Very cozy ambience. Love the native deco....and best of all the food, esp the ulam raja is highly recommended!! All the food is a tad pricey though.

They serve traditional Dayak food. Food in its most natural flavour. Do not expect too fancy food

An excellent place to bring friends, visitors or business associates to enjoy local sarawak tribal meal. Authentic and delicious. Price is rather reasonable. Must try their tapai and tuak ice cream! Delicious!

Great place for foreigners. But the price is extremely expensive. You can try the same food for almost half the price around Kuching and it will be the same taste. But this is place is still good because the customer service is awesome, the place is magnificent clean place. Good for family dinners romantic dates, etc. Classy elegant place with wonderful interior. Quantity and quality both satisfactory. Overall good place if u can afford it.

Love the dayak themed deco and relaxing environment.. delicious authentic dayak cuisine...and the tuak (local rice wine) is great. Highly recommended if you are adventurous and love tasting authentic native local food.

This restaurant specializes Sarawak's native flavour. The service is better than average and they accept cards.

Non halal. Chef recommendation dishes highlighted in the menu are really good. Jani tunu, jani kari, jani guring, paku kubok, manok lulun, tuak ice cream.

Nice dayak food with classy interior that shows the history of the shop's owner's royal family. The only downside is the price, way higher than most other dayak restaurants. How should i put it? "Food is good but not worth the price."

If you have guests from outside Sarawak and they want to try the local cuisine but your grandma is not up for cooking for them, take them here.

It is not mentioned, they do close from 2pm-5pm. But if they don't have customer they will close. Recommend to call before you drop by.
Family runs.
I had a very high expectation reading the reviews. The food I ordered was just ok. It's not bad. But not memorable. Abit disappointed. Oh, slightly pricey too.
But the tuak ice cream special +Asi manis ice cream (rice like) That is really good. So i am giving it a 4 stars!
I see ppl come only for the ice cream and tuak only. Now u know why lol
Ordered: (all not sipcy)
1. Manok lulun, chicken-the best out of what we had ordered. That was a surprise because it looks the most mediocre
2. Paku Kubok, vegetable - i love paku but i dono why their's taste bitter and not as spicy as I thought it should be.
3. Jani tunu, roast pork- the sauce is very good. But the pork is normal. Abit too dry for me. And the skin is tough.

We do not understand why it is so highly recomended. It's not worth the taxi from the city center and it's overpriced.

The Dyak, is a restaurant, bar, coffee shop and so much more. The whole customer experience has been strongly considered and meticulously executed. From the greeting at the entrance to every piece of furniture and decorations to the menu and the content of the menu too. The service was impeccable, selection of food was vast and interesting the drinks were tantalising, highly recommend the local brew. A must do for everyone in Kyching, you'd be missing out on one of the best experiences if you didn't!!!!

Freaking amazing. Go here if you have any sense of adventure at all. This food should be all around Malaysia, its a tragedy that it is not.
