The margherita is not bad except for the mozzarella(that should be at least `fior di latte`) that tastes more like `sottiletta` instead and the consistency that is more like a crunchy Roman pizza (not a thin and soft pizza made in Napoli , that is where margherita is been invented) ...But come on, this is Indonesia, it is good enough . (P.s. I'm from Napoli, Italy). The service is too pressing, doesn't leave you alone with your pizza for a second. `want a beer?`, `want another beer?` , `everything OK?` `have you finished?`(never ask `have you finished?` in a restaurant come on, it's the basics) `want the bill?` ...every time... Didn't leave me alone with my pizza for a minute ahah.

Daily catch soup was absolutely amazing. Pizza and fondue was really good too.
My main issue was with the temperature, it was way too hot. Probably because it is a massive stone space with only one side exposed to the air outside, it was much warmer there than outside in the evening to a point of being a bit too uncomfortable.
Few more touches fell short of the expected standard too. E.g. if I'm paying 50 dollars for dinner, I don't expect to have to pour 5 dollar mineral water myself. That despite the fact, that staff was mainly standing there with one of them right next to my table

Best Italian food in this remote island. Bit expensive but all well worth. Recommend to anyone, congrats to the chef!

the reviews are so high that I decided to give it a try at least on the pizza that everyone mentioned because we were rather full that time. and I would only say that it is okay. not the best pizza I have ever eaten, and it's way too salty for us. need to ask for a lot of pepper to go with the saltiness. staffs respond are quite slow and they don't have full understanding about the menu. the waiter bring us water, which we didnt know are not free until the payment. toilet are super clean, i like the way they provided cloth to dry our hands instead of tissue. they also provide pick up and drop off service.

Had two great takeaway pizzas for the family today. I found it after a short (10mins) walk from Bintang Flores Hotel.
After visiting briefly today I want to take the family back for a proper dining experience.
The setting and atmosphere would not be out of place in Italia. Great friendly staff.

Went there for pizza. Delicious!!! Coconut juice is made with the inside of the coconut which is blended with ice!!! Bathrooms are clean, elegant, fancy (clean face cloths). $$. Owner is present and visited our table.

Awesome.. Mantis shrimp gnocchi? How good! Staff were very prompt and friendly, price was very very reasonable. Highly recommended. (Ps. Get one of these green drinks, top notch)

It was convenient to where we were staying and is highly rated so we tried this for our last dinner. The whole experience was under whelming. The only part of it's reputation it lived up to was it's price. It was easily the most expensive restaurant we ate at. Besides being expensive, the service is at best average. The food is decent but not exceptional. I prefer my prawns shelled and cleaned. I've had better gnocchi too. The place is just to pretentious.

I love everything about the place. The senior waitress always comes to the table and ask how we are.. the food is amazing and man! I love the marinara risotto!

We needed a break from Indonesian food, and Italian is our favorite, so we gave made in Italy a try. The food here is the closest you will get to real Italian food without using Italian ingredients. We both had pasta dishes, both perfectly al dente and very tasty. They advertise as homemade pasta and from the texture I can tell that they are not lying. Wines were great too. Prices are highest I have seen in Indonesia, but even then I can recommend it.

The food is really good and can compete with a good italian restaurant in Europe. However, service and preparation time were a catastrophe. For some reason,most of the waiters are only allowed to bring food and take empty plates. This results in extrodinary waiting times to make an order or to get the bill. Not including the tax in the price and charging for credit card payment are just cheap tricks, that should not be used by such a high priced etablissement.

Pizza was fantastic, not too expensive for what you get (try the seafood pizza). the special menu salad with pumpkin was very dry and overpriced

If i could give no stars i would, food was good but the chef was unpleasant, gruff and incapable of accepting feedback. The staff seem to be scared of him. I will not be returning and advise others to bring their custom somewhere it would be more appreciated

Great food , authenic italian cuisine and the chef is very friendly n sociable. However, this is a non air condition place, for a person like me afraid of humidity ,can be a challenge.

Beautiful setting, our waitress was delightful but the food didn't meet our expectations for the price we paid. Under seasoned pizza, undercooked gnocchi and too heavy desserts on the menu to have after a heavy meal. Nice wine list though

It looks as if the owner lost his touch. This restaurant was for many years our favorite place.... but last 4 visits very disappointing. Expensive! Burned lasagna. Small portions. No serve bintang beer. And expensive drinking water.... so sad!! This place used to be like heaven in labuan bajo..... this is my first negative review in my life.... please reorganise the management and cooking.... going bigger is not always better.

Reviews do not tell the truth about this place. It looks very cozy inside but service and food quality is not good here. The 2 staff we met speak almost no English so you have to use body language unless you are with Indonesian. Our lasagna had a strange taste and both lasagna and pizza was burnt. Prices are also among the highest in Labuan Bajo, 91k Rupiah for a pizza.

It was ok, we went two times (not knowing there were other restaurants close by to try) Each time we went, the server told us they only had limited menu items, mostly only pizza, not pasta etc.

By far the best Italian restaurant in Eastern Indonesia, if not all of the country! No kidding. Wild boar and local harvest herbs...it's incredible. Well-run, great food and best wine list. Yum.
