Its only 10 mnt driving from Labuan Bajo Airport . Its small cave and only spent about an hour to enjoy the cave. You will find fossil of turtle & coral thats proven its from.bottom of the sea. Its interested ..and if you come at right time, inside the cave like mirror coz sunlight inside..unfortunately not happened when i came

We went there thinking it’s an interesting place to visit but there is nothing to see.
You should pay 20000Rp per person to visit alone the cave.
For me the visit hasn’t been interested and neither the place is nice.
Don’t spent your time to go there!

If you don't like geological stuff,you will not find anything fun here. But if you are geological addict you will love it, as this cave is a proof that this place was under water cave thousands years ago.

Bring your own flashlight here. When you pay the entrance fee at the front, the officer will ask you: do you need accompany by a guide or you will go by yourself inside the cave, there is an area you need to crawl and use a flashlight (not provided) and wear helmet provided near the the hole inside the cave; if you want to enter this area, do ask a guide to accompany you if you not confident enough and never enter a small space, dark cave hole before. If you just want to look around except this area, you can go by yourself.

Was useful to have the local guide because they were able to point out the fossils. There's a great one of a complete turtle inside the cave. The cave itself is reasonably small but has some nice formations. Also saw a lot of life inside with bats, a big cave spider and huge cricket things which reminded us of the New Zealand Wetta. Entrance is cheap 20k and I think we tipped the guide a similar amount.

"Batu Cermin is a very famous cave in bajo harbor. The cave is very interesting to visit, because it is very unique and exotic. The location of the cave that is not too far from the city makes it easy for us to visit it. you should visit "Batu Cermin" when you visit bajo harbor, because there are various kinds of beautiful ornaments in it. this cave will take us like being in a different era."

Ever imagine of a sea that transforms into a cave? This is it. The reef turns into beautiful stalactites & stalacmites. You go about 30m into the cave and at the end there's a spot where the "mirror" is reflected up above. It only takes abt an hour to explore the whole cave. Yet all the stones are AMAZING. I love how firm the cave is.
Ticket is 10k IDR/person & you'll guided by a local. When entering you'll be politely ask to tip the local guide.

Interesting. Hard to find since Google maps is not too precise concerning the location.
Consider taking a guide, you'll miss some cool fun facts if you don't.

Exotic cave with great history behind it, it's easy to find this place. Not expensive for the entrance ticket, but you also need to pay for guide. Please follow the rules, don't smoke so anyone else can enjoy this place, and keep it clean.

Local tourism spot. Not too big and a bit underdeveloped. Nice cave, and there's local event venue before the entrance.

When I was here first time (2010) we could see many spiders inside the cave. Huge unique spiders which I haven't seen in another place. But when I was there again this year (2017) there is no spiders anymore. I asked local guides and they told me that "spiders've gone". But why, they don't know. I was quite sad because for me is this place just ordinary cave and nothing special. Spiders were the most interesting part of it.
Nevermind, still good place to visit. Go by angkot from Labuan Bajo, price is 3500 idr. Then you have to pay e trance fee 10000 idr and better if ypu go with guide, just because they know lot of stories about this place. It's up to you how much you will give to the guide, we gave 10000 idr per person.

Amazing cave system! Totally unexpected and absolutely worth the quick drive to visit! Bring a flashlight :)
P.S. getting a guide is not necessary, had more fun on our own!

When we are went to this place we use the google maps. But apparently the route was wrong. You shoul ask some local people. The view not so good. Our guide tour said that perfect time to go to cermin cave around 12 am till 2 pm.

Not a fan of cave but I recommend to visit this one, as there's not much attractions in labuan bajo city (not sailing trip). Entrance fee is cheap (IDR 10K/local people), no parking fee. Tip for local guide is also IDR 10K

Nice walk there surrounded by bambu. A torch and a helmet are included in the price, and you can pay a bit more to be guided.
There is more light in the morning, between 9 and 10 am.
It was fun getting in the cave, helmet is indispensable ;)

This is do close to the airport. Just a 10 minute drive. The place is beautiful. So if you have some time to kill, visit this cave. Absolutely worth the efford. Low entrance fee. Also for turists.... they supply you with a guide and lamps. Just do it!!!

Quite a big cave with a walk through huge bamboo trees. It doesn't look like it's well maintained.

We can see the unique cave with sunlight in there. The stone looks like certain formation (gorilla, mother mary, etc)

The most interesting from this cave is the story behind it. It is recommended to use local guide so they can tell u a little about the history, and especially the photo spots that u dont want to miss them. The guide was very helpful and very kind. Although it is not the best place, I still recommend it for you.

Cool place to experience a cave. Be careful of slippery rocks. The guides were helpful and nice. Good place to soak in nature for city boys.

Cave is really small (in size) and not that spectacular. You have to enter the cave while crouching.
I only enjoyed it because we went without a guide and explored the shallow cave by ourselves, it was a little adventure. If you turn of your light you are blind, really cool!
