Waited here for 40 minutes, they only managed to serve 10 customers with two counters opened.

This post office is operating in one shop lot. Besides the mailing transactions, it acts as an agent for Poslaju , Bank Simpanan National and Western Union. Other transactions that are available here including payment of utility bills like water bills, electricity bills, Home line telephone bills on condition those bills are not overdue. Renewal of road tax can be done here too but I am not sure if they perform renewals of driving license like the General Post office in Kuching does. Usually it is very crowded and could be stuffy inside though fully air conditioning. There are 3 counters but during my several visits there, only 2 counters are opened and the queue were bad. Waited for more than half an hour to be served. Once I had a very bad experience when I went there to do a Western Union transaction. When I went in I enquired if the Western Union system is OK, not offline. One of the counter staff told me to get my number and queue so I did. I waited for 1 hour still but my number was still long way to be called. I approached the same counter staff and asked her to check if the Western system is not offline. I was thinking if it was offline I won't wait but go to other western union agent. However, I was asked to wait for my turn again. I approached the supervisor but she told me to wait for my turn too. I insisted she checked and she then told me the Western Union system was offline since the day before. I was furious of course. Why couldn't they just informed me that the system was offline instead of asking me to get my number and queue up for 1and a half hours. The lady counter staff who told me to get my number and queue up had the gut to tell me.." mum sik Suka sik boh datang sitok " ..Translate to English means.. If you don't like it don't come here " . She is very unethical, unprofessional, rude and gave shame to the public sectors who should serve the public according to the slogan... "Cekap , Bersih , Bersopan Santun dan Amanah ". Surprisingly, the supervisor did nothing about such terrible attitude of her subordinate. I regret to say , efficiency, courtesy, and problem handling here is far below par.
