A brand new airport, small with a recent model airport. Clean, with coffee shops selling Flores specialty, bookshop and souvenir shop. Excellent for this small island.

Eat before going, no WiFi, EXCEPT in lounge near gates bathroom, pay for buffet, basic Indonesian type, and get there WiFi, pass code, much of WiFi in area is a bit slow and unreliable, so don t rely on it for urgent last minute reservations for instance.
Airport is clean, decent bathrooms.
NOTE:Overweight baggage, they will charge you for, you will have to go downstairs to there baggage office, pay for the overweight fee, take the receipt back to ticket counter upstairs, they then will give you the boarding passes, so if you think your baggage is overweight, add 15 minutes to your check in.
ALSO across the street from airport is a great fresh seafood restaurant, look to the left when exiting airport and across street.

small airport but easy to access
prepare your umbrella, sunglasses and sunblock cream
you can find a gift shop outside the airport full with komodo souvenirs

Actually it has been renovated. It is clean but very limited facilities inside, better to have your proper meal before going here because there was no restaurant inside.

Small and relaxed airport, not much to do here. Security check and boarding was super fast, so don't come to early before your flight leaves. Make sure to get a window seat to enjoy the view on Flores and Komodo national park when you leave the place

It’s small airport in Labuan Bajo. But the airport is really helpful for you that want to have a trip to Komodo Island. My friend told me the airport will be renovated to make it bigger. It sounds great. When you go to arrival gate, there will be many people offer transportation or tour service to Labuan Bajo and around. The airport is clean and near to my Hotel.

Small and clean airport. But, I think that the airport need more integrated public or official land transportation to support the tourism

No money exchange here!! Ahh haha and the one in town rips you off way more than the money exchange places in Jakarta

Small but really good airport. It has really great improvement from the last time I was here (2007) the lobby is comfy enough for waiting. The toilet is very clean and now it has snack counter and also a restaurant. You also can buy some Flores souvenir (and dont forget coffee bean) in here. Now, the flights are more accessible from many airline (I recommended garuda, nam air and lion air).

I think its great remote place like this has decent airport, maybe because of comodo. What I dont like is there is no official transport, you have to be smart to get cheap transport. And the people are very aggressive when offering their transport. Its like damn it if I need one Ill ask you no need to ask every god damn minute, its not like its cheap, its very expensive compared to city

Small airport, but nice. I like it. Not far from city, just go by angkot, don't need taxi.
anggit bahar (08/07/2017 22:42)
Need a bigger airport and need a fully space for merchandise and minimarket. But it's enough for a "small" city like Labuan Bajo.
Steven Rezeki (11/05/2017 13:12)
New airport. Washrooms are clean but lots of stuff could still be improved
Dian Hermansyah (16/04/2017 05:42)
These service conditions are good but do not allow it to fly night because the airport is not equipped with lights
Fikri Fauzanakbar Dhirgantara (12/04/2017 06:27)
This airport is pretty good. It's brand new and it's clean. For a small city, this airport might be the best. Some people might consider it as overbuilt.

small aeroport no restaurant just a little shop selling snacks twice the normal price. restrooms are clean. No digital screen to check your flight.
Arjan Rijkers (17/02/2017 04:51)
Proffesional clean also the restrooms.. No hustle. Downstairs some food restaurants. Good security. Fast handling. This airport became very good in the last years. They are getting ready to be an international airport. Indonesian immigration services available. But located on the other side of the airport. Need transport to go there.
Jamie Reeves (09/02/2017 00:29)
Good place to get cheap flights all over Indonesia, however a lot of the flights are delayed.

Dont expect to high for an airport in this small city and remote place. The government had put a big effort for this airport and for me it is quite impressive. I am hoping that this airport will improve a lot in few years due to higher traffic in this lovely island.
Samantha Abel (02/12/2016 04:21)
Talking about first impression, this airport really knows how to give a good first impression to first-time visitors. Clean, enough space and not much hassle, although a bit too big, and lovely view

Small but decent airport.
Arrived at Labuan Bajo airport, the small airport is impressively new and clean. The design is quite efficient, the flow of traffic is good. Luggage claim is a bit slow.
A small but clean and decent airport at southern Flores island, the closest to Komodo islands. The city is "humble", with roads not jammed with cars and motorbikes, houses still have gardens, old style shops, the tallest building is Siloam hospitals. Motortaxi "ojek" and private car taxi (no Uber/grab/gojek/lyft/Didi, sorry) are main transport mode for tourists in the city. The port town has some interesting places of interest.
- The Labuan Bajo seaport is scenic with many boats and sunset panorama. Seen from the hill, the port is scenic with colorful house roofs, blue sea and small islands.
- Kampung Ujung is local and traditional seafood culinary center by the sea, near the Labuan Bajo sea port. Get local and support local community. You can choose the fresh fish/prawn/crab/squid then tell the cook how you want it cooked.
- Mirror rock cave is a bit far off. Ancient coral that forms giant cave, with feature a crevice that during midday will allow a thin sunrays into the cave creating an illusion of a mirror. And a coral that shaped like Mary (called Bunda Maria).
- Restaurants, mostly operated and owned by foreigners. Some resto have view to the sea and sunset.
- Exotic shop is the souvenir shop in the city in front of the airport.
- Love hills, Amelia hills, round mounds like teletubbies hills. Amazing sunset view.
- Resorts, Atlantis On The Rock/Plataran is scenic.
- Flores traditional clothings and real pearls.

Nice and clean airport, looks great from both inside and outside. But.... the toilet so dirty and wet
indri latifah (05/06/2016 21:53)
U can see birds in waiting area .. cool 😄😄😄
Carolyn Brennan (01/06/2016 08:24)
Super clean, a/c, no food or wifi (minus cart snacks)....don't get ripped off!! A taxi or motorbike taxi shouldn't cost more than 20,000 at worst to town. It's a 20 minute walk. The airport advertises services at 50,000+....haggle a little, save some money.
Alla Chichkina (31/05/2016 01:19)
Cool building from the outside but no coffee shop or wifi! So boring.
Jeff Axup (19/04/2016 02:21)
Nice new building, but:
- No free wifi
- No power outlets in the waiting area
- No restaurant in the waiting area
What were these people thinking when they built this???
