Quick getaway from Singapore. Resort has their own ferry service. Very big resort. In need of maintenance Service and mediocre. Great pools, great ocean. Family friendly.

A nice resort to visit. It is a one hour ferry ride from Singapore. It has two great golf courses. A nice beach and pool. A great get away place to relax and chill. Alcoholic drinks are expensive. Better bring your own bottle or beer.

Totally loved the place which made me visit it twice in 6 months.. !!! A perfect place to relax and rejuvenate over a weekend.. A morning massage followed by a good swim along with in-pool bar and water basketball results into a well spent noon. Proceed to jet skiing which they let you operate for yourself gets enough adrenaline rush to get your evening started on a high. They have various options available for the evening (dance floor/karaoke/live band performance/private beach restaurant).
Overall had a wonderful experience both the times i visited.

Very Good place to relax and enjoy the beach...
We had some issues with the room we stayed. A part of the room floor ( near the entrance) was water logged always even with thermostat set to 22 degrees.Bath room door lock got stuck each time we tried to open it.
Restaurants are expensive. On the first day we ended up paying a lot of money for an average Indian meal ( taste /quantity). Western cuisine was awesome.
Being a weekend we could not get hold of a buggy..:
The exterior and other facilities are good, spacious. Lot of options for kids. Staffs are very polite and helpful.
Three stars from me ***

So happy of my whole stay at the resort, though we had a short trip. The place was fantastic, you’ll never get bored! The staff are all friendly. I am so thankful to Popan whom I called regarding my requests, And went extra mile just to cater our needs. Over all, This place is highly recommended! :)

My brother and I brought his family and our elderly parents to this resort for a quiet relaxing weekend during the off-peak season. Our rooms were spacious and clean, and surrounded by lush greenery. It wasn't far from the buffet where we enjoyed a generous spread for every meal.
The pools were a treat in the tropics and leisurely strolls along the beach in the evening was enjoyable. This resort is great for family with children and elderly as they have amenities for all. When planning a vacation here (via an agency), consider adding a meal package that also includes a meal or two at the other restaurants and excursion (we took one with a massage and seafood meal package).

The villa is spacious and plenty of space. Their bbq food is good. And most interesting i get your own club car to drive around

BBQ Villa package was value for money. With ferry tickets, all 3 meals and a decently sized pool villa packed in, there's really no other accommodation that can rival this. Would definitely go back again!

Avoid for a work event.
My first room was raining inside, got moved.
Meals are really poor in the main cafe. Left out, raw eggs.
Internet is barely usable with regular outages lasting hours.
Room in a poor state. Tap falling off, mouldly.
Avoid for a business function. :(
On a positive, the pool and golf course look good, but didn't get to experience.

Very big area... Yeah, they have golf area for sure 😅😅
Its very nice place, good atmosphere and nice food. But food and souvenir are to pricey.
There's beautiful beach but not so good for snorkeling, enough just swimming and play sand for kids. you have to watch your kid's by your self at the beach, there's no coast guard stand by in the area.
Kid's gym are nice and clean, my kiddos really love their gym.

Have stayed at this resort previously and enjoyed it , but found the staff and facilities lacking in some areas. Decided to give it another go as the golf courses in this resort are simply stunning! I was pleasantly surprised to see the improvement in the resort. We stayed for 2 nights in the Seaview room and had a magnificent time. The rooms are clean and well equipped and the service has improved greatly from our last visit. Staff were friendly and efficient and we really could not fault the resort. The food and drink are a little expensive but for the quality of the meals and service I think it is good value for money. I would definitely recommend and will be staying here again. Thank you Bintan Lagoon for a wonderful stay 😄

Attended a 4d3n event for 800+ people. Food is good. View is great. The staff were very helpful and went all out to help with the organization of the event. The rooms are very nice. Newly renovated. I don't like the toilet design tho. The worst thing is that the WiFi was horrible. Also, there should be shelter to the large auditorium.
Daniel Chia (18/07/2017 09:02)
The rooms are big and spacious with a large platform for other activities. There's a small balcony outside with 2 chairs and 1 table for guests to relax and have a drink. The rooms are near to the swimming pool, beach and restaurants. All within 5 mins distance away. The only downside would be the pricing of the food and drink. During the entire duration of our stay, both lifts were out of order, it made it inconvenient but nothing much to worry about. Overall a very pleasant stay and I would love to come back again.

very good accomadation and facilities. Golf course was top notch. However what lost the one star was the price of daily necessities at the "mini marts". restaurants and room service menu was overpriced for example, a small bottle of water from room service would set you back S$9.50. This made going about our daily activities difficult. However, i feel that the positives outweighed this negative and thus is a fantastic resort to visit for a golf trip or even to have some quality time with your family.
Gopi Kori (04/07/2017 14:42)
Beautiful nature and surrounding, clean beach easily accessible. Good veg food available as well. But extremely costly food, your food cost for a day will definitely go well above your room's cost. Activities aren't much exciting.

