Nothing to say against the hotel. A perfect stay in a very confortable room. The spa is good and well staffed

It's OK for what you're paying for. Concierge nowhere to be seen when I went to my room. Other than that, the hotel's good. Breakfast is not that good, though. Polite and courteous staff. Great bathroom, by the way. But if you're on a tight budget, I suggest trying other hotels.

The best part of the stay is its bed and pillow. The best rest i have ever had outside home. Room is specious too.

I think there is room for improvement for Pullman. The first day I came, noticed the bathroom sink was clogging. Informed front desk and got it fix the next day. I am not a buffet person, but the breakfast was really disappointing. The cups in the room were quite dirty. The towels did not smell good (I recommend using Comfort softeners 🤭). And the rain shower knob is hard to use and gets heated up by the hot water.

The one thing I enjoyed was the view from my room (of the city). The location is quite strategic too.

Very spacious room. Parking space available at basement. You can find local food at the hills (Ground Floor).

Great room but horrible staffs. They dont smile if you are locals. No sense of urgency, no effort to make guest feel welcomed. Maybe the staffs here are underpaid 🤣 But seriously this hotel has lost its magic. The food are so lousy.

Despite it is a very highly rated hotel, I find it a little run down. The shower in particular, the temperature can only be set between hot or cold. There’s no way to adjust medium hot for instance. Once the hot water kicks in, it is all hot. Aside from room condition, the breakfast is good. Choices covers from Asian to western type of food. The executive lounge’s pre cocktail dinner could have more choice of snacks and cocktail.

Rooms were large and comfy. Toilets were fairly clean as well. I was looking forward to using the bathtub but for the three days that we were there, there was barely enough hot water in the shower, and definitely not enough to fill a tub.

Breakfast was disappointing the first day we were there and we decided to go out for breakfast for the other days.

Also tried out the gym and would not recommend it. It was stuffy as the air conditioning was switched off and I could not find a single staff operating the gym even though it was 11am. It would be good if the hotel management could ensure that a staff is present at all times in the gym.

Hotel massage is by Mirage Spa which is located near the hotel. The massage rooms are clean and hygienic. Accor members get a discount for the massage as well.

Rooms good size but awfully dusty. Stayed in other hotels near by and they had metal kettle for boiling water. This hotel you pay more but no detail is put into your stay. No slippers provided is not an issue because I brought my own. But if the floor has no carpet you would expect slippers. The room is super dusty. Got house keeping to vacuum again but the photos show not much was done at all. Cheap interior finishings used. Only plus is bed is comfortable. Good views. Just tried the breakfast. There was a worm in the porridge. I guess it's probably organic rice. Please look after finer details in this hotel. At the most this hotel is a 2.5 to 3 star.

Pullman Kuching is one of the latest hotel in Kuching city. The exterior and interior is beautiful.
However service standards could be improved.I was really disappointed not to have an accessible room. One of the reasons we specify an accessible room was due to the heavy doors and we stated that in our request when we booked. However there was no accessible room available when we checked in.I feel that request for accessible rooms should be treated with a priority.Nobody request for an accessible room unless there is a real need.
Location is superb just within walking distance from the Kuching waterfront. There is a tiny shopping mall at the basement of the property.
Pool is clean and well maintained.
However the doughnut I bought the night before was half baked.
Would stay there again. But please remember my requests.

I am satisfied with my stay at Pullman Kuching.
From the moment I registered for my stay at the reception counter, with the warm welcome from your front staff all the way towards the comfort of my room. The fruit basket and cookies gave a touch of welcome and much appreciated. Tried the gym which I found to be in good condition, with the spacious floor space and well equipped facilities. Good stuff and made my stay very satisfying.
However, the only set back to me is that I stayed for a few days and realized the buffet breakfast you served are of the same dishes every morning that I stayed there. Perhaps would be nice you can change the menu every alternate mornings to provide more variety. Thanks.

This is one of the better hotels in Kuching and very reasonable rate - especially if you get one of their many specials. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. It was a very short stay due to delayed flights so I only spent 6 hours sleeping (with very comfortable pillows) but the high pressure shower was also very much appreciated. I will be back.

Good location, nice hotel, nice people.
But on the 3rd day, there was no cold water to shower. Only hot water available.
Was told the water pressure was low, asked for a pail but never got one.
Had to fill up the bath tub with hot water, leave for 2 hours to cool, then use the hotel glass to bath.
What a way to take bath in a 5-star hotel!

Feel welcomed by a help from the bell boy even I came with an small car. Friendly services at the check in counter. A morning was overwhelmed by a friendly good morning wish by the housekeeping personnel. A great day to start with an enormous delicious choices during breakfast.

Thank you.

I was on my business trip to Kuching in which I spent most of my time visiting customers and dealers. I arrived at the Hotel quite late and what impressed me the most was the treat at the front counter - a marvelous smiling face and cheerful greeting. The registration was fast, accurate and friendly. It was glad to see such a facility so clean, neat and tidy. I had a quite sleep before the morning sun woke me up at 6am. The nice breakfast geared me up for another challenging day. I looked back and whispered to myself, what a wonderful stay!

