Very basic place to stay. Good for traveler who does not need the hotel experience.
However, the mattress is very rough and might cause pain on certain people

This place, amidst the small streets of Melaka, with a tiny entrance pleasantly suprises you once you enter! The rooms are clean, waters warm and the bathrooms though shared are well-kept and clean. This place is at a walking distance from Jonker walk, the Melaka cruise and other famous points!

Small, cozy and very affordable. Especially for budget travellers and back packers. The location is very strategic, in the old streets of Malacca. Parking is a problem, so if you are driving you may want to park at the open carpark about 300 meters away or at the super expensive carpark at Hard Rock cafe. The walls are thin in the room, and shower/toilet is at the back. WiFi is good enough for light browsing.

Cute cottage by the river. Close to all the infamous sights like Jonker walk, St. Peter's Church and melaka river cruise.

Some cheaper room doesnt have toilet. Have to use common toilet/ bathroom outside the room. No free drinking water.
Very near popular tourist spots such as Jonkers walk, museums, A Formosa Fort and Stadhuys

We stayed at Andrew's hostel and we had a really good time, the place was clean and 2 minutes walk from Jonker street. We stayed downstairs in a private room with bathroom and was a perfect place for people that like to hang out specially during the night (for us a little bit noisy we are morning tourist 😀).
The staff was nice and gave us some really good tips.
They also have a small restaurant with a nice river side view "Pizza and Yogurt" where you can have lunch and dinner and the pizza is made by Andrew himself.

Around that place, interesting to see the shophouse architecture, usually a front office which is a shop, the back office is a restautant , cafe or bar and at the middle a king of patio , with sunlights , like spanish or north african arabic patio ...