We are returning to Bintan Lagoon Resort for the third time, but staying in the villas for the first time. The place was very clean and much larger than expected. We were easily able to sleep 8, although 3 were children. 6 adults would sleep without a problem. The beach was beautiful with crystal clear water that was at the perfect temp to walk right in. Also, the pool is large enough that it never seemed crowded. The dining was a bit overpriced, but the food was good. The complementary breakfast buffet was great with plenty of options to suit anyone. My family will definitely return the next time we visit Singapore.

Overall, great place. The Villas are really cool. They have nice beaches and it was a 90min boat ride from Singapore. It's not a real all-inclusive, service offered at the typical meal times. Does not include alcohol, soda, juices (except breakfast), about a third of the food at the buffet is not apart of the all inclusive ticket. These exclusions are offered for pay, but at hotel prices. We found that a bag of groceries, taking a cab to the next town over, was cheaper than 1 drink at the hotel. Does include water, tea, coffee. Basic activities are free. Plenty of pay activities available, we did several and a great time. The Food was always really good, bbq cookout style dinner for villas -neat. Awesome staff, very accommodating. We'd go again.

The worst place to stay in Bintan. The place is extremely run down. Showers have no screens and wet the whole bathroom when you shower. Housekeeping is abysmal. Mould everywhere in the bathrooms. The doors and furniture are old and creaky. It's 3-star at best. Food is nice but expensive. Staff are friendly but don't try too hard. Would never stay here again.
Dawn Donghee Lim (17/05/2017 00:28)
Facilities are dated, but that's not why you're here anyway. Go enjoy the pool, beautiful beach, or golf course. They really push hard on food and/or drinks as soon as you arrive. If you sit at a bar or restaurant they will ask multiple times if you want to order a drink. Prices are pretty much what you'd pay in the U.S., HK, etc., which is a bit of a disappointment since you're in Indonesia, not one of the aforementioned locations. However food and drinks were very good and tasty.
Wouter Vinkenborg (01/05/2017 06:49)
Nice rooms, friendly staff. Many food offerings, from local cuisine to Japanese and burger places.
Good breakfast included. Great service overall

Would not recommend staying at this resort for the following reasons.
1. Dirty. We found 3 cockroaches in our room. The bathroom is a bit broken, the tub was falling apart.
2. Bad service. We asked for a possible upgrade because the resort was empty, but no one even entertained the motion. They just showed us to our room without asking anything. Also, I made a reservation but they lost it.
3. Rip off prices. We booked our fireflies tour through the hotel, which is a rip off. They said it was going to be a 2 hour tour but the tour was only like 45 minutes... It would have been cheaper and better to book through the locals.
4. Taxi is extremely expensive here, don't do it.

Great getaway spot for a quick weekend from Singapore. Lovely resort and friendly staff, now that being said they aren't the most professional. Great choices for food and golfing.
Can be a bit expensive as Bintan is very touristy. Don't feel shy to bargain prices almost everywhere and for everything.

Rooms was very nice , resort was beautiful seafacing rooms really good view.
Food was very expensive guys I will suggest you if u r going to this resort please take enough food supplies with u. I will give u an example of food prices. 1 soda or coke 95000 = 10 sg dollars , pizza around 30 dollars with very minimum topping. I already posted all the menu pics of resort .thanks
Ardya Suryadinata (07/02/2017 01:03)
Great view from my room. Large swimming pool. Private beach. Although the rooms in this resort are a little bit outdated, everything works well and comfortable.
The only issue I had was poor wifi signal in my room (and apparently almost in the other rooms too). The staff told me to go to the lobby if I want to use wifi.
Raymond Ruiz (19/01/2017 16:32)
Best place to relax. Overwhelming hospitatlity from the crew. Food is a bit pricey.
Charlotte Chua (28/12/2016 12:07)
3d2n stay. Good service by the staff from the handling of our bags when we got off their coach from the ferry terminal to our meals and activities. Place is clean and there are a range of free activities like air hockey, billiards, table tennis and the rental of volleyballs, frisbee, football, etc (albeit with a deposit of 500,000). For the more adventurous they have other sea activities like jet skiing and also ATV rides but I cannot shed light on those. Stayed in the villa with a sea view and it was incredibly nice to be able to walk right down to the beach in a moment! We were also provided with 2 buggies which proved useful and of course... Fun. Breakfast proved hectic on one day (probably from the Christmas crowd) where there was a shortage of bowls, cups and long queues but also vastly different and manageable the next morning. The food was alright, some hits(pancakes) and some misses... But to each his own. We also had suite rooms and the only thing to point out was the strange balcony design where there was a high wall where one might expect the view of the sea or pool or scenery might be. This did not bother us much since little time was spent in the room but it was just a little strange. Overall great experience and will probably be coming again.

