Beautiful resort, well maintained and very clean. Some staff are very friendly and helpful. Some staff are very hardworking, cleaning the beach under the hot sun. Some staff can speak good English....
The food sold in the resort are not cheap compare to Singapore and Batam.
A good short trip and stay in Bintan Nirwana Resort.

Great family place. Lovely beach with clear waters. Massive estate leading to a medium size hotel. Mid-level in quality, but clean and very comfortable.
Breakfast buffet offers a very large selection.
Lunch is fine, nothing special
Dinner good at Dino's.
The hotel lacks charm, but makes up for this with effort and good staff. Their corkage charge if you bring your own wine is IDR300,000 ($30.00)

The hotel is very child friendly with a playground and toddler pool. It is also very near to the beach. The rooms are furnished with a very rustic feel. Amenities and activities are available for the active. Includes jet ski, para sailing, and many more.

We have stayed twice, once in a suite, most recently in basic rooms. These were comfortable but the decor is getting a bit tired; if smudged walls upset you, I suggest paying the extra $20 or so a night for a premium room which has been refreshed. But the beds and other amenities are fine. There is so much to do at the resort and the staff were very helpful arranging golfing and spa visits (and complimentary transport). On our last visit we left a Kindle in our room, and they were very helpful getting it back to us in Singapore within a few days. I really enjoy this place for a family visit and will return again.

Pricey yet it feels luxurious. I hail from Singapore and it's approximately the same price as a standard restaurant in Singapore. White glorious stretch of beach with bikini clad babes. It's a pretty good view. Restaurants offer many types of cuisines at a decent quality. Internal shuttle buses are plentiful and there's one that takes you to the ferry terminal.

Beautifully beach and scenery. But the food are too expensive. Better being your own snack and cup noodle. Yes better to spend the day on beach activity and horse ride.

Very nice and well taken care of. Deluxe room in Nirvana gardens is spacious clean and modern, nothing short of great. It's a big closed (secure) resort which is practically empty now in April yet still has great weather and lots of attractions. Would come back here without hesitation (and probably will)

Nice resort a lot of facilities and an amazing pool right by the beach. Unfortunately the beach is full of black oil... You'll have to go to the beach club to enjoy the beach. The resort feels a little old but offer a big variety of restaurants and bar (highly recommend the Calypso bar).

A nice hotel but starting to look quite dated. Staff were lovely but service was either over-the-top attentive or none at all. Room was lovely and clean. Pool was lovely and good range of sun loungers. Good range of restaurants but would have been nice if they could have advertised them a bit more; their location, cuisine etc... I would say it’s a 3 Star hotel.

Rooms were standard. Clean sheets. Analog TV with variety of channels like news, movies, tv series. 2 bottles of water given each day. Toilets were clean and stocked with soap, shampoo, toothbrush and hairdryer. Toilet has bidet. Room service wise has passable food. Nothing fantastic. Variety has western to some Indonesia cuisine. Nearby bistro has more international food but is quite expensive for the slightly above average food. Room service staff was well mannered and spoke good English. Facilities was the usual resort stuff. Great transportation options like shuttle buses between areas like golf, archery, bowling, and beach activities. Beach was relatively clean. Comes with a pool area too with provided towels and the air was always almost cool and windy as it is beach side. For the price of stay you get somewhat a good service and experience.

Nice and relaxing trip. Pools are well maintained and very clean. There is private beach for guests. However prices of food and activities are on the high end. More expensive than mainland singapore.

It's a fantastic Property with serene view. Silent and we'll maintained. F&B are superb here. If u want pool side dining -They have. If u want beach view Dining -They have. If u want mid Sea Dining -They have. Worth spending few more days here. Should go for at least 3/4 days for enjoying and relaxation.
At night, Friday/Saturday are more happening. Rest days are killing silent. Transportation to main City is 2 hrs drive.

The villas are very good for family or friends gathering. Very clean environment. We had our team building events with the resort management, and it was very very well planned. Activities are also interesting.

The staffs are very friendly and flexible in accommodating to our needs. Such as booking for stand up paddle etc though they only have 6 of them in total. There's also a buggy to send residents to their villa even though it quite near, but convenient for people with luggages. The breakfast buffet is quite nice and complete with all types of food that should settle with anyone's need for breakfast.

