management might want to upgrade the tv and the interior.
I have really delicious breakfast and the welcome drink is high quality tea.

Great legacy with room in which President Sukarno stayed before open for visitors upon request at reception. Beautiful traditional decor with lots of historical items. Reasonably priced rooms.

the best thing about staying here is the super-friendly staff. Mr. Gunawan was in charge for the house keeping in my compound, and he was super super super friendly and helpful. He offered me free coffee, aromatherapy, and even he knew my favorite fruit on the basket. He always asked me whether I need help in this or that and he always did it in the best sincere gesture. Do meet Mr. Gunawan if you come to Tugu Blitar.
After all the hotel is very nice and pretty, I personally like the dug-out bath-up with mini garden as the view. I got nice sessions of warm bubble bath + smoking cig in there.

The hotel gives off the antique and slightly eerie feeling, typical of the other Tugu Hotels. The entrance to the hotel was very interesting and their suit rooms are nice, especially the one dedicated to Soekarno's memorabilia inside. The regular rooms, however, are nothing to write about.
Staff personnels are very friendly and more than happy to show you around.

Nice atmosphere, kind and friendly staffs, the room is okay. The aircon works properly, but the bed is not too comfy. Good spa and massage service. And the food are quite good.
