This place is great. The food tastes good, the bar is great and the service is always perfect. We've been going for years and have always had good experiences until now. Prices increased, range of beers have decreased to the point where they didn't have anything when we came on an empty night. The portions may say small is for 3 people but that is not accurate at all and when asked if we can take away the food they wanted to charge us 30.000. it's a shame what seems to have happened to this place it's usually a 5/5

Coming here often in the last fifteen years and always enjoyed. This evening was a huge disappointment:
- draft beer had run out
- other beer on the menu not stocked
- 0.3l Bintan can available for S$9 !
- shrimps family portion advertised for three barely fed one, while not exactly cheap
- fried noodles was plenty, request for S$3 charge to pack as take-away. The manager reiterated the charge and couldn't explain why
Looks like they lost touch on how to run a good service business

Very bad service. And they charge 30,000 rupiah if u bring left over home. Bintan beer was charge sgd9 per can . No draft beer at all.

This one is great (unlike poolside restaurant) just need to pick the right item (not everything tastes same as in Europe). Very nice views and great service. Pretty quiet too in April. Calypso bar next to it is amazing. Food would cost about £35 (45USD) for 2 people so not that bad. All in all great experience and recommended.

Good seafood. The salted egg yolk and honey crab is awesome! Price is a bit expensive though.

Nice environment. Steam fish is super fresh. According to my friend, the veggie are grow locally and organic. Coconut drink is just ok. Flower crabs were cooked in black pepper source, a but hot but tasty.

The food is quit fresh since u can choose the fish, crab and lobster in the tank. We enjoyed the food in the dim light with the laughter of the waitress. I guess because we ordered too much food. This the bill was 228 SGD for 2 persons.

Good food, the portions are marked as small, medium and large, where many small portions are marked as feeds 3 people. Food is 3-4 star, but for the price of 5 star. For example a smallest 600 gramm steamed fish would be between $40 and $90 USD depending on the kind.

Great place to enjoy the sunset, the resturant is pretty solid, food taste pretty good. But priced pretty high

Food was alright but pricy, but to be fair we had the set dinner which did not have much seafood apart from a small crab, prawns and squid. We ordered another bigger crab and it was pretty fresh good. Ambiance was alright but there was no sea breeze so it can get q stuffy.

The food is just so so. And it's not worthy of the price. The seafood price is as expensive as in Singapore. I also had the worst service here. Asked for Wifi for more than 5 times. The staff were not friendly and helpful at all. First we couldn't understand staff's English. So we asked them to write on a paper. But the password is still incorrect. After consulting with the staff so many times, we gave up and had to ask the staff to key in the password for us. The staff's attitude was like not willing to do that for us at all. And the whole time was like we owe the staff lots of money. By the way, the table next to us ordered an additional rice but waited for 1 hour to get it. They were so pissed off too. I'm never going to this restaurant again. And I would like to warn all the other guests, who is considering here. You'll be surprised about their "service".

The best place about Nirwana and probably Bintan, should spend a couple of romantic hours in Calypso Bar nursing your drinks and then eat at Kelong

We had a great meal for 5 at a reasonable price in Bintan. Ambience was really nice and staff were helpful. 10/10 will be back for more 😋

The Calypso bar has a great ambience and good setting. Love walking by the crab shell wall and is within walking distance from the hotels. Food is alright, would recommend getting fried prawns.

My trip to Bintan is every time with this restaurant! Excellent Chinese seafood dishes! I recommend sunset time!