The room was a generous size and in very good condition. The restaurant and bar facilities were very good. The barman was very friendly and even remembered our previous order, nice touch. The hotel location is central and an easy walk to everything in the centre of Kuching. The travel office was very helpful in arranging our tours to the local attractions.

Camillus Yang (10/06/2017 23:51)
the buffet had a good spread, rooms where clean, staff were friendly. The front desk allowed me for a late checkout as i had a lunch meeting hence very customer oriented. The mall was empty as not many shops were open. Le Club membership does have its benefits and the staff was friendly to apply discounts as in house guest or member.

Sing Yang Chiam (08/06/2017 01:46)
I enjoyed the big hotel lobby. The cafe and lounge was nice. The swimming pool though small was sufficient.

The rooms were nice and clean. Overall, it was a good stay.

Got my boarding pass printed at the front desk, many thanks for that!

The room was of good size and set up with a nice ward robe area. The bed was comfortable but the lighting of the room was too dim. Unfortunately, the room air-condition was too cold & could not be adjusted despite changing the temperature setting.
It was good there was a hose by the toilet bowl. However, the hose water stream could not be controlled by pressing the little lever & had to be controlled only by turning the tap on the wall.

The room we had was really spacious, comfortable and made me wish I could stay a few more nights instead of only one. The biggest plus point for me was the huge bathroom. After a long walk outside in the evening, coming back to soak in the tub was a bliss. Not forgetting the rain shower which had a massage feature (I think).

The front desk and concierge were extremely courteous and friendly. The breakfast spread had a variety of selections though I did not eat much.

Over all, it was a marvelous 2nd stay in this hotel and I would definitely come back for my future travels.

Hotel does not have the normal Pullman characteristics in other cities or countries. I booked a smoking room via agoda but was informed when I check in that the hotel has been changed to non smoking 6 months ago. Main lobby restaurant buffet has flies. Hotel staff appears flustered at check in. We changed the rooms 3 times in 4 days. First room had very bad wifi. Second room ac temperature is either too hot or too cold. We requested for some special arrangements for room as it's our parents anniversary. Staff had to be reminded a few times. We requested for porter to pick up our luggage prior to check out but no one came. We reminded front office and the duty manager came herself to assist. I'm not sure if they are lack of staff or if the staff are doing cross training. However the same staff are multi tasking. No wonder they appear flustered!

Good room with reasonable price. Bad experience involving room key. Had problems with key card every single day on my 5 days 4 nights stay. I had to ask for card renewal at the receptionist because room is not accepting key card made on the previous day. Imagine you're exhausted after a whole day activity, came back to hotel and went straight to room, but the door just won't unlock and had to go down to receptionist to ask help. Really annoying.

The hotel was clean, luxurious even for the cheaper rooms, fantastic room service, feels like a resort, exclusive, exemplary food and priced at a good value

Stayed 5 nights at deluxe room. Spacious clean and top class. Staffs are friendly and pleasant. There is a mall within the hotel complex. Morning buffet need improvement and variety in daily choices.

Had a pleasant 2-night stay, room was clean and well appointed. Nice pool. Gym equipment needs some care and cleaning. Enjoyed breakfast. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Love it!
Our king size bed room is lovely. Huge and with a super big ensuite toilet (so big you can fit a single bed inside the toilet) with bathtub and rain fall shower.

The bed is firm and great sleep.
Very clean.
Breakfast, wide spread of choices from western to local and up to 10 types of bread & pastries.

Plenty of taxi in front but they don't go by meter. There is no uber. So average rm15 to anywhere in town and rm 30 to airport (this sucks!)

Taxi fare around Rm15-18 around town. Rm 30 to airport.

Minus 1 star for the Internet. Slow connections and sometimes not able to connect.

George TAP (20/08/2016 04:27)
Overpriced hotel in Kuching. 5 star hotel w 3 star service. One of the worst is the elevator, terrible card readers. Breakfast is also sooooo sooooo...

Bright and tall lobby at main entrance gives an impressive air of space of the modern design furnished setup. Fair choices of food at the restaurants in the hotel. Friendly staff and well maintained facilities. Interestingly the adjunct mall is poorly maintained with hazardous broken floor tiles...be mindful.

Phenomenon hotel located in the place that is centralize and as well a lot of good food surrounding the area. 5 Mins walk to most of the historical and good food in downtown , Rooms are huge and comfortable with good service given by the staff of the hotel. Will always come back to this hotel whenever i come to kuching for quick getaway and holiday !

Lim EV (22/04/2016 12:00)
Ok hotel, but pay a bit more for the one down the road... Better experience there ;)

Ryan Ng (13/01/2016 14:30)
It was a one night stay. The hotel was clean albeit the lack of facilities was a bit disappointing. Furthermore, the adjoining mall (it was Hills Point or Hill Mall) was just appalling. Hopefully the owner would do something about it, else it would do Pullman no favours.

But it is close to many authentic food outlets. That would be my plus point.

Rooms are huge!
Toilets are huge!
Excellent views.

-
Yellowish swimming pool water.
Service can be improved.
System of room card for lift faulty and inefficient!
WiFi is not unlimited and is chargeable after daily bandwidth of 500MB is used up.