Nice pool and beach area, the staff are friendly and attentive, however there a few issues for a 5 star resort. Checkin was very slow and seemed uncoordinated. However the main issue seems to be with the onsite restaurants, they simply aren't big enough for the number of guests staying at the hotel. We had to queue for over 20mins on numerous occasions to get a table, including for breakfast! For a 5 star hotel this is unacceptable. I would give this resort a "could do better", not bad but certainly not good. If you can find somewhere else for the same price and facilities I would try it.

The location and the room is awesome. Our room is right next to the pool and the beach. The service is quite nice and the pool area is just awesome. The property has lots of fun activities for kids and families. Overall, a very good resort and will come back for more.

A bit too expensive to stay and to dine. Once you get over the price it's an amazing place with clean beaches and lots of facilities. A good site for water sports , do check the pub for some live music too.

Beautiful surroundings. Great Spa!
Lots of activities.
Wifi needs improvement though.

Beautiful place and well maintained. The staff are friendly and kept the place relatively clean. The rooms were also better than expected. However, no draft beer are served here, only bottled beers are available are they are slightly pricey.

Firstly, need to praise the friendliness and helpful nature of the staff in the hotel and the Beach Club. Great service.
Beach Club facilities were good, and we also enjoyed Spice restaurant and other facilities around the resort.
The only improvement area is that the rooms could be updated a bit - the air-con was a bit loud, the wifi was VERY slow, and it was a little inconvenient having only one room key etc. Small things which did not overall detract from a great stay!

We enjoyed our time in Nirwana. The pool was big and clean, my little one really enjoyed it! The beach was also nice, though there are times when u get black "grease" marks on your feet when you walk by the beach- not sure where it came from. The rooms are clean and a good size for my family. Breakfast spread is okay, we loved the local food. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Overall, we had a great time, the only con I think is the food as they are overly priced.

Very nice place, i liked food , liked the performance, pool, beach, massage. But I was really disappointed that outdoor playground was under maintenance and indoor playground was far away from swimming pool, and closed so early. For me, as a single mother, such thing was very important. At the end I was satisfied with beach and pool but my daughter was upset as she preferred to have fun on the playground. I hope, the playground will be available soon again.

We had a good stay. The front office/ reception was very courteous and allotted us a room of our choice.
Our only regret was that the room did not have simple provisions like ear-buds and body lotion - which housekeeping immediately provided when we asked. The food choice and quality can improve.
In short, your resort is real "value for money". Thank you.

The reviews did say that the resort is a little tired and although it's true, the resort retains a lovely authenticity that modern stucco blocks often lack. Our room was clean and comfortable, the AC worked perfectly. The amenities were spot on, I used the gym which was well equipped, the mini zoo was fun and my partner got to feed bananas to a beautiful elephant. We used the pool at the adjacent villas, since it was quieter and less geared for children, it was simply gorgeous. We spent time on the stunning beach and swam in the warm South China Sea, the restaurants were great, the breakfast buffet, friday seafood buffet all delicious.
The icing on this already great experience, was the faultless service. Every member of staff were genuinely concerned to see that we were enjoying our stay, smiles and welcomes came from all of them without exception. One visit to the Poolside bar and we were greeted by Eni and Rakim by first names for the rest of our stay, simply lovely.

Not bad except the sea sports center is 10min walk away. It would be better if its just nearby. But overall great experience

The restaurant food was far below reasonable standard. Pizzas seemed to undercooked. Staff avoided eye contact as if they didn't want to serve us. Definitely not worth the prices we paid for.
Extremely noisy hotel with lack of sound proofing of doors. Could not sleep at all.

Resort was ok. But the food is abysmal. Ate at the pool restaurant. $20 per person. Without drinks. Some of the worst food I've ever eaten. Ordered 3 pizzas and all were completely tasteless. 'Double' Pepperoni pizza didn't even have 1 slice of pepperoni per slice. DO NOT GO HERE TO EAT AT THE POOL RESTAURANT.

Hugh resort with 450 acres ! Lots of activities and fun.. but need to be heavy pocket, each and every thing should be charged even water.. u can't get single glass of water without money...
For JAIN people's need to inform in advance at resort managers they will manage to prepare food in breakfast...
Overall good resort !!