Went twice, once in villa with their BBQ package and once in a normal room. Food are quite expensive, similar price to restaurants in Singapore, but the package includes most meals and ferry, it was a great deal. Direct ferry to the terminal in the resort is very convenient. The private beach is really amazing during a sunny day. Nice swimming pools and free activities in the leisure center. Found bed bugs in the villa though.

We've stayed on Buggani villa and it was great. Big enough to stay 8 ppl. Place was quite n calm, unfortunately there were lots of jellyfish in the beach these days, so pool was the only option. Pool (with deep end 2.2m) was pretty gd too. Foods are quite expensive. if you go outside of the resort you can buy foods cheaper, but the nearest town is 45min away from the resort( taxi from resort to town cost 65SGD). Had the breakfast too, but there were not much variations. Overall it's nice place to have vacation.

I'd strongly recommend you look at the online reviews of this resort before booking. High food prices, very poor service and outdated accommodations are a common theme. Absolutely appalling to spend 2000sgd for a one day group get away and have the service we received. Management did offer to address this on our next stay. They failed to realize this was our last.

Okay, I understand... One had no idea what it is and where actually he is.
Outta nowhere... Far from civilitation...
Any suplies are being delivered from other islands or something. Therefore you have your own peace here...
We had the family Bungalow with the Caddy and everything should be fine. But if you look through the value of what one has to pay for all the comforts, one would think, let's check out. Whatever... I wont be back thus the privat beach is indeed nice - but then if you walk further you'll see the trashes on the beach. Very sad!
The food is terribly expensive you'll think you are in Scandinavia or something. Its a rip-off to me.
If one still insists to pay his bill to stay here, then make sure to un-block your Amex OR bring enough food suplies!
Li Ling Feng (09/07/2016 17:27)
The whole resort only have one restaurant in operating. Expensive price but normal food. The worse thing ever is one of the company staff having a some kind of competition there. We even need wait in line on the buffet lunch. It looks like a prison. BTW, does the restaurant doesn't have enough money to buy Aircon ? And who is the designer for the skylight glass ? Do u know the feeling that have meal under the sunlight without aircon ? Damn hot !!! In addition, there not special place like night market that we can go there for shopping. I won't go there again. Waste money.

Great for a family or friends break. Love the villa construct
Chris Ormo (04/05/2016 12:20)
During my visit much of the resort was being refurbished so lots of construction works, but the resort does look dated so the refurbishment is well needed. Hopefully next time the resort will look more stunning, other then that staff are incredibly friendly.
Wendy YwL (05/03/2016 18:01)
Really enjoyed the stay over here as a variety of activities was available within and outside of the resort.
The resort itself was huge w necessary amenities. Tho' the food pricing is generally beyond our budget, the service of those friendly and helpful staff and the beautiful scenery like the sea view made up for it; overall an awesome place for a short getaway😃

Room was clean. Place was well stocked and had very friendly staff. Golf course was well maintained. Only gripe is that prices are slightly high.

One of my worse stay ever at any hotels/resorts. Service was bad, promised us a price of $400+ for 2 nights for 4 person, but was only told that there was an error in calculation 1 night before our arrival. The lady didn't even apologised, until we asked to see their manager. Their manager handled it well and apologised, and even offered us to upgrade our room to suite.
However, the suites were worse than the deluxe room. The furnitures were old and creaky and there was even a piece of used tissue on the sofa! Not only that, the bathtub was dirty with dark footprints and looked like it was never clean for months, or years? There was supposed to be a jacuzzi function for the bathtub and it was not functionable as well. When we run the water from the bathtub, brown water came out from it. Mega EWW.
Furthermore, we found a cockroach right on the bed when we checked in. How clean can the place be?? Our aircon was not working much as well, tried to adjust the temperature but even when we adjust it to 5degrees (which is ridiculous), the temperature felt like 24 or 25 degrees or more. And lastly, the safety box was spoiled. So much for being a 'suite'. Our room number was 4125.
Not recommended as the place is too overpriced with lousy service standards. Food is expensive (especially with almost 20% taxes, our buffet dinner cost almost SGD$50), and not tasty at all. Pasta at the buffet dinner at Kopi-O was cold even though it just came out from the kitchen. Food choices was limited as well. My friends and I had one plate of mains each and some fruits and left. First time ever do I see us eating so little for a buffet. Staffs were not welcoming as well, looks very reluctant to serve even if we just ask for a spoon, which was not restocked at the buffet self serve area.
Activities were all chargeable and at ridiculous touristy area prices. S$55 for 15 minutes of jetski?? I could do an hour or two at other tourist areas. Everything is chargeable except for darts, and pool.
Wifi was bad as well, you could probably use it for like 2 minutes at the lobby before getting disconnected. Wifi not useable in the room even though there is signal.
Money would be well-spent at some other resorts/beach destination. Sighs. It is our first time wanting to go home so badly on a holiday trip.
